This time the Yamaha fuel filter was replaced by another product. Called customer service and they said they were out of Yamaha filters and the replacement was as good. It would be nice to know that when I placed the order.

The trolling motor finally arrived. Fed Ex first said it attempted delivery on Easter Sunday but no one was home. 1) I was home... 2) It was Easter(!) and 3) Fed Ex is closed on Sundays. It took them almost a week more for them to find it and finally deliver it. No fault of PartsVu, but you might consider another carrier.

I have searched our database and only found 1 correspondence from you late Thursday, and when the agent responded a little less than 24 hours later your order had already arrived, thus they provided a response advising of the delivery. I did not see anything prior to that with your email. I do sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.
I assure you we do not try to hide anything. We do state in our terms and conditions that items may not be available or in stock but that we will notify you within 1-3 business days which in fact we did. When items are on backorder all we can do is advise of the estimated availability date so that you may have the option to cancel or carry on with the order. In this case, you did not cancel and we kept your order open and had it dropshipped directly from the vendor to you.
