My support from PFS was awesome! I reached out because I recently bought a new FCP X plugin (Pro3rd Shift) but couldn't get it to work after installing. My support member knew exactly what the issue was (my Mac was missing a folder in the OS system), showed me how to simply create the missing folder, then install the plugin. After that my issue was resolved and now I have some really cool a$$ lower thirds for my client's video! I highly recommend them!
I have been using Pixel Film Studios plug-ins for Final Cut Pro X for the past 8 years and they have been getting better and better each year. They are not only affordable but the quality is excellent and only makes my videos look even better.
There are lots of really cool technical plug-ins that add an extra dimension to your footage and help with colour grading, lighting effects, motion graphics and titling. They are my go-to provider for FCPX plug-ins and I have them on 'speed dial' on all of my Mac computers.
During the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown, they have been extremely responsive and helpful with any technical issues. The support staff have been amazing!
Also, now that they have introduced the new PFS App 2.0 it makes it so easy to keep track of all your plug-ins and installed/purchased software.
I can't recommend them enough!

I am a Youtuber, I make family vlogs (The Meza Family) and I've been using PixelFilmStudios plugin's for a few months now, they tremendously have improved the quality of my videos. I had (and still have) bis issue with Pixel Film Studio Plug-Ins running M1 chip. But the support guided me through several steps and told me how this problem is going to be fixed. Awesome.

If you are missing controls for FCPX Brush Glow you will need to manually launch FCPXArtistBrush by double clicking the application (FCPXArtistBrush) while FCPX is closed and no external drives are connected.
FCPXArtistBrush can be found in this file path if installed correctly.
Macintosh HD > Library > Plug-Ins > FxPlug

It's not often that a company will go the extra mile for you. But Pixel Film Studios did just that. I came to them very frustrated in trying to get a plug installed. In my usual fumble footed way, I was getting in my own way! Enter Edgar! This fellow was like a pit bull with my issue. He would not let go until he fixed it for me. And fix it he did! On every occasion that I sent a message, there was a helpful reply on what to try next, in my inbox the very next day. I even received a response on a weekend. Did not expect that! In the end, Edgar patiently endured my endless barrage of questions with knowledgeable answers. He noticed details that would not be noticed without close examination. In the end it was clearly operator error (me!). I had created a folder that I misspelled the name on. So, just for your future edification: Always check the spelling if you have to create a Plug-In folder and don't name it Plugs-In folder. See how subtle? Edgar caught it and put me right back on track.
Need a recommendation? Pixel Film Studios without a doubt. I told him the same thing I'll tell you... They now have a lifetime customer because of the excellent way they handled this.

I was having trouble with a plug-in, every time I would add a preset to my timeline to edit my video, the preset would look great, but when the same exact video would upload, I would re-watch it before uploading it to YouTube the presets would always be a checkerboard, this would usually happen with the mouse (that clicks on the subscribe button). So I decided to seek customer service for help, when reaching out to customer service, the agent was kind and patience, the agent sent me the link to a video that would help me solve the problem and stayed with me on chat until I was finally able to have this issue fixed.

I had issues with red screens in FCPX. I went through all the helpful steps on their site and it didnt fix it but ended up chatting with their support. Their support team was able to troubleshoot with me then set up a time to screen share to fix it for me. Took about 15 minutes and everything was fixed!
