I was ten minutes early to the exam; it took them 30 minutes to assign a person to my exam, and they had issues on their end. I couldn't take the exam because of their issues, and now I need to "wait" for them to review the case so I can retake it. It was a massive waste of time; only after an hour did they tell me that I would not take the exam today.
I was going to take the Azure Fundamentals exam and checked in on time. This process requires you to take photos of your workspace and ID. I'm disabled and wasn't able to get up to go get my Driver's License, so I took a photo of a photo using my web cam and phone. It took me 20 minutes to get these photos due to my disability (Cerebral Palsy). The photo clearly showed my photo, and was denied to take the test! Microsoft needs to take another look at this company. There are people in this world who physically can't take pictures, and there needs to be procedures in place to account for that! If anybody from Microsoft happens to read this, please take another look at this company.
Call centers are in India and are hard to understand and frustrating to get thru to.
We need options on where to call to for regional assistance.
No one at pearsonvue seems to have an interest in correcting this customer service problem.
I went to a Pearson testing center to take an exam. The lady at the front desk directed me to skip a portion of my exam to get to the portion of the rest of the test I needed to take. Didn't sound right to me, but I did what she told me to do bc she said this just happened and this is what I should do. She sat next to me the entire time and led me through it. Turns out she was wrong and she apologized and said I will definitely be getting my money back. Pearson refuses to refund me my money and says it it's my fault and I should've known better. The person I spoke with in the phone to try and resolve it was so unhelpful and condescending. Said things costumer service should not say, so rude, no one was willing to consider refunding me when this was clearly the fault of their hired staff. So dissatisfied not about the money, but the way I was treated.
Called *******587 on 2/16/22 11:35am and the Customer Service, the female that answered the phone was unprofessional, laughing as she picked up the phone and again during the phone conversation, as I was following up on Students that have not received their test dates. I asked to speak with her supervisor and she proceeded to hang up on me.
Customer service is Horrible, they had my name wrong in the System and NO ONE could change it, spent 1 hour and 15 mins on the phone. Hung up on 2 times, and trans 7 times. Only to talk to a VERY rude Jason. Who i couldn't understand, and he made it very clear he didn't want to help. After listening to my last call found out i was LIED to, and they didn't FIX the issues, forcing me to reschedule my test. Why is it so had to find thier #? And why should it take 3-5 days to fix a NAME?
They refused a government issued ID then promptly refused to give a refund or reschedule. It's simply a scam. Forced to use them by my college.
Pearson VUE is absolutely the worst company I've ever had to deal with! I tried to take an exam remotely through them - I was charged $150 - and the exam software NEVER connected and time expired and the testing system marked me as a no-show. I tried for 2 days to get through to them but was on hold for over an hour each time. So, I put a stop payment on the $150 through my bank. I called PV a few weeks later because they locked my account and I couldn't get in to retake the exam. I spoke with multiple people at PV and was told I have to pay them the $150 for the uncompleted exam and if I want to take it again to pay another $150. THIS COMPANY IS HORRIBLE! TAKE YOUR ORGANIZATIONS BUSINESS TO ANOTHER EXAM PROVIDER - ORGANIZATIONS LIKE COMP TIA OFFER THEIR OWN CERTIFICATES. I will be petitioning Apple, Microsoft and other companies to move away from Pearson VUE and either find a different provider or to start offering their own testing/certification. The 1 star reviews here (thousands of them) are absolutely correct!
I used Preason Vue online proctored exam for my PMP certification and I do NOT recommend. Find a testing site. I know this testing site is going to find me at fault but I did a system check when I first received the email and no issues. Day before I tried to run another system check and I kept running into issues and I was told by the testing site to wait 30 minutes prior to the exam to contact them with issues (no pressure for a $500 dollar test). As you may have guesses, I was not able to get into my test and take it the day of due to system issues. It should not be this hard to take an online test. Do NOT recommend. Find a testing site.
Save your money. Seriously. The absolute worst platform ever to take an exam. I am out money because it took 45 minutes to check my system. Unbelievable.
I was on the phone with this company for 7 hours total over a series of 12 hours. I can confidently say for not one of those minutes were the people from Pearson Vue helpful. My exam was cancelled due to unprecedented circumstances and instead of them helping reschedule, I instead had to endure several excruciating hours explaining the situation to dozens of people. I was transferred to so many different departments that all told me that they couldn't help me reschedule (which is their job). The people from the service desks also did not know how to do their job standardly as every single person would tell me a different thing. Not only was I transferred like crazy, I was also hung up on multiple times. Two days later I called again hoping to reschedule however as soon as they heard I was one of the people from the cancelled exam date, they told me their server was down. I can not imagine a company with a worse customer service desk. Please be careful before booking exams through Pearson Vue.
Disgraceful proctoring, disgraceful service. Choose a different company at all costs. Do not study any certification if it requires the use of this company. They will steal your money
They have poor customer service. I've literally spoken with several agents and they've all hassled me. I just need them to email my my info and they will not.
Checked in 30 minutes early, Was kicked to the back of the queue 4 times, while reading the introduction, apparently my proctor said I wasn't visible 2 times, got 17 questions deep, and he revoked my test, saying I was leaning continuously. I essentially lost $400 for "leaning too much". SCAM ALERT! SCAM ALERT! IF YOU ARE READING THIS FOR THE LOVE OF GOD TAKE YOUR TEST AT A TESTING CENTER!
Used Preason Vue online proctored exam for Microsoft; assessor terminated my exam for - as he stated - connectivity issues (i did not have as i could succeffully read messages and proceed through questions).
The assessor stated to have filed this for me so I could get my money back. Moreover, a subsequent call to customer service confirmed this incidend was raised to the respective teams.
I followed up via email to ask for compensation/let them retake me the exam without further cost.
End of story: response to my mail: Your exam was successfully deliverd, we did not find any errors. We are unable to recompensate.
Try to avoid them if possible. Not worth the money.
HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE. Portal is buggy, they had me rip my desk apart just to try to get a far enough visual of my desk instead of panning. After question 1, the test exited and I cannot get back in. There is no customer service #. I'm out $400 unless I go through my credit card company to backout the charges.
I have tried to take my PMP exam twice, and both times, I had technical difficulties and was only able to complete 1/3 of the exam. I was refunded the first time. We'll see about this time. The first time, the camera stopped working so I was told to shut down everything and log back in… problem was that my login had expired and the link no longer worked. The phones are only answered on weekdays. So, I was stuck. The second time, I started the exam by asking for some type of contact in case something like that happened again. I couldn't get one but they noted my phone number in the chat. A while into it, I came across a question that required me to enter a value and noticed that my keyboard stopped working. I contacted the chat, and they just restarted the test. That didn't work, so someone else answered and they told me to do the same. During the exam, I was in contact with 5 people… and spent almost 30 minutes trying to resolve the issue. Only one person bothered to call me on my cell phone. Plus, getting passed around, I'm not sure how much got passed along. I had to explain my issue again and again, and without being able to type anything, I'm not sure how much they caught. I had used the service years ago, and it was much better. It seems like they've tried to cut costs, and service has suffered tremendously. Everyone's solution seems to be to get you to restart the test so they can hand off the problem to someone else. The one person I was able to talk to on the phone had me hang up because use of phones is prohibited. But in doing so, I also lost contact with him.
I was required by my employer to take a PA Notary Public exam as it would be beneficial in my line of work. I took the 3 hour long course, filled out the application, got approved and was set to take the exam. The first time I tried to take the exam, a portion of their proctored website to ensure honesty and no cheating failed. I was stuck on the same screen for an hour. I finally tried on my work desktop computer and it worked. I was ready to take the exam. The day came and I began my check in and had to take 45 minutes out of my work day to be held in a waiting room until the proctor finally got to me. I was required to take pictures of my testing space and send them in. Then the proctor, who was extremely rude and unprofessional asked me to lift up my desktop computer to show her my space. I couldn't do this as my computer was hardwired to the desktop and also 25 lbs. So she KICKED ME OUT OF THE EXAM I PAID FOR. Despite this, I rescheduled my exam and again, the day of the exam, the same website failed; I tried on 3 different computers and I was unable to take my exam because of their lack of a functioning platform. Customer service was unhelpful as they just show niceties like I'm sorry for the inconvenience. And guess what, I'm no closer to being a notary public thanks to Pearson VUE. DO NOT TAKE AN EXAM THROUGH THEM. They have some serious issues to get worked out there.
I tried Second time for a test but every time had technical issue. First time couldn't see questions and second time didn't get access code
Their software is buggy and crashed during the middle of my exam. Now I have to retake it. Their support is even worse than their software. I would have given it 0 stars if I could have.
