Hi my name is Karlos Volta i am am content creator and I Love love PIXEL FILM STUDIOS I been using them for over 2 years since I started my journey in YouTube and Instagram as a graphic designer I use it to edit my clients videos. Products are great but most important customer service is excellent, they are quick to respond when I have any issues and help me solve it successfully. I will be doing a video review on my IG soon.
This is the go to for mw whenever I need a plug in. Site is super easy and whenever I've had some issues the staff have been super helpful solving it for me. Definitely reccomend these guys!

Most issues can be resolved pretty quickly with all the right information. It always helps to have some screen shots of your Mac Specs and FCPX Version number as well as some screenshots or a screen recording of the issue.

So have downloaded some products of the site and never had any problems did have one little issue but it was solved asap with a easy step by step with some one on the live chat on the website :)

I don't think I could ever leave the easy of use, the functionality, and performance of FCPX. Any time there are effects I'm looking for, I find myself reluctant to look at the Adobe editors to see if I can find an easier way to achieve what I'm looking for. More times than not, Pixel Film Studios has an effect, plug-in, or generator to do what I need!
We aim to please ;) Saving editors time and headaches is what we keep in mind when designing plugins for Apple users.
Simple to understand controls. For anything users have an issue with, we try to make as many tutorials as possible.
By far the best plug-in I've downloaded from this site. I have a few dozen downloaded and this one really added a lot of punch to our newest series of videos for this client. Highly recommended.

I had an issue - point masking didn't work, so i just wrote to the chat on site - and they kindly and really professionally helped me with the issue. Thank you very much!
If you are ever missing your mask controls we recommend re-downloading and reinstalling the product.
If you are still not seeing the mask controls appear in your published parameters it could be that the PFSMask2. App is not launching from the installer.
Here are some instructions on how to launch this manually.
Quit all applications and make sure that any external hard drives are disconnected.
In your Finder window navigate to Macintosh HD - Library - Plugins - FxPlug - then locate PFSMask2
Double click this - not much will happen - just a little flash on the screen. If a window does pop up you can close it.
After this relaunch final cut and test the plugin.

I had a little problem with a plugin. I was helped quickly. The plugin is now running fine. I have to thank for the quick help from the operator. After 20 minutes everything was ready

My brush glow was not working so I contacted Pixel Film Studios for support. They solved my problem by explaining that my folders were missing so i created then reinstalled and it worked right after.

If you have experienced missing controls please make sure that you have the following file path.
Macintosh HD > Library > Plugin-Ins > FxPlug
If you do not have the Plug-Ins or FxPlug folder in your library make sure to create these folders with the correct spelling and then re-download and reinstall the plugin.
I purchased plugins before they were updated to the M1 version, and I had some errors right away when they updated the plugins to my system. I was happy with the support I received back then. But I noticed that the problems are coming back, and I often have issues with their plugins. The recent case is that I'm receiving errors "plugins not responding" while exporting videos, especially at the end of the export process (and the exported video contains a red screen). It's frustrating! Those plugins stop working randomly and updating them doesn't help. Of course, the remaining downloads disappear when you want to re-download the plugin. I can't rely on those plugins anymore. I barely use those plugins due to the red screens I'm receiving. I have the newest version of FCP and Mac OS so it's not a problem with my computer or software. PixelFilmStudios don't want to return the money (they have a short return policy), even tho their plugins do not work for a month so far. Go to other providers; with PixelFilmStudios is a waste of your money and time while trying to figure out why the plugins don't work.

I am using FCPx Glow Plugin for my commercial projects in the music video industry. It was having issues with one of the feature and the live support took just a few minutes to resolve my issue!
