I bought a designer dress, then i had feelings that it was fake (by the way it was sewed) I made a request to official brand website, they confirmed that the dress i bought from Poshmark was fake. I complained to Poshmark, they returned me part of the price, but i wanted they block the seller who sells fake product. They didn't, so she is still there d\selling fake dresses. And most funny people who have no clue about how designer clothes look like so appreciate her for cheaper price for so fresh collection
Let me start by saying I do not EVER write reviews but I feel like this is too important to let slide. About a year ago I purchased a pair of dior sneakers for over $900 from a very trusted seller. I didn't think I had to worry too much about them being fake because they were sent out to be authenticated by poshmark. They passed authentication and were delivered to me. Just this past week I re-sold them through poshmark and they were sent out to be authenticated (by poshmark again) for my buyer. They didn't pass authentication this time and were sent back to me. The SAME pair of shoes I had paid $980 for and were verified authentic by poshmark. To say I am angry and disappointed would be an understatement. DO NOT EVER trust them or their authentication process. I've sent them an email and haven't heard anything back, shocker.
I can't even express how horrible Poshmark is. The customer service is rude, they do not acknowledge complaints or questions, they straight up ignore seller and buyer issues, they make the most minor of situations incredibly difficult, they have not paid me for one of my sold items... I could go on and on. I will be reporting them to the BBB. My experience with them has been offensive and stressful. So unnecessary for something that should be fun. Poshmark is a really bad boyfriend that cheats and ignores communication. I despise them. Do not do business with them!
I have tried to contact customer service several times to get my items listed in my closet. However, I keep getting an error and will not that me post. I haven't gotten any response in three weeks. I will be closing my account due to the poor customer service support for the seller.
Some beautiful items, true, some decent sellers as well BUT the customer "service" overall is horrid. We have heard NOTHING but nightmares about this place. No return policy no help, unanswered emails, and also along w/ a string of dishonest shenanigans we have heard (but not experienced) We cannot fathom as to how much longer this site can uphold it's bearings. Be very very careful when you purchase something, you cannot return it and will go through hell doing so.
I got 3 packs of underwear from a seller under armor, the item is counterfeit and knock off brand, do not trust this site buying anything name brand this is not the first time for me, but it will be the last time I buy anything from this site
Will not me return a brand new item. I have opened a dispute with credit card company. Stay away from this place...
Once Poshmark has entered the "REPOSH" option, you will never receive a refund for the damaged / wrong item that you bought there. The seller can send you an elephant instead of earrings and Poshmark will say: "That's right!" They always stay behind the seller now, because it is profitable for them that you get the wrong purchase, after all, you will have to resell it on Poshmark and they will get their benefits. I bought a bag from a seller_casey_monta_ who described a purse as White / Brown. Here's what I got. I wrote to Poshmark a hundred messages with a hundred photos, and they said, "The item fits the description!" Seriously? Do you agree, guys? So no expensive purchases on Poshmark are possible anymore, only cheap trinkets, otherwise you are at great risk.
Their authentication experts are no experts. They pass obvious fakes and deny the real thing. They don't actually know the designers and what markings were from what year. There is no customer service you can actually call and no person to speak to just an email address. Sell and purchase elsewhere for high end items
Selling and purchasing low end items are fine.
The item I ordered was a Small. I received an XL. When I let Poshmark know about the problem, they told me I had to return the item within 2 business days. The problem is: I would have to print out a label (I don't have a printer) and then take it to the post office. All this for a $20 blouse. The burden is 100% on me. I'm required to go to all this work, and all I did was order something from them.
Forget them! This is the last item I'm buying from Poshmark. It's now my problem because they can't get their order right.
First time ordering with Poshmark and I never received my items. Contacted Poshmark and their reply was that sometimes sellers have personal issues. What?! Contacted seller and still no order received. Do the people that sell on Poshmark hate money? Why go through the effort and not send the items. Is this a scam?
I purchased boots *******@chasing_tags on December 17,2021, but did not wear them for several weeks. Upon visual inspection, there seemed to be no issues. After wearing the boots 2 times, several weeks apart, I wiped them down with a wet cloth, and much of the skin came off. I believe the boots were wore out and a temporary fix was done in order to sell them. I attempted to contact Poshmark 2 times, but the only method to do this was through their online forum and it provided no email thread for documentation. I never received a confirmation of either complaint and never received a response from them. I then complained to the BBB. Poshmark responded to them declaring that I never issued any complaints. Poshmark makes it very difficult to contact them and does not allow anyone to report a dishonest seller unless it is done within 3 days. We, their customers and the only reason they remain in business, must be given a platform to rate their Sellers.
I only have ordered twice from this site. And will never again. Both times poshmark contacted me a day or two later and said the sale was canceled bc the buyer changed their mind or the item somehow magically is damaged. What a waste of time. I recommend ebay. I've never had a problem with ebay
If you are buying items from Poshmark, you are on your own as there is no customer service to look into if you received a damaged item. Your money is gone if you failed to report the damaged item in 2 days. This policy is beyond horrible and it is put in place so sellers can sell flawed items and if the buyer is not quick enough to report, poshmark will make money out of it. They charge $7.11 for shipping? This should go down, poorly run business
You can buy something get the wrong item as listed and there return policy you need a engineer's degree to understand it. Make Long story short, a merchant can send you a item that is not listed correctly and your stuck with a night mare. Bought a Under Armour shirt. Payed7.95 to have it shipped and paid over 10.00 to have it returned priority mail the next day. It has been weeks nothing from the merchant and postmarks customer service one email that said I did not follow there procedures for a return! They wanted the tracking number they got it over a week ago. Sent follow up emails, NOTHING FROM THEM. Buyer beware there 800 number is a answering machine to emails only. Worse place I have ever done business! Out like 40.00. I searched for cold gear Under Armour cold gear came as heat gear huge difference. Is some of there policy they want you to resell the item. Unbelievable
And I'm not happy about it. Sold a vintage authentic LV bag for a song on the Poshmark site. I felt I had accurately portrayed its condition, but the buyer did not and filed a claim, which I'm fine with. EXCEPT, they put a hold on my funds so I never received payment and they let the buyer keep the bag. Its been over a week and many emails later I have gotten NO response. I am very very angry. As soon as this is resolved, if it is ever resolved, I'm pulling all of my other items and closing my account.
I purchased tattoo numbing cream from a seller claiming it had 10% lidocane. This did not numb at all but created a burning sensation on my skin. I also tested on my husband. When I let postmark know they said I had no proof. No refund.
I purchased a sweater for $40 on Poshmark. It was listed as a size L cashmere sweater from Macy's Charter Club. The reason for the purchase of the pink sweater was because I already own the same style/size in maroon that I love. The seater I received was pilled and shrunken, totally out of shape. I sent these picture to Poshmark and after a day, they said I should have asked for exact measurements before I bought it and that 'size' issues were not their problem. They told me to keep the sweater and that I would be issued a $10 credit for my inconvenience. They also said I should list the sweater on Poshmark and sell it to someone else. The definition of shady- pass the problem on to someone else. I will donate the sweater to my favorite charity- perhaps there is a 12 year old girl who likes the color pink. I will never do business with them again.
Buyers on Poshmark scam sellers like myself! A buyer named Noelle in California stole my Chanel earrings claiming she wanted to return them because a post was bent and the props used in my picture didn't get sent to her! Ridiculous! She mailed back everything I had packed the earrings in EXCEPT the earrings! And Poshmark has not been helpful whatsoever!
My order took almost 3 weeks to ship. This was way too late for me to use it for what I wanted and the website had said it would ship within 3-5 days. There was a complete lack of accountability and support. Would never use again.
Answer: You've got to be smart about shopping online these days. There are scammers wherever you go. That said, if you follow the guidelines and steer clear from trading, which most sites don't condone, then you'll be fine. I've purchased over 100+ items on poshmark and have sold over 90+ with complete success, with the exception of the one time I decided to trade... I've purchased low prices items before and received junk a couple times, but Poshmark ALWAYS refunded me! Maybe I'm super savvy, so here's what I always do: 1. Always checkout the seller's reviews. 2. Always ask if there are any flaws with used items. 3. Always ask if sizing is TTS: "true to size" 4. And most importantly, always ask if it's authentic (unless otherwise specified in the description) These 4 questions have always led me to receiving exactly what I wanted and at half the retail price! Plus, it's so much fun! I've made a considerable amount of income from it, while also adding a nice set of items to my own closet! Good luck out there!
Answer: I have received every item I have ever bought on poshmark. It arrived on time and was in the exact condtion as was promised and how it appeared in the pics.
Answer: Well yes she received the boots and probably didnt like them or they didnt fit etc. she is trying to get her money back by trying to re sell them for 70.00 however she would only get 56.00
Answer: It took a long time, but today Poshmark said they refunded the entire purchase amount plus shipping because the booties I ordered were misrepresented. It took About a month and a half. Two times they offered me small credits toward another Poshmark purchase. I filed a very well documented (12 pages of emails, screen shots of the ad and screen shots of dialogue between me and the seller, Kimology) fraud claim with my credit card company, and I emailed Poshmark's customer service to advise them. Two days later they told me they were refunding my money. We'll see if that happens. Poshmark's customer service is terrible, but persistence paid off. Best of luck to you!
Answer: Ask probing questions: non-smoker? Ever been dry cleaned? How worn is it? Cats? Etc
Answer: I have the total opposite reaction to this question. This mystery group that decides what the outcome will be is ridiculous. You can't talk to anyone, and my last attempt to get support through emails, took one month! Not a fan of learning who the good sellers are by trial and error...
Answer: She probably stalked the other seller's listing and found you commented on the item you purchased. So technically, yes they can see what you buy as long as you commented something on the purchased listing.
Answer: Be careful on posh because they do not have your back. There is a lot of scandalous people on posh. Be careful on ebay as well. I bought a Michael Kors set on ebay that was listed as excellent condition but it was stained and reeked of cigarette smoke. Ebay did not refund my money. They said since it wasn't listed as brand new with tags I was screwed. I was out $315. Who wants a handbag and wallet that smells like shit? I think twice before buying on Ebay since that experience. Shame on the dishonest seller and Ebay for allowing that behavior. Good Luck!
Answer: Have you sent an email to Poshmark support? I have before and they did respond
Answer: You unfortunately cannot return an item if it doesn't fit. It's best to ask the seller the measurements of the item, if they tell you the wrong measurements you can return it. If they will not give you the measurements then don't buy from them. I'm new to selling on Poshmark and I will allow people to return their items if they don't fit because I believe that's what's right, you will find other good sellers!
