I bought Oscar TV shelf and paid extra 199 for "assembly charges" which I, in absence of any disclaimer, obviously thought installation included. However they sent carpenter to nail together the shelf item( which should anyway have been done at their factory but they saved carton size!)
Now they have refused to do anything about installation and I have to find a carpenter to do this job and pay him as well
This is fraud. They should learn from Ikea who when they charge assembly fees always include installation automatically.
Pepperfry seems to be this fancy website/app & but it gives the false sense of being customer friendly & lot of discounts. Discounts are added as pepperfry points out of which most cannot be used. The delivery date is only for delivering the product which is not assembled yet. We bought 3 products from pepperfry & there were some pieces of it missing everytime we ordered. Then it takes a lot of time for them to bring back those missing pieces & call a carpenter again. I got frustrated with the entire process. They took back a delivered TV stand because of missing pieces & told that item is unavailable. We had to buy another one somewhere else last minute because of this delay. Those pepperfry points are an illusion! They really have to work on serving the customers better. I lost interest in buying from them ever again. I used to be a big fan of their app & designs but it's not worth all this hassle. Never going back to them again.
I bought wardrobe from Pepperfry. Product was sent damaged and with the manufacturing defects. Its been more than 22 days after returning the product and refund has not been credited to my mode of payment. Pepperfry has worst after sale service. Guys be aware of this company they are cheaters. Pepperfry kindly stop advertising and invest money on customer service because customer can only give you business not the advertising.

Pepperfry gives false, wrong n misleading information on their site at the time of purchase and only after your hard earned money is gone n you receive delivery of the faulty half product you will understand u are cheated, then they will keep harassing you with same autogenerated messages that they will need more time to solve your problem. Theres no specific time frame also they will give because they have already got the money so why will they bother if you are suffering. Their motive is to earn profit only let the customer gets harrassed we will not cooperate. They will also delete your complaints from their page of they don't like it after two three days so that others can't see and keep purchasing.
They send storage beds without base and expect you to store on the floor where as on site there's nothing mentioned n pics are with base only no where u can see u need to store on the floor.
This is new way of scamming customers n customer care person Hari will keep sending u same mail that they need more time because in that meantime they will do the same with others

Very bad experience. Got mold and fungus on wardrobe. They shrugged off saying it is not under warranty. Even geyser people give after warranty service by charges. These people just shrugged off. We expected at least some sort of advice on varnish or home remedy. Even that they are not providing.
Product received is smaller in size than the image shown in the portal. Informed for return and the company wanted image and that also was done. Received email and I quote below:
"... we would need 2-3 images/ video of the product with measuring tape. While taking these photographs, please ensure the below image guidelines:
Images should show the entire product and zoomed-in on the product concern (damage/defective area)
The Images should be of high resolution, within 5MB and JPEG format.
For video, the size should be within 24MB and in MP4 format."

We use online purchase option to save time...but pepper fry will f*** your time with their products and customer service... Bought a pepperfry bed which is utterly inferior. The bed purchased in Dec 19 soon started developing fungus and one of the plank has broken during normal use. As per Peperfry this is not covered under warranty. Please do not buy such inferior products and waste your money
I have bought so far 4 items from the portal and I completely regret buying them. The quality of the items are not at all upto the mark especially with the high price margins they charge. Once the item is delivered to you and payment received by them, you can call them a 100 times for any technical or other help, they will not listen. Not really sure why they even have a Customer Support as they won't really support with anything. Worst after sales policy ever. I had my worst experience with peppery product and it's customer care service, executive name is Jeffy. Carpenter without seeing the product concluded that the product has been mishandled whereas anybody can see the photographs and say it's a manufacturing defect. We ordered a sofa from pepper fry for my super senior citizen dad and they did not deliver on scheduled date. Also, they are saying that they can not commit and date for delivery.
