I am so disappointed in Poshmark. When I have tried to ask questions etc. I have gotten an automated response I would NEVER recommend Poshmark!
The stuff they sell is crap and then when it's on your doorstep and you figure it out, there's no refunds
I had found a little outfit at a Marshall's that I wanted to purchase, but needed two for my twin granddaughters (there was only one at Marshall's). I stood in the store and did a Google search on my phone and was delighted to find exactly what I needed on Poshmark! I immediately created an account & placed the order (May 22). By the girls' birthday (June 3), the outfit from Poshmark still had not arrived, so I gave the one I had to the girls & have been waiting for the other one. Today (June 12) I received an email informing me that my order was cancelled! REALLY?!?! What the heck?!? The reason? "Delayed Order". What does that even mean?! Well, that was my first experience with Poshmark, and it will be my last. Once my refund is processed I will be removing my payment information and deleting my account. Stick with Amazon!
Upon attempting to deposit my $$ into my account that I made from the items I've sold. Poshmark said they said a verification to my e-mail with a code that I have to type in to set up my direct deposit. I never received ANY verification code. I have tried several times to have the e-mail re-sent and never received it. How on earth am I supposed to retrieve the money I've earned?!?!
I have also e-mailed Poshmark. Support and never received a single reply. Does anybody know how to file for fraud so that I can get my money back?
Thanks!
First purchase... I waited and waited for item... they couldn't locate seller... luckily they returned my money... but really needed the item... second... poor quality item... flaws not depicted in sellers pics. I notified them immediately I wanted to return and sent pics from my phone. I asked they send me mailing label so I can get my money back. They informed me later I had 72 hours to complete return request on a certain "return site". Not user friendly... told them I was having prob with that site... they went ahead and disbursed the funds to seller knowing I was unhappy and wanted to return the handbag. This is an online platform that obviously lacks integrity.
Stay away from this seller *******@laurakitten. She buys over 250$ worth of lipsticks from me and when she gets it she does a return stating that she got something different. The funny thing is She was the only buyer for that day and I shipped everything, now I am very afraid of using poshmark. They dont protect sellers at all. They believe the buyer who is a *******@laurnakitten everyone! Beware
I have had this happen to me 11 times, loosing 246 dollars... I make the order the seller gets money then cancels order... no refund. I had one purchase actually arrive the rest is a scam... stay away
Watch out for this lady with multiple accounts! She mails fraudulent checks from Maine from a company in Texas(check looks legit) but when trying to deposit or cash... check is No Good due to it being Fraudulent and/or Fictious(AKA she is printing fake checks). Stay Away! If I could give Negative 10 for this site I would!
Dear Poshmark,
I am writing in reference to an order gone wrong I ordered a pair of purple air force ones in size 9 but received a size 7 and I'm getting no response on the matter I will now join the many other unsatisfied customers on the review board and share my horrific story
There is 0 seller protection on this app. Poshmark claims items cannot be returned unless it's specifically misrepresented in the original listing. I recently had a case opened on an expensive Michael Kors purse (BRAND NEW) I sold. The buyer claims there were stains/marks on the item. It took over a week for the case to be reviewed and ultimately approved. I emailed them multiple times on how uncomfortable I was having my $200 purse just sitting in a random person's house. Of course I did not receive a reply. Their customer service is lacking to say the least. I eventually received the item back sans any "stains" or "marks"... HMMM... that's odd. I wonder what Photoshop program the buyer used to transpose stains on my purse. It also smelled of cigarette smoke which is absolutely disgusting given that I don't smoke. Oh, I also had a buyer return an item for a LOOSE STRING (that's the reason I was given) and Posh approved.
I also would like to mention how absolutely obnoxious their fees are. 20%? Really? I'm already marking the item down to appease any potential buyer and your scamming me out of 20% of my profit. It's funny how apps like Mercari and Vinted can get away with low fees. Even Ebay isn't as bad and that's a much larger platform.
Although I have 10,000 followers and have had the app for two years, I will slowly be closing my account down because I no longer feel comfortable selling ANYTHING on there.
Used PM for the 1st time last night to buy a LV product. Just went ahead and ordered it and paid with my CC. Got emails, saying product would be shipped and yada yada. Received an email today saying order was cancelled and the reason noted was - other. Other? Yes folks, that's all the explanation I got. Called my CC company and was told I'm well within my balance. The price was lower than anywhere else but that's not up to me, I didn't set the pricing. I just made what I thought was a legitimate purchase. So this was either sellers remorse, or just bait for an unsuspecting buyer. Will never use this site again and wanted to warn others of the fishy business practices this company apparently practices.
You don't answer emails or refund for items not received. Please send my money. How can I leave a review when I'm honest with one star and you tell to stay away!
Don't buy from this seller as she can't read! I made a bid on an item but she never got back to me plus she charged me without even asking if it was fine by me. Then she had the nerve to send me a e-mail telling me how dishonest I was... REALLY? If anyone was dishonest it was her. Not only that but she lies. DON'T EVER buy from this seller unless you want to be screwed!
Nicole pospisil is a Poshmark scammer please make sure you cancel all orders purchased by them. They will steal the item

No controls for scammers. I could not even find the reviews/feedback for sellers before you purchase. I do know to BE SURE to look for when the seller was last on line. Many shops abandoned and Poshmark does not delete within a reasonable time of inactivity. I almost purchased from a seller who had not been on line since April of 2016. Make sure you send a message and ask every question from the seller regarding an item before purchase. PAY THROUGH PAYPAL FOR PROTECTION WHEN POSHMARK IGNORES YOU. THEY WILL GET ACTION. I am sure there are honest sellers on the site. But have found most are not up front of honest about the listings even if you do get the product. BUYER BEWARE----BUYER BEWARE!
After placing an order on their website having the payment go through and emailing regarding the shipment time of my order I was not only given no answers but told after 10 days that my order had been canceled due to bundle with other what that means to me is that they sold it elsewhere and then cancel my order which I can't confirm but that's my opinion because to me that is the most rude excuse for canceling an order without even contacting the buyer first I don't recommend anyone buy from the site as you're not guaranteed to get your order
I recently purchased a handbag from the seller kelkochan on poshmark. She did not ship my item to me. After 8 full days, I hadn't heard any update from her on tracking or anything else, despite poshmark contacting her to remind her to ship, and after I sent her multiple messages to please send my handbag. She ignored every message. A very rude and untrustworthy seller.
I ordered an MK tote description said new with tags I received the tote it was clearly used in the attached wristlet I found camera lenses a clip a drawstring bag and a BIC lighter. I have made effort upon effort to get instructions to return this Handbag for a refund at this point no one from PoshMark will even respond to my emails any longer... I also called the Redwood City California number and left a message did not receive a call back or any kind of response from Poshmark... my advice don't purchase from any company that does not have a helpline where you can actually speak with a customer service representative... I believe this is intentional on the part of PoshMark it's easy to disregard your customer complaints if you don't actually ever have to talk to them... I would never do business with this company again and I will go out of my way to tell anyone and everyone I come in contact with not to do business with this company... their customer service motto should be if you order it you're stuck with it... regardless of how badly the seller misrepresents the product!
I love shopping online! I've built an extensive international wardrobe just sitting at home... vintage Doc Martens, gorgeous silk Betsey Johnson dresses, the coolest All Saints t-shirts. Unique designer pieces I could never otherwise afford... and Poshmark has a ton of it at fantastic prices.
But... you can't communicate with your seller except through the site, so, if they only have one thing (like some pearl pink Chanel sunglasses for seventy bucks...) they are unlikely to check on "comments" and "offers" and you're just out of luck. Same with Admin; they are unresponsive, will not help you communicate, and if your seller just decides not to ship, they'll simply cancel your order out of hand without even trying to sort it out.
What kind of horrorshow is this? You love it, you make an offer, offer is accepted, seller doesn't ship... boom. Contract is void.
Hate it. Hate it. Hate it. Waste of time and hugely disappointing.
Appears as if I m going to have to get tough and file mail fraud against them. I submitted a redemption request 5/25 and still do not have my money. And for a near $100 profit... might not be to some, but that's a lot of $$$ to me right now. Email says they've escalated to their 'internal team'. Curious if anyone else is having this issue.
UPDATE: funds finally came through after multiple comms; however, I am NOT happy that I was out my merchandise for around 12 days before rcvng payment. Gee, wonder if you'd get an order from Amazon if you informed them it would be 12 days before payment would arrive... I think not. They didn't even offer me anything to try and make it right, no site credit, nothing. Have, to say though, as response to some here that complain about long CS response time, they got back to me w/in several hours, so perhaps have beefed up staff. I'll stay for now, but am moving to vinted. Com as well... Tradesy is also an option, but their commission is on high side too. Great merchandise here, & some great sellers... I am one, but as with anything you have to do your homework... good luck!
Answer: You've got to be smart about shopping online these days. There are scammers wherever you go. That said, if you follow the guidelines and steer clear from trading, which most sites don't condone, then you'll be fine. I've purchased over 100+ items on poshmark and have sold over 90+ with complete success, with the exception of the one time I decided to trade... I've purchased low prices items before and received junk a couple times, but Poshmark ALWAYS refunded me! Maybe I'm super savvy, so here's what I always do: 1. Always checkout the seller's reviews. 2. Always ask if there are any flaws with used items. 3. Always ask if sizing is TTS: "true to size" 4. And most importantly, always ask if it's authentic (unless otherwise specified in the description) These 4 questions have always led me to receiving exactly what I wanted and at half the retail price! Plus, it's so much fun! I've made a considerable amount of income from it, while also adding a nice set of items to my own closet! Good luck out there!
Answer: I have received every item I have ever bought on poshmark. It arrived on time and was in the exact condtion as was promised and how it appeared in the pics.
Answer: Well yes she received the boots and probably didnt like them or they didnt fit etc. she is trying to get her money back by trying to re sell them for 70.00 however she would only get 56.00
Answer: It took a long time, but today Poshmark said they refunded the entire purchase amount plus shipping because the booties I ordered were misrepresented. It took About a month and a half. Two times they offered me small credits toward another Poshmark purchase. I filed a very well documented (12 pages of emails, screen shots of the ad and screen shots of dialogue between me and the seller, Kimology) fraud claim with my credit card company, and I emailed Poshmark's customer service to advise them. Two days later they told me they were refunding my money. We'll see if that happens. Poshmark's customer service is terrible, but persistence paid off. Best of luck to you!
Answer: Ask probing questions: non-smoker? Ever been dry cleaned? How worn is it? Cats? Etc
Answer: I have the total opposite reaction to this question. This mystery group that decides what the outcome will be is ridiculous. You can't talk to anyone, and my last attempt to get support through emails, took one month! Not a fan of learning who the good sellers are by trial and error...
Answer: She probably stalked the other seller's listing and found you commented on the item you purchased. So technically, yes they can see what you buy as long as you commented something on the purchased listing.
Answer: Be careful on posh because they do not have your back. There is a lot of scandalous people on posh. Be careful on ebay as well. I bought a Michael Kors set on ebay that was listed as excellent condition but it was stained and reeked of cigarette smoke. Ebay did not refund my money. They said since it wasn't listed as brand new with tags I was screwed. I was out $315. Who wants a handbag and wallet that smells like shit? I think twice before buying on Ebay since that experience. Shame on the dishonest seller and Ebay for allowing that behavior. Good Luck!
Answer: Have you sent an email to Poshmark support? I have before and they did respond
Answer: You unfortunately cannot return an item if it doesn't fit. It's best to ask the seller the measurements of the item, if they tell you the wrong measurements you can return it. If they will not give you the measurements then don't buy from them. I'm new to selling on Poshmark and I will allow people to return their items if they don't fit because I believe that's what's right, you will find other good sellers!
