Anyone can post anything about your items your selling even if it hurts your feelings just because they think your poor an better then you! Seriously I'm not a crybaby but this one person's comments made me cry and then so angry I could not stop thinking about bring ugly omg That isn't me
Been selling since 2016. Have all 5 start reviews. Listed some designer items of mine that I purchased in person and I get some random email that my item was flagged by some moderator (have no idea who, they get to hide behind Posh Mark) who determined without any discussion that my item was counterfeit. It is not. For all I know it is another seller or someone who has no idea what they are looking for. So disgusted with this experience and leaves a very, very unpleasant taste in my mouth. I will probably leave because I don't want to give any commissions to a company who treats sellers as guilty without having a discussion first.
I just started buying from postmark and have had very good luck buying name brand sunglasses. Prices are a fraction of what they are elsewhere. Merch arrives right away, in the condition specified.
Very satisfied.
First of all, I thought Poshmark was a cool place to buy items. WRONG. The moderators are very catty and petty(probably an old miserable $#*! who owns it who scans every single comment) they restricted not 1 but 2 of accounts and when I tried to make another one, it restricted my entire phone from trying to make an account. I then went on Instagram(because they don't respond to emails) and they deleted me on there too. I hate them. I haven't done anything to them. Oh well their lost. I should have never went to them! I'm over it. Who ever owns the company needs their $#*! beat! $#*! POSHMARK
I attempted to sell a few items on Poshmark. When I had issues, even after emailing the "Customer Service" address listed, no one ever responded. Basically the experience was a huge waste of my time. They obviously have no interest in creating a user friendly environment. There are a lot of creepy people trying to low-ball you at every turn. By the time you pay their fees, you would probably do better at a rummage sale.
I've been a shopper and a seller on Poshmark off and on for 3 years, and it's really changed for the worst. They now charge $5.95 for shipping and the huge amount of counterfeit purses is becoming ridiculous! For what they charge sellers why can't they hire someone to authenticate listings! I can go through and find dozens on any given day of fakes that are being sold as authentic. Very OBVIOUS knock offs! And the newest annoying trend of people listing under designer names is annoying as well ( for views) they say. I'd never buy from someone that dishonest and I've reported it several times to Poshmark support.
I purchased a dress that turned out to be altered. I have accepted an item without noticing it at first. 2 days later I contacted seller and they agreed to accept return, but when I submitted claim through Poshmark I was told that I was out of 72hour window and the sale is final. "our of courtesy" they gave me some Posh credits... There is no phone number to call, all communication is through email and they simply stopped responding. It blows my mind that selling platform cannot accommodate return request when BOTH parties (seller and buyer) are willing to proceed.
Do not download poshmark. I wish there was an option for no stars. Horrible unpleasant customer service. They don't care to be kind & welcoming nor solve problems. No customer service phone #. They allow "sellers" to get away with robbing from you. Don't spend a penny on anything poshmark. After years of buying & selling, being an ambassador & awesome selling reviews from my buyers, I'm happy & free to leave a toxic app. There's WAY BETTER out there! KARMA.
Received of obviously used and got lot of Moths moles on dress sold as Brand new! Return request but They sent me email saying I must return in 24 hours 3 days later they accept return! What kind site is this! And be careful if you don't makes sure carefully in 2 days after order delivered they will automatically close return request and no option for it even item is not as described. Incredibly trashy site!
Poshmark emailed me Monday, here was their response to my firm emails.
"Thank you for submitting your return for review. In these situations, it is difficult for our team to determine the order's original condition. Our team carefully reviews all case and user details to make the best decision we can.
We want to highlight that from our experience, most claims come from honest oversights from either party. However, we understand your concern and want to assure you that the appropriate action will be taken. Rest assured, all return cases are noted to prevent future issues.
We truly value you as a member of our community - as a courtesy, we have added your earnings to your balance for this order. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused."
I'm still upset that this lady got away with lying through her teeth, this will happen again, maybe not to me but to others. Taking a photo of the garment with the shipping label should be evidence enough to protect the seller.
I've sold over 100 items, I'm an "Ambasador," and I like to purchase crazy expensive clothes that I couldn't afford at full price. I've read a lot of stories where the buyer is scammed and the seller gets away with it. Well, I'm here complaining about the opposite situation.
Granted, this whole sale left me with $12 so it wasn't a big deal, but the principal of it all will irritate me for years to come. I posted a blouse, depicted all angles of the blouse, blouse sold. Everything on the blouse was obviously ok because there wasn't a hidden inch of fabric.
Buyer receives blouse and claims it was not as described. I read that and I was like ok, it probably doesn't fit and she wants to return it. That doesn't make me mad, as long as the garment is ok.
I open up the pictures and this lady has burnt several holes along the bottom. Maybe done with an iron or something. She claims that these HUGE BURN HOLES I covered up from my listing and I sold her a faulty item. Anyone with eyes would be able to see that was not the case. The state that the blouse was in would have NEVER made it on to my site. It would have gone to the garbage. I only sell my clothes, and ones that are in good condition. Despite all of the pictures, and the lady's admission of guilt, they STILL approved her return.
I am stubborn and I want Poshmark to make a change. I will continue to make complaints about this order. I'll probably refuse the return package. Enough is enough. I want seller protection. Sorry buyers, but I make sure I always buy from a trusted source and if I think any image is sketchy, I ask for new ones or find something else. Good sellers shouldn't be punished for the bad ones out there. It's easy to spot a bad seller, its impossible to know if you're selling to a bad buyer.
Absolutely horrible website. I created an account and spent hours listing my items, then got three emails about "unsupported items" for listing brand new with tags lingerie and hosiery. Then all my listings disappeared. I emailed about it and got a response about not selling worn underwear or socks for hygeine purposes, and that my account cannot be reinstated. But again these items were NEW with TAGS. Their AI may have flagged the listings, but if any human being bothered to check, they would see it was nothing lewd or unhygienic. They have specific categories for these items so obviously they are allowed! What a joke. No wonder this site has such awful reviews. See attached screenshots for exactly what was said. I understand they have certain guidelines and regulations but this is just absurd. Why create categories for items, then ban people for listing said items?
If a seller can't give you the brand name of an item it is generally cheap Chinese stuff. Sellers can buy these items from Poshmark wholesale site or Chinese sites. No brand names, in my case a sweater with no tags whatsoever. I received a sweater probably purchased for $1.99 and resold at $50. It went in the trash. Sometimes they're listed as "boutique" items. No brand name means literally junk no matter how good the picture looks.
Poshmark's way of settling disputes is very biased. They will most likely just side with whoever has more influence on their platform (usually the seller) as this is where they make their money from. Also, there is quite a bit of deception coming from their sellers. If you must use Poshmark, although I don't recommend as there are better platforms to use for online thrift, then I suggest you do extensive research into the item you are considering.
Check the very small print. No returns unless the product is not as advertised or something is wrong with it. The dress I purchased is terrible but now I'm stuck. Think I'll go back to shopping at more reputable stores
Bought 5 fake necklaces and ask to return same day. They refused by just saying I don't qualify! Their buyer protection is just alie. System always answer you are not qualified for refund and you can not escalate the claim!
Poshmark is a fraudulent, scamming sight I purchase a jacket that I never received. When you contact them you Get an email that returns the same message. Every-time an automated text. No customer service representative. The sellers never return your text. I don't know how they've haven't charged with any crime or how they are still in business. I had one experience. One to many. I lost $258.68. Do not deal with this company. They should have 0 up there one is way to kind
I sold some high end designer items on posh and I had almost $2000 still in my account and they stole all of it. Every single penny. I contacted them and they played the whole "I don't see anything on our end" yet I sent pictures and all the proof in the world. Horrible site. Never went back and encourage everyone to stay away from it unless you want to lose your items and your money. Along with several fakes sold on that site and other scammers. Not a place I will ever buy or sell from again!
I've been a member of postmark for a few weeks now and the first thing I ordered smelled awful, I've washed it twice and still smells. That's not Poshmark's fault though, My gripe is with the shipping and seller fees they charge. They take 20% off your sale and require a flat rate shipping charge of $6.49! Most clothing packages would cost around $2-$3 to ship, which means they are making 20% plus an additional $4-$5 off of every sale.
I signed up to see what this was. No such thing as customer service. I did not buy or confirm a purchase and was basically told too bad. After seeing other bad reviews, I would have never even checked out the site. Now I'm stuck with a so called purchase, and cannot reach anyone to resolve such a fraudulent transaction. Don't be fooled.
This selling site is bias. They allow fake items to be sold by some sellers and then accuse others of breaking their rules. I mean, at least eBay sticks to their very strict contracts! Not sporadically picking and choosing who to harass Is it because of the race of a person? I mean. Get real people. You get what u pay for and its just crazy to think otherwise.
Answer: You've got to be smart about shopping online these days. There are scammers wherever you go. That said, if you follow the guidelines and steer clear from trading, which most sites don't condone, then you'll be fine. I've purchased over 100+ items on poshmark and have sold over 90+ with complete success, with the exception of the one time I decided to trade... I've purchased low prices items before and received junk a couple times, but Poshmark ALWAYS refunded me! Maybe I'm super savvy, so here's what I always do: 1. Always checkout the seller's reviews. 2. Always ask if there are any flaws with used items. 3. Always ask if sizing is TTS: "true to size" 4. And most importantly, always ask if it's authentic (unless otherwise specified in the description) These 4 questions have always led me to receiving exactly what I wanted and at half the retail price! Plus, it's so much fun! I've made a considerable amount of income from it, while also adding a nice set of items to my own closet! Good luck out there!
Answer: I have received every item I have ever bought on poshmark. It arrived on time and was in the exact condtion as was promised and how it appeared in the pics.
Answer: Well yes she received the boots and probably didnt like them or they didnt fit etc. she is trying to get her money back by trying to re sell them for 70.00 however she would only get 56.00
Answer: It took a long time, but today Poshmark said they refunded the entire purchase amount plus shipping because the booties I ordered were misrepresented. It took About a month and a half. Two times they offered me small credits toward another Poshmark purchase. I filed a very well documented (12 pages of emails, screen shots of the ad and screen shots of dialogue between me and the seller, Kimology) fraud claim with my credit card company, and I emailed Poshmark's customer service to advise them. Two days later they told me they were refunding my money. We'll see if that happens. Poshmark's customer service is terrible, but persistence paid off. Best of luck to you!
Answer: Ask probing questions: non-smoker? Ever been dry cleaned? How worn is it? Cats? Etc
Answer: I have the total opposite reaction to this question. This mystery group that decides what the outcome will be is ridiculous. You can't talk to anyone, and my last attempt to get support through emails, took one month! Not a fan of learning who the good sellers are by trial and error...
Answer: She probably stalked the other seller's listing and found you commented on the item you purchased. So technically, yes they can see what you buy as long as you commented something on the purchased listing.
Answer: Be careful on posh because they do not have your back. There is a lot of scandalous people on posh. Be careful on ebay as well. I bought a Michael Kors set on ebay that was listed as excellent condition but it was stained and reeked of cigarette smoke. Ebay did not refund my money. They said since it wasn't listed as brand new with tags I was screwed. I was out $315. Who wants a handbag and wallet that smells like shit? I think twice before buying on Ebay since that experience. Shame on the dishonest seller and Ebay for allowing that behavior. Good Luck!
Answer: Have you sent an email to Poshmark support? I have before and they did respond
Answer: You unfortunately cannot return an item if it doesn't fit. It's best to ask the seller the measurements of the item, if they tell you the wrong measurements you can return it. If they will not give you the measurements then don't buy from them. I'm new to selling on Poshmark and I will allow people to return their items if they don't fit because I believe that's what's right, you will find other good sellers!
