I now have several million overall tokens, a sapphire rating, and a VIP Member and have been playing since 2007, ten years and have only won cash prizes twice, last year one $100 check for one of the sweeps and last month one $10 check on a games play, but have spent hundreds of $$$ for merchandise all made in China which does affect sizing, seems everything from there is made smaller than here, way overpriced shipping/handling prices and you cannot get any satisfaction from customer service... after this season's purchases are all paid off, I am quitting!
I have entered several times, or at least thought I had completed an entry. However, I don't think you can EVER fully complete an entry. They constantly come back and say just one more step, don't miss out. Take that step and then there is another, and another, and another. It never ends! I'm done with them!
Many times I have been interested in purchasing one of the products offered only to find out at checkout that the cost of shipping and handling is at least twice what it should be. Unless the item is something that I really want and need, I will not throw my money away on these enormous shipping and handling charges. PCH should adjust their pricing for S & H to be more realistic if they intend to sell their products.
Beware that if you pay on-line it pays the whole amount you owe. I did not no this and they would not fix the problem. Plus for each item that is late they charge you $5.00. They get you the way the payment system is set up. I will never purchase a thing from them again. Most of the products are cheap and flimsy.
I have played for many many years and have amassed and used "a billion" tokens and haven't won even the smallest of prizes. I'm not talking thousands or millions of tokens, I am talking about a billion. Play all you want but don't really expect to win anything. The chance of winning is so remote that it shouldn't be the reason that you play.
Writing this review is probably the most enjoyment I have ever received from playing PCH stupid games for many many many years. At least online I am not wasting postage sending in the paper entries of years past. But think about it... You actually get more than pie in the sky. You get the many many spam emails on a daily basis from other scam specialists associated with PCH. But here is good thing you do get from playing PCH; if you are disciplined enough not to buy anything then you get that HOPE of winning something without paying a dime for it in the state lotteries that give you a chance of winning at a billion to one odds game that does cost you lots and lots of money.
There, now I feel better.
Pch is nothing more than a scam! First of all, what company is able to afford to pay you 7,0000 a week, or what ever the new amount is! I have played and played, and entered, and entered. They make so called promises, such as, "you are the next big winner! " yeah right.
They keep sending emails, do this or that your 1 step away from winning! Their coming to your area! Bull$#*! it's all a scam to get you to buy the crap that just falls apart. The people that win, is it even true? I say it's all a put on. Paid actors to make it look real. I'd like to see real winners meet real people?
So sad that a free game site that was fun to play in the past (I have been playing since 1980's) has become so entrenched in a downward spiral of self site blocking pop up ads that it is no longer fun to play and with new competitors wanting your cookies it is just a matter of time before pch will have to close their doors
I have been a member for over 10 years and purchased numerous items. Not only are most items more expensive then finding it elsewhere online, most are cheaply made. I have been disappointed in many items, though there are many that I like. Myself I have only won a $10 Amazon gift card, but you know we have to keep in mind millions of people are playing numerous times a day. I myself don't have the time to sit on the computer all day. Those who think purchasing will make you one step closer to winning can't read.
I enjoy the games when I have a chance to play. It's free and you take the same chance when you spend money on lotto cards, so why complain?
So far I'm getting tire on the bounce games you reply to one and then it bounces back and forth to other games after the time you waste on the dumb survey you end up bouncing over to a different game that is asking you to buy something that says 5 payment options and then after you order they add the over price shipping and you get it on regular mail and by then the price has double and the monthly payment is twice as much so now I am not buying anything unless is got free shipment as I paid the cost for first class next day and it arrives on bulk usps this right here kill my will to shop from them
I now have one hundred thirty eight million tokens and no win! I have not missed a day in a month yet I am now back at the 5000 token start not the ******* that you get if you play daily. New games same slow down, and I'm sorry we are experiencing technical problems? Yet the commercials never have any problems.
I have over one hundred thirty four million tokens and have never won anything. Once though I won 5,000 dollars only to get email stating sorry? We made a mistake.
I love playing Pch games. Passes the time but why is it the same winner comes in just before 12 midnight and win? Does that make any sense? It sure does not. It's very hard to get on the leaderboard on all games. And your on top and a player comes in and wins. How fair is it to ALL other players? I have many friends who play Pch Games and they say the same thing. Not fair to others.
First off, PCH exists to sell stuff. Or rather, to hook up a zillion consumers with a million brands. PCH has no interest in giving stuff away: the games and contests (including the "sweepstakes" that you've already won) are click-bait to get you into the system, nothing more. There are no prizes.
But even if they were the Santa Claus they say they are, you stand a five times greater chance of dying before you finish reading this sentence than you do of winning. You can think positive all you like, but they prey on people who do not understand statistics.
Get a job, work hard, and don't live on foolish dreams of easy money. Read to your kids, use good grammar and groom yourself well. Use birth control. Use alcohol and other drugs judiciously or not at all. That's your best chance of success, and actually statistically will make you wealthier. This is your life. Get used to it.
PCH never gets tired of reminding me Ive been a customer since 1996 by sending an avg. Of 6-8 emails per day pushing so many different contests, no normal human could keep up with them.
And, just like every other review on here, they are a colossal rip-off, their shipping and handling is a crime, there is no validated proof of anyone ever winning the 'mega' prizes and their products are cheaper and junkier than what you could get in N Korea.
My favorite is the assorted nuts or candies they retail out in little tins, usually at 14.95-17.95 for 8 oz.
That's $30 plus a pound for penny candy or nuts. It's basically elder abuse, since that is obviously the demographic they target.
The only thing I can say is worth fooling with are the magazines. Thats how they started, and thats all I ever would order. There are some decent deals there on legit publications, but you have to dig to even get to a page that features them.
Word of advice: magazines only from PCH.
These folks are total jerks, constantly spamming you with nonsense. Do yourself a favor, and assign their emails to SPAM. Even then you will still get your email bombed with their garbage.
Every single day there is, "one last step to win." Yeah, like forever, and they want you to scroll through 4 pages of crappy products before you can submit an entry. Even then you will get, "an order would be appreciated." Well, I'll place an order when that multi-million dollar winnings is mine, but in the meantime, I don't think so.
The stuff they sell is total cheap crap. I got insulated bowl holders to heat soup in the microwave, good idea right? The material isn't flexible enough and I spilled hot clam chowder everywhere. Went right in the trash. I entered a contest via phone for some pandemic entertainment for the fun of it, not planning to win anything but why not? Don't call them, I ended up with magazine subscriptions I didn't want, their salespeople are sharks. I was so ticked off at them & myself I made them reverse the charges. If you are looking for pandemic entertainment stay away from this shoddy and sleazy company!
I recently purchased 2 items one of which was what I thought were 3 solar lights but there were 6 all wired together. They worked for 2 nights. Don't waste your money purchasing anything from PCH. Don Elseroad Bristol, VA.
Aside from registering for the big prizes which everyone wants, this site offers other online games such as simulated bingo, arcade and casino themed games. The problem is the site often locks up and presents a "technical difficulties, try again later" window. When you try to leave the stuck page you get a warning that if you do it will forfeit the game currently in play. So, it's the player's fault that their site malfunctioned? Not very sporting of PHC.com. Also numerous pop-under ad windows will open while on the site and these seem to contribute to incidents of technical problems during game play. Expect to get around a half dozen emails per day regarding the games you use. If you offer up an email address to any PHC partners that address will be slammed with spam in the future. Try creating a free address somewhere just for this purpose in order to keep your regular address clear.
Has anyone noticed that the same "people" are always the leaders on the daily token board. The PCH website doesn't update till midnight everyday and yet these "people" already have well over 100,000 tokens at 12:15am. How is this possible? I usually play everyday and this whole process takes hours and not to mention I cant even come close to 100,000 tokens. I've never even won a $5 gift card after years of playing these games and entering the sweepstake. It always says no purchase necessary to win or play and that is good because until I win something I'm not planning on buying anything. Its fun to play and enter the contests but don't have any expectations because you will be disappointed.
Answer: Probably but we keep playing as the games do give us something to do. Wouldn't bet on a big win however.
Answer: Am I still in the running for PCH's $7,000.00 a week win Thanks hoping for good news. My computer was down for two days. Does this disqualify me
Answer: I know they keep changing the dates for winning and they say no purchase needed until the end with a notice to buy something and you will be on their list they should be accounted for to better business bureau and all the items are made in china this company must be owned by china I'm done with them
Answer: Oh this is big time scam. Like I said in my review we put to much time into this wack company that when see anything about money we think it's them. Nobody ever wins there special early look prizes unless it's a guaranteed giveaway.
Answer: Well, and just as I expected, the October 23 "special early look" did NOT result in the "mega prize" being awarded. Surprise, surprise! I saw that they immediately started advertising on TV their next "mega prize" (what is it now? $5000 a week for life? Bet they don't award that one, either!) Just a scam to drum up sales to weak-minded people who actually think they have a snowball's chance in you-know-where to win anything at odds of almost 2 billion to one. A total fraud!
Answer: I didn't know this but it makes sense as there is nothing to it but the same thing day after day. PCH has gone downhill with games, lately, as even the daily puzzles, now, just drag and are hard to move the pieces. Too many puzzles and probably too many people playing, Also same thing, every day and are only for fun to kill time with. Maybe, now, they are just not monitoring the sites to see their problems. Bingo, no great loss.
