This is a scam site, I tried to buy a League of legends account like 8 times, each time charging to my bank $1.00 or under. Everytime I tried i converted nzd to usd and sent that amount and its not valid. For example, my bank statement will say its been charged $1.15, which ill have to convert to usd, so $0.79usd. But when i type in the amount it says its not the correct amount, to prove this I tried to purchase another account but this time I didnt convert from nzd to usd and same thing, unvalid amount but yet i was still charged. This is an absolute scam as I tried both ways usd to nzd and nzd to usd 8 times just incase. I've added a camera shot from my pc as i cant screenshot my bank. F*%K You and your scam site. I hope you go to hell. Good day everyone else.
I made an order for an account, they just started asking me for 100 things to prove my identity, I do it and they want something else I do it and they want it and so on for the 2nd day they don't give me the account and the money is not returned I think it's not fast at all and I don't know if it will happen at all. Even 1 star i think they are very hopeful to read this
I'm not hiding anything
I don't really recommend it, some time ago I bought another account but now I don't know what they did, it's awful
I've made 3 buys from this site, and every single time I am forced with a stupid verification process. They require; a photo id, a bank statement, a selfie holding your ID/bankcard (as if you have 3 arms), able to show USD value on your statement even if you live internationally and unable to do so. They expect you to call your bank outside of hours that you can because you're consistantly working beyond it. Stupid card "vetting" processes. One site moderator will approve you, the other will not because they are in a foul mood. Instantly takes your money, forces a 5 day wait for a refund.
Beyond a joke.
Unable to show images because they are all lengthy emails.
Hi Owen,
I'm sorry if you keep getting asked to verify, but I assure you it has nothing to do with any foul moods. Our agents do not take this personally and I hope you don't as well. You may need to verify again if you change payment methods or if you're using Google Pay. Google Pay secures your payment account by masking your credentials and we are given a new number every time you use it. My suggestion is to use your card directly and have that verified.
Best regards,
Richard
Do not purchas after seller protection as it does nothing. I had an account reclaimed and am unable to access it. After the dispute and screenshots they sided with the seller. So buy at your own risk but there is no point in buying the after seller protection cause it does nothing. It's a shady business with some shady sellers. So far I've had two accounts reclaimed and one by the seller named
Cy1i0.
Hello Gabriel,
Dispute claims should come with compelling proof because without this, it will be unfair for the other user and users can simply ask for a refund. There is a point with getting protection for the account as you still have 346 days to dispute this. You can continue to send us evidence during this time frame, and I suggest you do. Once compelling evidence is provided, we can reverse the case and still provide you refund — provided, again, that you send it before the 346 days are up.
Regards,
Richard
I had a convensation with an individual and everything is smooth. I provided my info and when he had bought my account. He got it instantly and while hes enjoying the account I provided im still here waiting on my funds. I asked customer service "How much longer do I have to wait"? I still have not recieved any responds from them. Also They decided to deduct 66.44 from the payment I still didn't see. Why Take so much in the first place? And I want to know when will i be able to get my payment? Order number: *******.
I'll update it if its all taken care of.
Hello Ventshe,
Order 8730114 was sold with 30 days protection and sellers are the ones who set this up. You can set up this protection in 7,15, or 30 days intervals which will extend the disbursement time by that amount — this is your personal protection for the buyer that nothing untoward will happen with the order. After this period, the protection expires during which you are no longer liable for the account.
The buyer currently has 26 more days. This cannot be expedited because you offered your buyer this protection period and he/she has to receive it in full.
To avoid this next time, offer the order with after-sale protection and select "no" in the selection of the 7,15, and 30 day options.
66.44 was the service fee; the way this was framed in the review was like we took this out unsolicitedly. Please note this is the service fee for using the site, this was not taken against your will.
There is nothing wrong with this order and you'll just need to wait for the protection to end. Let me know if you have any further inquiries, Ventshe.
Best regards,
Richard
These guys are the worst, i spent over 400 dollars over there, and never seen any of my merchandise, they seem to be pretty confused in terms of what they are actually doing, and my inbox was floded with email from their help desk requesting me and that, and pictures. At some point i just gave up and lost all the patience i had to spare them so im just gonna go to a different site that i used who work really well...
Dont use playerauctions they are horrible
Hello Marc,
Your payment was due for verification. You were not flooded, you were responded to by our agents. You received 2 verification emails because you placed 2 orders. The idea is to verify your payment account first and once you're able to do that, your other orders will be good to go since you will be using an already verified payment account. We had no confusion on the matter, we informed you that the documents we received were incorrect so we responded to you, then you never replied back.
The situation is falsely made to be terrible, but in actuality, you did not use the service — you canceled it and nothing untoward happened. You were asked once to verify per order, the succeeding replies were to help you with what to do. The buyer always has the choice to submit the documents or not.
Regards,
Richard
I ordered previously from this website and the product was delivered to me no problem. Took less than 20 minutes. However the second time I ordered I was prompted with a payment verification step that was asking for my government id, a picture of my credit card, a passport and a picture of my bank statement purchase. This website is clearly a scam. DO NOT GIVE ANY OF THIS INFORMATION OUT!
Hi Jacob,
We have this in place to authenticate payments being made to us. To combat fraud or theft, we need to establish the ownership of the payment account being used. You say it's clearly a scam, but you do not have proof that something untoward happened. You won't be able to find proof because this is NOT a scam. Reviews should speak about actual experiences and not of suspicions. I understand this is concerning you but, again, this is not a scam.
Regards,
Richard
Easy to use and very fast customer service! Highly recommend for players who don't have time to grind all day with real life activities. It helps you stay ahead with your friends in different work fields
Thanks a lot for the wonderful review, Dunder. That's a very nice way to put it and I'm glad our service is able to do this for you.
Have been a customer with playerauctions for almost a decade now and have been a verified member since the beginning. Trying to make an order with my verified credit card that I've been using for many years. These orders are being flagged for "verification" without any justification or reasoning. Then being stronghold-ed by their compliance team to jump through various hoops providing multiple pictures of IDs, facial pictures etc... They will continue to do this even though the account is already verified. This is suppose to be a one-time verification yet they will continue flagging your account then FORCE you to continue to send selfie pics, picture of IDs and credit cards and stronghold you. If you do not comply or play nice or question them in anyway they will immediately cancel the order and you'll be stuck with a pending transaction on your credit card.
Hi Alex,
I'm sorry if you had to go through verification multiple times. You are right that this should only be done once per payment account. The reason you are asked to do this again is because there is a change with the payment information. For example, even if you use the same card you used before to pay, but now it's behind something like Skrill, it is still treated as a new payment account so it will require verification.
I apologize again for the hassle. Please double-check your email/tickets for the same approved payment account and use that in the future. Kindly note that Google Pay creates a randomized number every usage so that doesn't apply. I recommend using card payment directly; once that is verified, you should be good to go.
Best regards,
Richard
Fast and reliable.
There was no issue with the transaction. The gold arrived in a couple hours, in about 20 mails.
Thank you very much for the kind rating for us, Eddie.
Stay away! Don't buy accounts from them. There is 0 support and they do nothing against clear scammers. Bought an account of someone for valorant, after getting it I changed all the info, added two factor authentication, changed the password, still had access to to the (fake) original account, and paid extra for their protection…. Within 2 days I received emails saying someone was trying to get in the account, so went and checked everything and no emails in the "original email" provided and within 4 days I lost the account. Meaning he never gave me the actual email and that would of be been the only way the actual original owner would of got the account back. I screen shotted everything and sent them a dispute and I could not of provided any more evidence, was the easiest open and close case for anyone with a brain and not only did they side with the scammer seller, they provided 0 reasoning as to why and what I could of done to further prove he's a scammer. The funniest part is this guy has 4 reviews and one of the other ones literally said the same thing that was happening to me….
Hi Cameron,
We received your review on one of our other channels so I will be pasting my response there over here for consistency:
-----
First off, let me assure you that you may still send evidence after this. You paid for after-sale protection so your case can still be fully supported.
I'm afraid without the correct evidence, we cannot move forward with a refund. Please know that the evidence is the buyer's responsibility in a case becase as a buyer, you will be the one to know what happened and idea is for you to show the seller may have been at fault for these.
Our doors remain open and since you already have a ticket with us, 944790, you may send any new evidence you have on that ticket so our team may review the case again.
Best regards,
Richard
On January 14 I tried to buy an account for mobile legends and paid for it, after the debit on January 14 more than half a month passed and I don't have it back until this date in my account, the cancelation was made on January 15 because they wanted more private information for verification so I canceled. I just want my refund already called my bank so there is no refund, no transaction in transit no nothing about my money. Soon it will be a month and this thief called Playerauctions will not gave back my money.
Hello QQ,
We need the order ID for this so we can check. Could you please edit your review and include it? We have no way to trace the concern without that. Thank you in advance.
Best regards,
Richard
My question is, do people really fall for this? Send me a selfie along with your government issued identification card!
Like, what? All I can say is, "You've been warned"! I'm waiting on my refund as of now. Never, Ever again.
Hello Zaylow,
Rest assured, your payment will be fully and automatically refunded.
As for the verification, we have this in place to combat fraud and theft. I hope you understand, but online payments always come with a form of risk. To avoid fraud or unauthorized payments, we have to determine the identity of buyers and their authorization for the payment account being used. This ultimately protects YOUR payment account from possible theft.
Best regards,
Richard
Don't waste your time or money placing an order with playerauctions.com. They debited money from my account, requested a photo of me and my ID, which I provided, and then deleted the account I created and banned me. I haven't received a refund yet!
Hi Sandra,
I'm sorry but your order was canceled and your account was closed because the person on the account is found to be underaged. We require users to be 18 or above to be able to have legal IDs and form binding contracts with us. Refunds take 2-5 business days (only weekdays are counted) and you should receive your funds back this coming week.
Best regards,
Richard
The company has some bs "security measures" in place now that now means payment is "declined" which means they charge you then provide a refund at some point in the future.
I've tried using Apple Cash, two credit cards, a debit card and a couple other methods and the only one that works is Coinbase pay.
The issue with Coinbase is most items on their site are sold for $5-$10, which means you have to pay a $6 network fee on the purchase of $5, in addition to paying Playerauctions fees on the item.
Can your add multiple items to a cart from the same seller to mitigate this issue and make the $6 fee less impactful? Nope. You need to pay this fee with every item purchased on their site.
They constantly refer you to Coinbase pay if your go to them with issues, but paying $13 for something being sold for $5 just isn't worth it. Doing that 6+ times is a ridiculous use of funds and not a feasible option for buyers.
Their customer service refuses to present a solution along lines of actual verification, and they rely fully on a defunct security system that must profit purely on the fast acquisition and holding of funds for 2-5 days.
The only solution I've been given by them is to "buy it again" which doesn't work. I've been charged and will hopefully now be refunded for something like 30 repeat purchases at their request.
I used to think the site was legitimate, but maybe this is their true colors showing.
Sub par customer service and a site that doesn't work as a merchant POS.
Of 56 purchase attempts, maybe six went through.
Hi Dimitri,
I am sorry for the hassle. I checked and your usual payment account used on the site is just temporarily restricted. I'm afraid our system has received too many payment attempts so as a security precaution, it's temporarily locked. It can be used again by January 16 (7 days from the last attempt, which is January 9). Coinbase was only being offered as an alternative, and you're right that due to their fees, it's impractical for smaller orders so I suggest waiting out the temporary lockout period to be able to use your old payment account again.
Best,
Richard
*WARNING*
If you are under 18 and a gamer you cannot transact on PlayerAuctions. (Lol)
Its buried in theirTerms they know nobody reads - working as intended. They will verify your bank acct with micro-deposits, email, even allow a small sale and then... bam.
They will happily hold your funds on any purchase. For everyone to earn interest on of course. Similar to the racket EBAY runs nowadays... Any excuse to hold.
No effort was made AT ALL by playerauctions to complete the sale, even after harvesting an over 18s information. That process was purely to invalidate the sale. Begs the question wether all the accounts listed for sale actually exist.
If so, I feel sorry for the seller, who was protected from getting a sale and probly isnt even aware. No share of the interest either I bet lol.
Very poor experience. Best to avoid, unless you like your money going in circles through the banking system, whilst receiving no goods.
Hi there,
I am very sorry but as you've said, users below 18 are not allowed to make payments and verify with us due to the binding contract nature of the process. Declined payments are fully and automatically refunded back.
Best,
Richard
I have ordered off of this site 20 times not and every single other time they make you verify your proof of identity. I dont know why i am so stupid to keep going back here just because im saving 4 dollars as it always takes days to receive the order i make. They tell you how to verify your identity but every time you send them the info they want they always say its not good enough and always just keep running you in a loop. They have horrible customer service and i promise you... you do not want to buy from this site.
Hi Tyler,
I am very sorry for the inconvenience you had. We thank you for your efforts to meet our document requirements but unfortunately, some of them were incorrect. During payment, however, the offer was already closed by the seller and this is unfortunately outside of our control. My sincerest apologies about this, Tyler.
Best,
Richard
So basically I went through 4 hours+ on this ID verification process. I should have given up, because this is a massive invasion to my privacy. If Paypal and MOST other payment gateways go without this form of verification, they can too.
What of any employees that see this and want to use it for bad reasons? What's stopping them? What if their systems get hijacked? It's not uncommon, research data breaches and come back to me and tell me that it isn't a common issue. It's factual.
Playerauctions will come back and call these baseless or accusations, but it's common sense. There is nothing secure about sending multiple pictures of your identification over E-mail, if Playerauctions cares about the security of your privacy, they will stop this nonsense.
Lastly, I purchased an account. The account looks suspicious and after reading a few reviews that have discussed this subject i've come to the conclusion that even though i've purchased Playerauction's After-sale protection (player-guardian), it seems as though Playerauction sides with the seller, so with the account looking suspicious and this fact i've decided to just try and refund despite that whole long process.
I would go ahead and keep the purchase if they actually protected buyers. They say that you need to provide evidence to support your claim as a buyer (as the seller has to as well), but answer me this Playerauctions. If the seller reclaims the account and the buyer no longer has access to the account, how are they supposed to provide evidence if they no longer have access to the account? What kind of evidence can they provide?
I don't believe that Playerauction's insurance protects you for this reason - for account purchasing.
TL; DR? Do you respect your privacy? Don't buy from Playerauctions. Do you want to lose the money you've spent? Don't buy accounts. I'm afraid you'll have to make your own and grind them out.
If Playerauctions can convince me otherwise, or if they stop demanding this nonsensical ID verification process of me, I may continue to purchase from them. But otherwise, i'm good.
Hi Jonny,
We also replied to you on your other review, and as we mentioned, the verification process aims to validate your identity and authorization to use the payment; this is to avoid fraud or theft. We treat the documents confidentially, never share them, and delete them after some time.
Your current order is in a dispute and you are in the right step by disputing this; we urge you to continue communications there until this can be resolved.
Best regards,
Richard
Dont use this website im just asking for refund if im not getting refund tomorrow. Im going in bank after that by police i cant tolerate. Someone to make me stupid
Hi Val,
I'm sorry for the concern the 2 orders have caused. I checked and you already canceled these. Refunds take 2-5 business days and I urge you to contact your bank/payment processor and ask them to process the funds. We have not received the funds for this because the payment didn't reach authorization; these funds are held with your bank and they need to release it back to you.
Rest assured, this is processed automatically but it would help if you can contact your bank about this.
Best regards,
Richard
The website advertises that you will receive the products "within 20 minutes," what they don't tell you is they will have you waiting there for HOURS after they take sensitive information of yours first: real life pictures of your face, real life pictures of your credit/debit cards with your face, real life pictures of you with your driver license, and pictures of your BANK STATEMENTS. Everything necessary to make online scams.
This is done AFTER they charge your account. Not before, but AFTER THEY HAVE YOUR MONEY. For what? A successful purchase here would've save me around $10 on 4 items and I would've had to wait HOURS to get it after sending super sensitive information over the internet.
Daybreak asks for NONE of this and gives you your items IMMEDIATELY. I've called my bank to make a payment dispute because they have already received my cash. Makes sense PlayerAuctions has not responded to my questions or concerns as they have been paid already. I got scammed by a PlayerAuctions "compliance" worker named "Davon."
Its not worth saving the $3 per Krono to go through this.
Answer: You don't want to buy from them.
Answer: Just don't use their service. Trust me, you will save a lot of your nerves and time if you don't.
Answer: How to get started. Click the URL bar and type anything other than your terrible website. Unless you want to be scammed to lose time and money, in which case go ahead and continue using playerauctions.com.
Answer: You got scammed! So did I. PlayerAuctions is nothing but a SCAM!
Answer: Maybe this will help: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Playerauctions Regardless they have terrible Customer Service. Their english is not proficient to be doing business in the US and their work ethic is just terrible. It's a shame that they show the stereotypical greed of chinese who just does it for money and doesn't care what gets in the way and cuts too many corners to be acceptable to be called "The world’s safest player to player trading marketplace for WOW Gold, Runescape Gold, Guild Wars 2 Gold, ArcheAge Gold, CS: GO items and much more."
Answer: Don't do business with this company, they stole my money after my account was recovered merely a month later -- I'll be reporting them to the BBB after tonight.
Answer: Hello Mikael. Could you please try accessing the site again on a different browser? It might have just been a temporary website server issue, and this might be sorted out already. If you continue to have problems with this, please take a screenshot of where there seems to be an issue, then send it along with your username to support@playerauctions.com.
Answer: Absolutely. As a buyer, your payment is secure with us and will not be released to the seller until you click confirm on our website, once you have decided that the item/gold/account that you bought is good and complete. If you find any problems with the sale, you may dispute it and if the sale you received is not as described, you will be issued a refund. As a seller, your payment will be released once buyer is satisfied with the sale, and this guarantees that you will receive payment as opposed to transacting blindly on the internet with someone you don't know. In the case of disputes, if you've proven that you were able to deliver the sale successfully and as described, you will get the payment. Please note that we enact the User Assumption of Risk as stated in the front page of our website, in that we cannot guarantee that all trades will be free from risks. However, by carefully securing your order and being wary of scamming attempts, together with our team's efforts to secure an order, this can be thoroughly mitigated. I can elaborate more if you'd like, just post another question, Sabrina.
Answer: They will make sure you don't get refunded. Be sure of that. There sites a massive scammed just Google them...
Answer: Hello Elaby. Fabricating fake feedback is not "unintentional". The same goes with creating multiple accounts and faking the registration country/location. Disbursements are held for the security of the buyers if the seller is found to have committed several offenses.
Hello Dian,
You were asked to verify your payment account for this order as part of our anti-fraud efforts; we need to validate the person's ownership of the payment account. The "100 things" is a gross exaggeration made to look the process to be awful, we just need 4 documents and it's always the buyers choice if he/she would like to submit them and continue with the order.
Not sure why you would want to look for a refund because this order proceeded properly. You also did not file any disputes.
Best regards,
Richard
