Website is slow to respond and was unable for the longest time to get past confirmation of prescription to continue to place order. Shouldn't take 1/2 hour to order same frame as before only in sunglasses.
User friendly website, love the try on feature, all measurements, etc., explained in plain English, easily understandable.
Just ordered a pair to try them out, couldn't believe that as a newcomer to this country and paying $445 for a useless pair of varifocals in Walmart that buying them for $43 from Payne would work out. But they are great, lightweight, lenses are scratch resistant and easy to clean. Staggering choice of frames all at reasonable prices.
I am not a collector and don't have a pair for every outfit, but like a spare pair or two in case of accidents. I encourage my family to shop at Payne for obvious reasons.
As a new glass wearer (and new at purchasing glasses, online), I had some reticence. However, I was pleasantly surprised the process was seamless. I received the glasses I ordered (including all the options I requested) in about 10 days. While I initially ordered them as a backup pair, I find myself wearing them almost all the time.
This was my first time ordering from Payne. I have ordered from Zenni in the past. I also ventured into the realm of ordering my first pair of progressive lenses. My first pair arrived quickly! I was surprised at the quality of the frame for the price. The frame fit great and was very light weight. However, there was something wrong with the progressive lens. I contacted Payne and they worked closely with me to resolve. Some great follow-up and real concern to make it right. The issue was mostly me not being able to adjust to that progressive. I decided to upgrade to the driving progressive for only $20. I send the orginal back and they return shipped with the upgrade really quickly. Overall, it was a great experience and will buy from them again.
I was very pleasantly surprised when I got the glasses in the mail. Very good quality and the price can't be beat. I got a second frame in the same style in case this first get damaged. Will never look anywhere else for frames.
I have been trying to contact them but live chat is no longer an option for me and when I email them they don't answer my mails and if they do they never provide the answer to the question I am looking for
I purchased the one time insurance that let's me return the glasses if they weren't right. It was my error in my prescription, so I returned them. Customer service was excellent. I received my new pair and the prescription was correct. The only thing I have a problem with is the glasses are too loose and fall off my face when I look down
Glasses are awesome for a low price. I was worried because they were so cheap they may not be any good. I was wrong. I love my new glasses and they are as good as the eye Dr's. Office. I will order her again when I need new glasses.
A second person was on my account. Her name was removed and replaced with my name. So the prescription on these glasses were WRONG. I corrected the problem and reordered other glasses. The new glasses are fine but these 2 pair are useless to me.
The glasses were packed very well, and on putting them on for the first time, they fit perfectly and the optical vision through them was perfect. I only bought them as a spare pare of glasses, but they could be used for everyday as well.
Glasses are affordable and comfortable to wear. Only complaint is that the warranty charge applies by default. I removed it, then adjusted my cart but never left my cart. The charge for warranty applied after my cart adjustment and I didn't realize it until I completed purchase. Watch for that charge!
We've now ordered over 10 pair of prescription glasses/sunglasses and we have not had one issue with a single pair! We've still spent less on over 10 pair than we spent on my husband's one pair from the eye doctor! Also, my daughter has pretty unique glasses from our eye doctor and we found a pair from Payne that nearly look identical and they were $280 less! We only get our glasses through Payne Glasses now!
I bought another style of glasses with the same prescription because the glasses are such a great quality and price. I already have a pair with a larger frame, but got a smaller frame this time. I also have a pair of prescription sunglasses. Order time to delivery was reasonable too.
There is nothing I can say negative about my Payne Glasses. The Price, the Style, most importantly is the lenses.
My glasses are progressive lenses and all my pairs were perfectly made for my vision.

Easy. But, not all frames are available for try-on. I ordered the one without trying it on. Then, I had to purchase the warranty so that I could easily return or exchange it. But, I wish all frames are available to try on.
I ordered a pair of prescription glasses as well as a pair of prescription sunglasses through payne and they are great. My husband just ordered himself some as well. You're honestly can't beat the price. You can pay $600 at the eye doc or get them here for less than 100. It's really a no brainier

I ordered to frames and lenses with a little trepidation due to the low price. Both frames are great. Comfortable and light. I had to have the lenses in one set of frames changed and it was handled very efficiently. Such a great value! A great experience.
