They overcharge on shipping if you buy anything other than magazines. I purchased a CD and they billed me $8 for shipping! It does not cost $8 to mail a CD. I was playing one of the contest games and it actually looked like I would win a large amount of money and suddenly... the page froze and could not be recovered.
I don't know if the sweepstakes entries are legit or not. There is no way to tell. However, i can tell you that the merchandise they sell is of very poor quality. The good news is that if you send it back they give you a 100% refund, no questions asked. I have stopped ordering from them because not one item has ever been satisfactoty. An read the fine print about the shipping charges. They really get you there.
Forget PCH Puzzles, They are irritating and freeze browsers, after and now even before the next puzzle. I have more than one browser and it still does it. Too many puzzles and even doubles of same ones now. They are NOT making the puzzles fun anymore. Anyone else having a problem with this?
I would like to see more often PCH giving a million dollar prize to someone in their 40s living in a $30,000 home. Instead of only upper middle class people. That makes me think the game is rigged much like the state lotteries. Always filtering the money to the upper class. Some people who only live on $12,000 a year should be winners at sometime.
I have received a final step notice almost a dozen times...
Even got one in the mail!
Publishers Clearing House seems not to know that the word final means there is only one of them...
Does anyone really complete an entry if the final step is not final?
I understand that selling Dollar Store stuff for $11.96 frees up profit for prizes.
And then add a minimum of $5.00-$10.00 for shipping of course...
Where else Would they get the funds to pretend to give money away...
All that does seem to pencil out just fine for PCH, But the final step is still required to happen only once... It is a final step!
To require more than one final step is nothing short of a lie and contradiction of yourself...
I have entered to win for more then ten years and guess what never won even a dollar' Sure there may be small winners but for the big sweepstakes they will never give out the winning number so there will never be a big winner. Something else when they show the little winers have you ever seen then at a house out in the middle of no where or at someone's house that could really need the money no it is all ways at a very nice house with people that all ready look like they don't need it. So for someone to win big they have to give the winning number out first.
At this point winning isn't a want its a must... I'm a 30 YO Man in a wheelchair since birth living in an old folks home my second one im tired of low-income housing getting bedbug bites, druggies all through the buildings, couch surfing, rescue missions & i've even been on the streets homeless and thats not easy for anyone and im stuck in this dang wheelchair how hard do you think that is? Pretty dang hard so yeah im not a greedy person i just want to be safe and not have to worry about money or my living situation and SSDI doesn't cut it!
I had over 128 million tokens to enter for car prize., which gave me over 2 thousand + entries to win. Has anyone actually won a prize? I think everybody has gotten a $10 check to make it look like you won but it's just something to keep you playing.
I played and bought items for close to a year. Everything they sent me, made it sound like I was for sure going to be picked in my hometown area. I received new offers at least 3 times a week.(of which I have kept all envelopes, plus all the latest ones Im currently receiving) They rope you in with their clever words and phrases, and you brainwash yourself into believing that one more item bought will help me win. Believe me I feel so stupid to have fallen under their spell. Half of the stuff that I purchased was crappy or out-dated and I have no use for. I tried to RETURN Items and they charge you again to mail them back, and by the time you return your item and hopefully get a refund, your refund is about 1/2 to1/3 of what you originally paid for it. I think maybe it is time for a class action suit. BEWARE!
I thought I was too old to be suckered into buying cheap merchandise, but I guess I was wrong. My husband had an old coin counter that he'd had for years and it broke. Thought I would surprise him with one that was on one of those PCH flyers, and it was ONLY $11.96. Well by the time they added ship/handling it came to $19.34. I would have been okay with that, but the coin counter they sent me is cheaply made and, lo and behold, does not count change! It thinks nickels are quarters and get's really confused if you drop a half-dollar in it! Guess you are never too old to learn a lesson... if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is! The worst part of this whole debacle is that I am now on their mailing list and am getting deluged with their sweepstake garbage that is really the big scam! My advice, if it comes from PCH, RUN, do not walk to the nearest garbage can and toss it in.
$#*! pch they are crooks i used to work there and we cheated people for years. We were told to lie and cheat people when they said they won. All the winners of the big money prizes shown on tv are fake and are family members of the advertisers. Stop playing you dumb people and nobody wins stop wasting your life.
Seven years hoping to win big and $10 is all I won. Why can't they shell out small and frequent monetary payments. All you get are tokens. I suppose it'll take me another 7 years to win another $10. They keep asking me to do searches just so they can spy on your browser and bombard you advertisements, not to mention if you order from PCH, they charge shipping and handling fee per item in one one single order, which makes you have pay a very high payment. PCH is just in the business of scamming you out of your money and wasting your time instead of giving you more than $10 fort years of being a loyal customer. That pretty much sums up a waste of my time.
I wonder in the past seven years PCH has defraud people by telling them to just place an order. That they will winin what ever sweepstakes. And the Items you do buy seem to have a lot of them tat don't work as the say. That misrepresenting said product. But PCH got at covered in the extra fine print. Just thing how may folks would have the life style those at PCH. Carry and they don't have to buy a thing to win.
What a ripe off, I ordered some flex glue from PCH and it cost me 19.95, I found the same item at my local hardware store for 12.95. Shop locally for the item you want before ordering from PCH. PCH has gotten there last order from me.
I have been entering and ordering since 2006 and have never won anything. I am tired of ordering thing I don't need or want to stay up to date for your so call contest for things I really can't afford. This is my last attempt at entering.
I ordered an item on 05/10/2021. I didn't receive it. On 06/01 they said it was out of stock & they weren't getting more. My order was cancelled. I found a similar item elsewhere. On 06/06 they said they had processed my (already cancelled) order and will tell me when it's shipped. I tried to cancel the item, but they now refuse to do that! They claim I can return it, but will there be a return shipping fee? I will never buy anything from them again. Also, they charge 45% in shipping and handling. What was advertised at $17.95 actually cost $28.61 with S&H plus tax.
PCH isn't worth the time and energy we put into it you would have a better chance playing the litter and winning $20,000 then damn PCH. I have done research and noticed that the people who win we don't hear from them again or that the winners video isn't on news channels, and that most of the winners are old, single moms with too many kids, and people who are already doing good.
I ordered the party maker 2 months ago and even though it was paid for immediately, I still have not received it. Looks like PCH is back to their old game. Order something to win and you get nothing. Not even what you order.
Since the ads have tripled in the amount of time, I find it's just a matter of time I will no longer have the time to use the PCH site. I was able to complete in 1- 1/2, but I now need 3 hours.
Also, I'm unable to play this version of blackjack. It's too confusing.
The PCH.com slots is very boring, and it's not a " tournament." The total score amount, is always below 160.
I was contacted several times to trade tokens for prizes. When I spent huge $millions amounts of my tokens, to get the opportunity to win prizes, I didn't win, but the worst thing that happened, which I didn't know, was all the millions of tokens were removed, leaving a very small amount, not enabling to do any trading!
I receive at least 5 if not more emails from PCH from October to March, they all insist I buy, buy, buy, play, play, play, but with an ad between each game. Then you are not qualified until you search, search, search. For What? Where do we get the time to do that? If you are going to have a contest, do it, stop with all the additional crap which, in case you haven't figured it out, turns people off. I know I will never win anything in your stupid contest because I don't have the time and patience for it. It's all BS anyhow!
Answer: Probably but we keep playing as the games do give us something to do. Wouldn't bet on a big win however.
Answer: Am I still in the running for PCH's $7,000.00 a week win Thanks hoping for good news. My computer was down for two days. Does this disqualify me
Answer: I know they keep changing the dates for winning and they say no purchase needed until the end with a notice to buy something and you will be on their list they should be accounted for to better business bureau and all the items are made in china this company must be owned by china I'm done with them
Answer: Oh this is big time scam. Like I said in my review we put to much time into this wack company that when see anything about money we think it's them. Nobody ever wins there special early look prizes unless it's a guaranteed giveaway.
Answer: Well, and just as I expected, the October 23 "special early look" did NOT result in the "mega prize" being awarded. Surprise, surprise! I saw that they immediately started advertising on TV their next "mega prize" (what is it now? $5000 a week for life? Bet they don't award that one, either!) Just a scam to drum up sales to weak-minded people who actually think they have a snowball's chance in you-know-where to win anything at odds of almost 2 billion to one. A total fraud!
Answer: I didn't know this but it makes sense as there is nothing to it but the same thing day after day. PCH has gone downhill with games, lately, as even the daily puzzles, now, just drag and are hard to move the pieces. Too many puzzles and probably too many people playing, Also same thing, every day and are only for fun to kill time with. Maybe, now, they are just not monitoring the sites to see their problems. Bingo, no great loss.
