I added money to Paytm by credit card to send to a friend but money is added as a Paytm gift voucher. Now I cannot use this money anywhere else other than Paytm store. All this without even informing me where my money is going. They can slap banners all over their app when they need our personal information (KYC) but they cannot share this little detail with us when they change their policy? Even a simple notification would have sufficed, but nothing from their side. The money is now stuck in the voucher and is non transferable. These are the kind of shady practices that make such companies lose their customer base. I will never use Paytm in the future and would also like to urge other users to DO NOT USE THIS APP and NOT TRUST THEM WITH YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY.
Does PAYTM always offer big cash back discounts for iPhones and other expensive items then after the product is bought find some excuse not to pay? This was my experience with PAYTM and it is important that customers are aware that this cashback is a big con to lure customers to buy at seemingly lower prices than other vendors!

I ordered KENT MAXX water purifier worht 7782 RS
But I got kent smart purifier whose MRP is 4k.
It's been more than 5 days since I raised complaint.
Nor did I got my refund back also no one yas comet to pick the product.
Customer care are really arrogant and useless people, I didnt got any reply since last 4 days
