Planterina

I have yet to receive a refund or a response About why my plants came with a bacterial infection. Black spots all over the leaves and I paid a lot for these plants. I got one response with none response with no explanation that said will give you a discount and then I've never heard from them since. I'm very disappointed because from such great videos on YouTube Amanda makes it seem like her company will really take care of you and send you out quality stuff. But that's not the case. I'm waiting for my refund and I will never buy from them again. There are other nurseries that give great customer service and quality plants

I've ordered from them a few times and it's been nothing but a hassle. The customer service is terrible. I pay for cold weather shipping and they show up dead. They refuse to send replacements. A problem with your plants? Not their problem. As long as they get your money, they don't care. Photo of my most recent plant.

I ordered 5 small plants. Super excited they are beautiful. Even have some new growth. I have not had any issues what so ever. They were ordered. They came perfectly packed and now it is up to me to keep them thriving! I'll order again

Received first of two orders! Shipment came from East to West in record time, 4 plants packaged perfectly and carefully! All four plants look to be healthy and happy! So excited to get get them! I was sadly concerned after reading all the reviews but my worry was for nothing! I WILL ORDER MORE!

If this company treats their customers like they treat the potential vendors please run. We have never been treated as badly or rudely as we were today (3/18/22) In 35 years of doing business. We sale to many other
Forms like this and we under stand why this company has poor reviews.

Reading all the negative reviews, I held my breath! I got an email with a sale code the day after my rather large order. Since it had not shipped yet, I emailed to ask if they would be willing to offer it me after the fact. I got an email back the same day saying they had refunded my card for the difference of the sale coupon!
On Monday my plants shipped, all the way to California. I had asked for heat packs. The 3 big boxes arrived on Friday, lined with silver reflective bubble wrist and a heat pack. The plants were super healthy, no soils flying around in the box, and the sizes were worthy of large and extra large.
I am a very happy customer!

I ordered a couple of plants. Based on the videos on YouTube I was completely sold. They came fairly fast and customer service contact with me pretty quickly based on the reviews I was immediately wanted to refund my money because of the reviews and lack of confinement I developed,,,by that time they all ready was shipped out in a timely manner. The plants came all the one piece. None of them are damage, but they are small for the price I paid oooh they got me on that one lol other than that I'm quite satisfied/ yeah with my experience. I can't believe the prices they want for tiny plants! They offer 1/2 price for purchasing 2 or more plants, but the 1/2 price is expensive. I thought maybe since they are hard to find, I would try this once and see what I get. NOPE, when they came they were tiny and in NO Way worth the price I paid. I had trouble with the packing. Sent them a note and got a response to watch the unpacking video. That video would only be useful to a moron. It was not similar to my problem whatsoever. They still were not too concerned. After waiting a week I finally decided to just "bulldoze" my way through the packaging and finally got it opened. I was really hoping for something more with the plants. I have tried to water them, but they added some "stuff" (I have no idea how to describe it) that I have no idea what is that is covering the soil. Water runs off it and I guess I will just have to remove it also. I hope the plant does not just fall apart when I remove the stuff. NOT HAPPY!

I've at times had hesitation with purchasing plants online. It's always been a hit or miss, mostly a miss. Planterina is a hit for me. A little on the expensive side, but you get what you pay for. The picture below is a week after the delivery of my Peace Lily and Philodendron. Packaging also included bamboo stakes and no gnats!

I was excited to receive my plants but the package delivered from Planterina has been severely damaged and many of the plants I bought have been damaged as well. I have bought over 100+ plants online, and I've never seen plants packaged this poorly before. I love her videos online and have been a fan but I will never be purchasing from this website again. Buyer beware!

Since Covid & medical issues, I have increased my plant passion and have ordered a great many from Planterina. Mostly Small Sizes. I have been quite happy with the results, but not lately. Especially this winter. Damaged plants - soggy wet, etc. The company has credited my credit card, but the inconvenience has become annoying. I like the free shipping, but now they are charging for heat packs - other companies do not charge for heat packs. Perhaps it is not a good idea to order in the winter, if one lives in the NorthEast. I have reduced my orders significantly in the last few months. I also notice that "Amanda" is touting specific plants each time now, to drum up business. Perhaps it is working for the company, but quality and reliability shouldn't suffer. I am now looking at other Plant Companies for purchase, sorry to say.

The plant is not as large as I expected. It is definitely not hi color golden. The only reason I ordered it was to get a very variegated large pothos. That is definitely not what I received. Extremely disappointed!

I'm an experienced plant person and every single plant I ordered from this company has brown spot! Now concerned the brown spot will spread to my other valuable plants

I am not easily impressed and usually don't write reviews but the quality of the plants I just received from Planterina is so amazing I felt I owed them a positive review! I was a bit concerned with shipping from Florida to So California but my plants arrived in beautiful condition! They are very full and lush! Ive been looking for a nice Maui Queen in my area and even high end nurseries didn't have good looking plants. So happy I decided to order from Planterina! It was totally worth spending a bit more for top quality! Amanda's YouTube videos have taught me so much so I felt they were a trustworthy source and I was right! Thank you Planterina! You are awesome! :D

After writing the prior review, and given the refund/replacement ultimately received + my personal belief in second-chances, I ventured a second order with Planterina. Once more, plants arrived in miserable condition (cold damaged despite purchased protection + 3-day shipping, broken due to poor/restrictive packaging). This time, replacement for a $250 plant was refused and no resolution until BBB was contacted. Shocking.

I had purchased 2 orders from Planterina (my first orders ever), 3 plants in each order on 9/10/22 and expected them to ship in 2-5 business days like the website says. They did not. After giving them AMPLE time and not receiving any updates on my orders I reached out on 9/18/22 asking what going on, it's going on 2 weeks.

They did reply saying they are short staffed but working through orders. So I gave the benefit of the doubt and waited. I saw that they shipped it that day so I was excited. It was supposed to arrive on that Thursday 9/22/22 however I woke up to a delivered scan in North Branch Minnesota. I live in Arizona. Needless to say after calling UPS and confirming the wrong delivery I immediately requested a refund on both orders. So now I'm out of plants and money while I wait for the return to go through.

Watching the professionalism of Amanda from Planterina on YouTube and the service I received from her company are 2 totally different things. I am super disappointed and dissatisfied with services from them. Wish I would have read the reviews before ordering. The only good thing I guess is that when I requested a refund they did it promptly. My assumption is this must happen a lot.

I normally don't write bad reviews. It takes a lot for me to, but I was so surprised at the careless process and execution I felt I needed to state my experience. Won't be ordering from there again. If the shipping is this terrible I'm concerned for the type of quality that I would have gotten in my plants.

I ordered 10 plants and half of them are struggling, most of them either lacked proper roots or had been uprooted :( will not buy from them ever again

Like many others who have posted reviews here, I received dead plants from planterina. I received 2 dead Hoyas as part of a 2 free plant promotion when you spent $50. When I contacted planterina, they said they would not refund me or provide replacement because the Hoyas were the "free" plants in the promotion. Like other reviewers here, I find it interesting that the "free" plants came dead while the other came ok (still really small, but at least they were alive). Such a shame because I used to really enjoy watching Amanda's videos, but this last experience left such a bad taste in mouth that I cannot bring myself to support her in any way anymore. Don't believe the positive reviews on this site. There is a reason why all the bad reviews have the same themes (dead plants, poor customer service, non rooted cuttings, etc.)
