I buy and sell on Poshmark no they are very helpful. There are lots of items and even though the items all come from 3rd party sellers, Poshmark stands behind the sales. Don't be afraid of buying here!
I signed up and immediately red flags were popping up in my mind. I spent 45 minutes trying get to find out how to delete the account but never found an answer. I uninstalled the app but will start over tomorrow trying to close the account. There are way too many assumptions being pressed on a new user way too fast for comfort.
I can not get website to respond to me. I just wanted seller information so I could ask is my item is ever going to be shipped or would like a refund. It has been more than a week and I have heard nothing.
Im hella mad these mfs dont evn return emails im tryna log in my log in aint workn but these mfs got my info tho... im pissed i dont know whn my shyt cumn. The sell mfn sellers dont speak unless u make there high $#*! stupid fukn offrr your offer... im so upset ppl dont waste yo time on these unprfessional mfs take yo money to the mall where u see n know u got wat u paid for.
POSHMARK has a ridiculous return policy and should be avoided. If the item you order does not fit, you cannot return it and get a refund. I order a pair of size 7.5 Via Spiga shoes. The brand obviously runs small - all my other size 7.5 fit fine but this pair ran very small and did not fit. Because the size was sold as a 7.5 and was marked 7.5 the return policy says I can't get a refund, even though it didn't fit. Now I am stuck with a too small pair of shoes. I will never do business with them again and I would encourage others to avoid them until they modify their overly restrictive, customer-unfriendly return policy.
I just started buying from postmark and have had very good luck buying name brand sunglasses. Prices are a fraction of what they are elsewhere. Merch arrives right away, in the condition specified.
Very satisfied.
While browsing through the Brands option, under 10. Deep, i was revolted to see at least 5 posts, possibly more (I couldnt continue to look at it) pics of people asking various prices for "services" or, "me." One was a picture of a young boy with user name hump87. This site needs to be reported IMMEDIATELY! (I had to choose a rating of 1 to 5 above). A rating is inappropriate for this degree of revulsion.
I cannot log into my account to accept my purchase even though I reset my password twice. I don't know what the issue is, but it may be username which I can't reset. I explained via email what the issue was, but the response from CS was to send me password reset instructions 24 hours later.
The item I received was fine, as pictured, but I did not receive the promised shipping notice until the day my item arrived and AFTER I complained via the only option for contact available: email. I guarantee you that no one responded directly. I will not shop here again. DO NOT purchase items through Poshmark.
BUYER BEWARE Poshmark does not stand by their return policy. It is non-existent along with their customer support. No phone line to dispute your claim. As others have said, basically sellers can sell anything they want with misrepresentation, false description and get away with it even when the order is not accepted, rather disputed. Poshmark will no longer get my business because they do not describe items accurately and do not stand behind their return policy. I will stick with ebay, a trusted and reliable online source for used goods. I am also going to turn them into the FBI, FTC and Better Business Bureau.
It's a discouraging place to shop on, to say the least.
I was searching for a specific bikini top to replace the same exact one I currently have and there were several in my size available from different sellers on Poshmark, all great prices and were supposedly like new. I ordered one.
Now, people keep saying there is no way to get a refund on Poshmark, but when I placed my order, I was told that your payment is not released to the seller unless you accept the order upon receiving it by going to the site and going through the process of accepting/releasing your payment to the seller. Obviously Poshmark does this because their seller reputation is not so great. So, you do have the chance to decide whether you want to keep your order or get your money back before it's too late. Its a good policy. But it's also a forewarning that you are highly likely to be dissatisfied with your order and want your money back. So it's up to you whether you want the hassle of ordering something that won't work out, but you CAN get your money back. Do not accept the order online unless you feel you got exactly what you paid for!
My experience with Poshmark has consisted of my order not being shipped within the 3-5 days the seller has to ship it. After 7 days Poshmark emails you saying that they have contacted the seller and not gotten a response, so you now have the chance to cancel your order and get your money back. I chose to do that and try ordering the bikini top from another seller. The same exact thing happened again. I did get my money back for the first order, and just a moment ago cancelled the last one to get my reimbursement, and will be checking to make sure it shows up in my bank account.
It hasn't been the worst experience for me because unlike several reviewers I didn't lose a cent. But it was a waste of time and I won't ever go on the Poshmark site again.
My piece of advice, FOLLOW THE GUIDELINES TO ENSURE YOU GET YOUR MONEY BACK. Do NOT accept an order unless it's exactly what you want in the condition you were told it would be in!
Customer service is none existent sellers can pretty much lie about their murchandise and refunds are none existent when you get ripped off by a seller.
I am a seller on Poshmark. I have a lot of namebrand good items listed at decent prices. The people on Poshmark who purchased items are thinking they are buying brand-new even though my item is Gently used. I am not a wholesaler I sell things that we are done with in my household and when it comes down to purchasing them they still make an offer of less than 50% off at some times. When it comes to rating by the customer and they don't ask questions they rate you poorly even though the item is a brand-name and is in good condition they then can contact customer service and file a complaint that it's not as listed and they receive their money back in the meantime you're sitting with no item you don't know what they've done to your item. I sold a bundle of items and the buyer filed a complaint wanted to return it and kept some of the items and nothing was done about it they take 20% of what you listed for customer service can improve and should be on the seller side not always the buyer side. The seller then is able to go in and change their rating as many times as they care to which is not fair also. I had a customer purchase another item she washed it and then complain there were strings and stains but never complained of it to start with so I'm wondering if really it wasn't my fault and gave me a poor rating because of what she did to my item. Just FYI ask questions asked for additional pictures if purchasing anything on Poshmark
I hate these people! Seller lied about color. Pants are navy but it said black in the description. Customer service has completely ignored my request for refund. I am filing a BBB complaint and asking my bank to get my money back. Poshmark=crooks!
Never use this site! Can't change your mind, can't find any way to successfully communicate with the company. Is' awful. I should have read the reviews first, they are true.
They sell items and they never get delivered. The sellers cannot be contacted aND it's like the company takes no responsibility for what is being sold or how it's being managed. I will never use this site again. I cannot believe they can even stay in business.
I tried once to deal with them and the seller sent the wrong item plus it was pure worn out trash! Not even fit for second hand store!
They do not respond and even had me have to ship the wrong item that had been sent to me onto the other buyer and didn't offer me anything for my time and trouble!
The are totally nonchalant about stealing and selling total garbage! They actually blkamed it on that they have a toddler?! So what? Then they promised they had something for me if I didn't get my item, what I finally received after 3 WEEKS of begging for my money back was not one penny more than what was mine to begin with!
Unless you like to be ripped off and hassled and waste your time stay away from these idiots!
Searching on the postmark site drives me crazy because every time you change one variable you have to reset the whole site. It cannot remember anything. Also on my iPad after viewing an item it takes me back to the beginning of page 1 instead of going where I left off! How hard can it be?
I purchased a hand bag and it was a fake. I contacted the salesman they said that I could return it. But parshmark never responded to my email concerning the purse. The salesman is willing to pay me money back. But parshmark DOESN'T CALL BACK at all...
I am very new to selling on Poshmark. This so called company offers absolutely no help to the seller or buyer. If a problem arises they offer no help and e-mail you a generic form letter saying they are experiencing a high volume of customer inquiries. They will get back you as soon as possible. Which is in 4 -7 days! With another generic e-mail. As I said I just started selling on Poshmark only 9 weeks ago. I have ran into 4 different issues. 2 similar to what other reviewers have stated. Please let me first say I have never smoked in my life. My husband does not smoke. Nobody has ever smoked in our home. The first problem a woman bought a "bundle" 3 dresses from me. A Free People dress brand new with tags. Another popular brand summer dress, again brand new with tags. And a Johnny Was dress worn twice. This order came to around $175. The buyer claimed they all smelled like smoke and had stains on all the dresses. So she took of all the tags and washed them. Then contacted Poshmark with her claims. She returned all 3 dresses to me. All of them a wrinkled mess And one with loose threads everywhere. I repeatedly contacted Poshmark explaining I and my husband do not smoke. Her claims were impossible. And finally said the buyer is lying. I also told Poshmark I am now out the money for the 3 dresses to. When they finally got around to getting ahold of me. Of course they sided with the buyer. But they wanted to give me a 15$ in Poshmark points? Great that helped and solved everything. I have had 2 other incidents with Poshmark with again no help or concern. We the sellers and buyers are what help keep this company in business. Why can't they help us? They have NO personal customer service. They refuse to get back to anyone in a timely manner. How and why are they staying in business? I apologize for the long "review" Thank you
Poshmark is full of scammers... selling replicas or items way more than retail price. I caught one girl selling a pair of $20. Glasses knockoff free people for $45 claiming retail was $200. I made a comment that she was lying and posted a link to freepeople website to prove it. Poshmark kicked me off claiming i was trying to do a nonpm transaction. They have no real customer service just some morons wbo take 20% if your sales and kick some people off. Yet allow others who harass lie and break the rules stay on. Dont use poshmark. Vinted takes 0% of your earning. Mercari only 10%. Plus on pm people give you bad ratings for the dumbest $#*!
Answer: You've got to be smart about shopping online these days. There are scammers wherever you go. That said, if you follow the guidelines and steer clear from trading, which most sites don't condone, then you'll be fine. I've purchased over 100+ items on poshmark and have sold over 90+ with complete success, with the exception of the one time I decided to trade... I've purchased low prices items before and received junk a couple times, but Poshmark ALWAYS refunded me! Maybe I'm super savvy, so here's what I always do: 1. Always checkout the seller's reviews. 2. Always ask if there are any flaws with used items. 3. Always ask if sizing is TTS: "true to size" 4. And most importantly, always ask if it's authentic (unless otherwise specified in the description) These 4 questions have always led me to receiving exactly what I wanted and at half the retail price! Plus, it's so much fun! I've made a considerable amount of income from it, while also adding a nice set of items to my own closet! Good luck out there!
Answer: I have received every item I have ever bought on poshmark. It arrived on time and was in the exact condtion as was promised and how it appeared in the pics.
Answer: Well yes she received the boots and probably didnt like them or they didnt fit etc. she is trying to get her money back by trying to re sell them for 70.00 however she would only get 56.00
Answer: It took a long time, but today Poshmark said they refunded the entire purchase amount plus shipping because the booties I ordered were misrepresented. It took About a month and a half. Two times they offered me small credits toward another Poshmark purchase. I filed a very well documented (12 pages of emails, screen shots of the ad and screen shots of dialogue between me and the seller, Kimology) fraud claim with my credit card company, and I emailed Poshmark's customer service to advise them. Two days later they told me they were refunding my money. We'll see if that happens. Poshmark's customer service is terrible, but persistence paid off. Best of luck to you!
Answer: Ask probing questions: non-smoker? Ever been dry cleaned? How worn is it? Cats? Etc
Answer: I have the total opposite reaction to this question. This mystery group that decides what the outcome will be is ridiculous. You can't talk to anyone, and my last attempt to get support through emails, took one month! Not a fan of learning who the good sellers are by trial and error...
Answer: She probably stalked the other seller's listing and found you commented on the item you purchased. So technically, yes they can see what you buy as long as you commented something on the purchased listing.
Answer: Be careful on posh because they do not have your back. There is a lot of scandalous people on posh. Be careful on ebay as well. I bought a Michael Kors set on ebay that was listed as excellent condition but it was stained and reeked of cigarette smoke. Ebay did not refund my money. They said since it wasn't listed as brand new with tags I was screwed. I was out $315. Who wants a handbag and wallet that smells like shit? I think twice before buying on Ebay since that experience. Shame on the dishonest seller and Ebay for allowing that behavior. Good Luck!
Answer: Have you sent an email to Poshmark support? I have before and they did respond
Answer: You unfortunately cannot return an item if it doesn't fit. It's best to ask the seller the measurements of the item, if they tell you the wrong measurements you can return it. If they will not give you the measurements then don't buy from them. I'm new to selling on Poshmark and I will allow people to return their items if they don't fit because I believe that's what's right, you will find other good sellers!
