The web site was very useful and designed well. For an unknown reason, my delivery was delayed for three days. This caused a delay of my repairs. All the parts included were accurate as ordered. However, although it fit, the quality of the oil filter in the kit purchased from PartsVu were of far lesser quality that the oil filter from the Mercury factory.

Item was shipped with only some of the items and circled parts on the packing slip saying back ordered by over a month. There was no email, no call, no notice. Now I am waiting on parts ordered from another place while this boat should be on the road. Customer service is unreachable. I'll happily pay more to go to a store that ACTUALLY has the part in stock as indicated. Wouldn't do it. I will edit this if I can reach customer service.

While this kit's name is Sierra-Fuel Pump Kit 55-250-7788 that is not going to include every 55-250 as there are several models. Items such as these gaskets need to be compared to your schematic. This specific kit says it only replaces OEM part 6E5-24411-00-00. If that is not your OEM part number this would not apply to you.
