I placed an order and realized that I bought the wrong kind and needed to cancel the order. I called and was greeted by a recording stating that they had a high volume calls and that if I leave my call back number, the next available agent will call me back. I waited for almost an hour and no one called me, so I call PetCareRx back. Finally a person answers the call and I told her I needed to cancel my order. She proceeded by saying that I can not cancel anymore because the order has just been filled and is shipped out. I was besides myself. I told her I had called in about an hour ago and no one called me back. I asked her why would they have a call back system if they weren't going to call people back. And then to put salt on the wound, she clams that another girl had called me back. Now, if there was a call back phone call, why was I unaware of that call? I never talked to anyone. So are their agents liars now? I am canceling my membership and returning my order. Good riddance PetCareRX

Unauthorized charges
August 7, 2020

I ordered my dogs vet approved royal Canin as I have been doing for the last 6 months. TWO WEEKS GO BYE AND NO DOG FOOD SHOWS UP! I CALL THEM TO FIND OUT WHAT IS GOING ON. THEY FINALLY WIND UP SENDING ME THE FOOD ABOUT 17 DAYS LATER WITH NO APOLOGY! THEN TWO SMALLER BAGS OF DOG FOOD ARRIVED WHIICH I DID NOT ORDER! I ASSUMED THAT THIS WAS A CUSTOMER GOOD WILL FOR SCREWING MY DOGS DIET UP! 3 WEEKS GO BYE AND I GET HIT FOR A $125 DOLLARS FOR THE FOOD I DID NOT ORDER! THEY ACTUALLY CHARGED MY CREDIT CARD WITHOUT MY APPROVAL! THE SO CALLED CUSTOMER SERVICE MANAGER ASSUMED NO LIABILITY AND OFFERED NO APOLOGY FOR THE LATE DOG FOOD AND UNAUTHORIZED CHARGES! I HAVE CANCELED THIS ACCOUNT AND ALSO REPORTED THE CHARGE AS FRAUD! FOLKS IF YOU ALLOW THEM ACCESS TO YOUR CREDIT CARD THEY WILL USE IT WITHOUT APPROVAL! DON'T EXPECT GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE OR A APOLOGY WHEN THEY SCREW UP! I'M LETTING ALL MY SOCIAL MEDIA FRIENDS KNOW WHAT TYPE OF SERVICE YOU WILL GET FROM PETCARE RX@#$%^&

We do have a note on our site to advise our customers due to the current circumstances regarding COVID-19, this manufacturer is experiencing significant shipping delays. Please be advised when ordering, it may take a week or longer for your Royal Canin product to ship. We are sorry we cannot get it any sooner but this situation is out of our hands and we are recommending all customers order in advance for the extending shipping time on this line of food. DONT BUY FROM THEM
April 5, 2016

I decided to join their membership so I could save on my heartgard meds for my dog. I paid the $50 annual membership and the meds were supposed to be $28 so next thing I know I have $50 taken out of my account and then another $52 supposedly for the meds. I figurred it was a mistake but when I called they said the med was actually $52 which is what I pay at my vet's office. So when I asked what the membership was for they said for people who pay alot of meds. WHAT A JOKE, THEY LIED.

Meds for a sick dog

I ordered meds on this site on a Wednesday all they had to do is call the vet and get the prescription I even ask them to call as soon as they could because it told them how important this was and how bad my dog needed this medicine. They assured me that it would be here the next day but that never happened so when I called this morning they proceeded through to tell me I would not get it until Monday I was in shock I could not believe I paid for a service and they proceed to tell me that is how it works for the NDA. I am like why would I pay for that and it not come in time. They rep was like well that's how it works. I am livid she offered nothing not any help or we could Reimbursed you she said nothing but sorry. I don't need ur sorry I need to have this medicine my dog is very very sick and this antibiotic is all that will help him get better. Your company is horrible on delivery and you basically lied! You changed me for a service that never happened! I am going to tell everyone on any social media to not buy from you because you will not get what you ordered on time. I am here to tell anyone that this company is a JOKE! They charge you and keep your money for a service they don't even do. Please anyone do NOT buy from this company if you are in a hurry for meds because you will not get THEM! THIS COMPANY IS A JOKE

I have honestly never been more appalled by a company. My dog requires a prescription and it is most convenient for me to get it mailed to me due to my work schedule. I also get it through PetCareRX because this is what my pet insurance covers.

However the past 3 out of 5 times I have ordered his medication online, I have promptly received an email stating that I need to call their customer service line before being they were willing to send his medicine.

EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. I call they end up trying to sell me on their "PetPlus" membership "discount" plan on their website. They refuse to send his medication until I call. It's not because of a billing issue or because of an issue with his medication. They are just trying to sell me their "discount plan". I have stated repeatedly that I have no interest in this plan and I just want the medicine and they continue to force me to call them.

Beyond the annoyance and persistence of constantly being asked to join their PetPlus plan, if you look into the cost difference between their membership pricing and standard pricing at other retailers (Chewy, Petsmart, Petco)... it's STILL MORE EXPENSIVE TO GET THE ITEMS THROUGH PETCARERX.

AND THEN beyond my two issues stated above, they spam call me every other month... trying to get me to join their useless, senseless, over priced discount plan.

I am so over this company.

You may have been contacted about our Pet Plus Plan as your order was flagged to save more money on the plan through the course of the year as opposed to what you currently pay however you can opt out and request to leave your order and all future purchases at the retail price and you will not be contacted. We are guaranteed to have the lowest prices compared to any other fully US licensed online pharmacies. We apologize for contact attempts as we are just trying to help our customers save additional money but we can have this rectified for you.
