Damaged products delivered - Order was of INR. 41,000/- When i called the customer service team, the team was reluctant to take back the product, Customer service sucks big time, they will shamelessly tell you that they will repair the damaged product and give you the same product for the same price. If a customer has to buy refurbished product, they can buy from OLX, why would they pay the inflated price at Pepperfry? Customer service representatives are rude, unhelpful and also lie so please RECORD ALL YOUR CLLS WITH THEM without fail or else they will tell you all lies. Also, their ticketing system is very opaque, you will get a ticket number in an email after you speak to them, but they will never mention the exact issue that you have faced in that Ticket. When you challenge them for it, they say it is an internal policy that such details are not to be shared with the customers. Now think, what kind of a person will not like to document the details of a customer issue? Let me answer, the kind of person who does not want to leave any proof of the customer's complaint and have deniability in case something goes massively wrong. The product finish is not good at all in addition to the damages. They very smartly use fillers to cover up cracks in the wood. The chair which I received had balancing issues. After many heated calls, they have finally agreed to process refunds. Will uninstall this application from my mobile the day i receive the refunds. Horrible experience.
I had my worst experience with peppery product and it's customer care service, executive name is Jeffy. Carpenter without seeing the product concluded that the product has been mishandled whereas anybody can see the photographs and say it's a manufacturing defect. I will never suggest anyone to buy products from pepperfry.

Ordered Herp Executive Chair for 11K odd. The Pros are:
1. Received the chair well before promised delivery date.
2. Chair "looks": exactly as given in the website.
It may be my fault or misleading advertisement, that I got a poor quality product.
1. There is absolutely no manual or instruction to assemble the chair. Not that it is too difficult to assemble, but still it shows absolute lack of professionalism. This is not a toy set and should have come with assembly instructions.
2. The picture showed as if it has a metallic base, but it is made up of very cheap plastic. I'm not sure how long will this work. If the base breaks (which is often the case with most executive chairs), the chair is completely useless. All the money I spent on now hinges on this good-for-nothing plastic base.
3. Whatever glittered as metal in the picture is all plastic. The cladding around the handle which I thought is a chrome plated metal is very cheap plastic. China made toys could have had better plastic. My 5 year old can remove the cladding just with his nail. Also, the base of the handle is of very cheap plastic. Even if plastic is used, it could have been of better quality. I assure you that this is the worse kind of plastic that could have been used on a 11K+ chair.
Overall, I'm thoroughly disappointed with the quality of the product. I will never ever visit pepperfry (or for that matter, any online furniture store, for I got the raw end of the deal) or will buy any product from them.
They are a fraudulent and cheat company which i intend to take them to consumer court. They first show price of 7322 INR all inclusive price. But while billing they charge 9075 INR. They dont show the amount in the screen when u will pay online also they dont have immediate cancellation process. It is like u cant cancel your order. Oho god. How do u cheat people like this. Fraud
I have ordered bunk bed with storage and trudle for my kids and it was broke in 7 days. It is so unsafe to buy products from pepperfry. My bunk bed costs 34k and they have used lower quality. Customer care is supportive and ready to pick up product with full refund but what about safety of kids.
I highly not recommend for pepperfry products. They sell products with name of MDF bit all parts are not MDF. Its better to go to carpenter to make customized bed.

They are not allowing me to return it since I had raised a request regarding quality issues which according to them is not a legit reason to return an item. They closed the return window and not even acknowledging the mail.
Pepperfry makes it extremely hard to return the damaged products. Their app would crash every single time if you try to make a return request. They do not answer to calls or emails. Basically they do not return products once delivered. So do not shop from pepperfry.

I got a trundle bed from pepperfry last month and it broke with pressure of 5 year old due to its poor quality. I was given bed with cardboard which could not hold a 35 kg weight. My daughter and me happened to visit the Pepperfry Studio (opp Phoenix Mills, Lower Parel, Mumbai) for a first-hand look at some of the furniture items available for a work-from-home use... there was no one available to attend to us... there was a group of five huddled around a table and watching a TV screen... none of them bothered to ask what we were there for... after 10 agonising minutes wait, I went to ask them can we be helped? A lady made a sign - wait for 5 minutes... after another 10 mins, we decided to just walk-off... and none of the staff present, even bothered to come and ask us why we were there... of all of them, guard at the door was the most active with a hand-temp check and indicating that we wait for some more time... this will be my first and last visit to Pepperfry... lousy people and lousier service... came home and decided to buy from Godrej Interio... I am sure will mean more to Pepperfry than the ₹ 40k of purchase I made not from them!
I have ordered a product of 2 quantity and the product quality is worst.it is having termites infestation. I have raise a request to return both the quantity as it comes under same order but they refused to take it. And the discussion is stll going on from past 10 days.the customer service people are of no use. They dont listen to customer. Customers call will be kept on hold and will get auto cut.no response over phone call. They will just drop an email as formality but will not repky to customers email.the post sale service of company is worst. I've ordered a cotton XXXL bean bag worth 3500/- for my husband as a surprise gift but size is bit smaller for him and fabric is rough. Firstly if you want to cancel your order before it is delivered, there is no cancel and refund. If cancel before ship then have to pay a cancellation fee of 2.5%. There is return after delivery only if the product is damaged or else you are stuck with it. They say we have mentioned in the terms and conditions which most of us don't read.
Then the amazing cashback offers. They make you a real fool by providing you 20-40% cashback at the time of register. If u think u r getting a great deal and order a costly product to use the cashback later, u r wrong.
