I place an order. They deleted 3/4 of my order and raised the price of the dog food they shipped by $5.00. Tried to cancel order and they told me "no". I will never use them again.
Spoke with a sweet gentleman. He was very friendly, and was able to answer my questions. He had great communication skills and showed concern about costs and my pet!

As for the reason of my call: We rescued/adopted a sweet 2 year old chihuahua a few months back & the foster mom had the shelter vet order all her pet meds through PetCareRx. Today was my first time calling to set up my own account & add our own vet info etc. Miss Peggie Johnson was extremely patient & even asked if I wanted to save 75% off my order by joining as a member. She presented the offer without any added pressure ~ SO refreshing! I'm a numbers gal, so it was a total no brainer when the membership + the meds I needed to order was LESS than the full-price of just the meds. Pet care RX reached out to offer me a free 1-year trial of pet care RX Plus. I accepted. First order went fine. Received my discount. Second order? I was charged $15 more than I would have paid full price elsewhere and was told for the free trial you only get two pets. I ordered for a different pet. Their solution I said they could have warned me before they charged me all of that? Well, you can join again whenever you'd like! Thanks Miles. Second time they offered me a free trial it said the communication was from the owner. I accepted and explained what happened - it was not the owner. Customer service again. Next order went the same as the first, even though I put the right pet name. With the added benefit that they couldn't ever find my account because it was on a different email (I told them the email - they still couldn't find it and acted like I was making it up!). The third time, they couldn't get the communication from another vet that my prescription was okayed in my pet has now been waiting a month. When I went to check on the order today it showed I had no account! BUYER BEWARE!

Four stars only because it's my first visit haven't received anything as of yet. The customer service woman that assisted me today was very professional and Friendly.
I have used petcarerx for a couple of years now, and have never been told I needed to have a membership for each dog. I ordered 2 simparica trios for my 4 and 10 pound dogs. My email confirmation indicates the total for my smaller dog was 112.29. Howerver, I was charged $130.09. I called twice to request a credit, where I was told they charge PER DOG. I have never had this issue in the past. The yearly membership is $99 (which I am aware of and have paid), but for each additional dog it's another $79 per dog. I asked where it states that on their site and was told it isn't indicated on their site and I have been "lucky" in the past for not being charge for my second dog. I will promptly cancel my membership once it expires. There's no cost savings - their prices are the same as other sites without any yearly fees. Even tho my email had one price, i was charged a different price. Too bad, I would have stayed with them had they not decided to charge per dog without notifying customers and not indicating this policy on their site! Owners with multiple dogs - BEWARE!
When I purchased the pet care plan, it did not state anything about the plan only covering 1 cat. It states "Enjoy the convenience of free shipping, (no order minimums or limits)"< Key words. So I placed a huge order and purchased the pet plan, order came up to 300 something dollars with the pet plan. I received an email your order has been shipped, but when I saw the total it showed the total items costing 577.97, I logged into my account a saw it saying the same amount 577.97. Charged, so I called and asked what's going on? The lady said, this order doesn't look like it's only for 1 cat so we didn't give you the pet care plus plan, I asked her where it stated only 1 cat, because It doesn't state it when purchasing the pet care plan, She took me to at least 3 steps to find where it stated only 1 cat. It is hidden! And you basically need to read the entire website to find it. SO they didn't contact me to let me know this, they automatically charged me more without my knowledge or approval, I agreed to the check out price I paid for, they charged my card more without letting me know and they took almost 3 weeks to deliver my items. THIEVES! STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!
I placed an online order for 26 soccer balls, the total amount they had. I needed one more item to get free shipping so I threw in a toy I didn't like. They automatically charged me sales tax. I sent an email informing them I am tax exempt for resale and received an answer telling me to fax or email my tax exempt form. When I received the email confirming shipping, they had only sent 3 balls and the ugly toy, yet their site showed 16 soccer balls in stock. Confused, I called the company and was informed that they do not allow their customers to buy in large quantities because they do not allow their items to be resold. I asked why I hadn't received an email informing me of their policy as how else would I know, especially considering I received the email regarding my tax exempt for resale info. I told her I only ordered the dog to get free shipping and she told me I could return it but I had to pay the shipping which would be more than I paid for the toy. When I asked to speak to a manager, she put me on hold and came back on the phone and told me the manager had confirmed what she had told me already. I repeated that I wanted to speak to a manager and she said he wasn't available. This is a horrible company to deal with. Hope you learn by my experience! VERY poor customer service. They do not know how to treat a customer. If I treated mine as such, I'd go out of business.

On 10/8 when you spoke to our representative we did issue a full refund for the shipping fee since your order value was reduced. We cannot issue a refund on products that you have received because you do not want it any longer, you would have to return it and then we can issue you a full refund. This is the 2nd time i ordered fancy fesst yellow fin cat food and they send me the shredded tuna fare. I cld have gotten it alot cheaper at chrwy.com. And the did not honor my coupon either.

During the past week, I placed an order for Trifexis. A customer representative by the name of Christiana Terborg called me shortly after I placed the order; however, I missed the call. She also emailed me letting me know that she tried to reach me because she had "some questions" regarding my order. I called her back on her direct # she provided but she was unavailable so I replied back to her email requesting that she ask her questions via email due to limited signal. She replied asking what breed and age my dog is and to ask if I'd be interested in the petplus plan. She explained the benefits of joining the petplus plan and the potential savings if I were to join. I responded to her email answering her breed and age inquiry and politely declined the offer for the petplus plan as I am not interested. From this point, she sent 2 additional emails relentlessly soliciting the petplus plan and not taking no for an answer. I felt harassed, to say the least and I eventually asked her to cancel my order completely.
I've ordered with petcarerx multiple times before and never had such an awful customer service experience. Customers should never get harassed into purchasing something that they have already declined.
Cathy Addonisio was friendly and helpful and was able to take care of all my dog's needs. She was able to make recommendations based on Tyson's needs.

Answer: PetPlus is a scam. You pay $50 a year and pay top dollar if you use your local pharmacy! Stay away. Go on goodrx.com and save money and $50 membership!

Answer: It's trustworthy, a prescription is needed, but dealing with medications taking forever to ship, or having some type of issue with refills has been a continued problem. That is the most frustrating thing about this company.
