I have an 05 Sonata 2.7L. I have the car going on 10 years. It's a great car, but finding parts for it is hard and I work at a parts store. My harmonic balancer separated from the crank gear and I couldn't find the gear or the crank bolt anywhere until I looked here. The site is easy to navigate and the parts shipped fast.
Thanks Parts Geek!

DON'T BOTHER.
December 7, 2016

Parts missing in a 160$ suspension kit
Showed up in a timely fashion, but if I didn't go buy the parts I needed to finish the job, customers car would still be on the lift, a week n a half later.
It's the only time I've tried them, but first impressions, well, ya only get one n I'm still in limbo on what's happening. NO BUENO

Worst customer service!
September 7, 2018

Do not purchase from this company! If they make a mistake in fulfilling the order- you will have the worst time in the world to get it fixed. Their customer service is horrible and the phone representatives are all rude! They repeatedly hung up the phone when I would call regarding my issue. If they send you the wrong part- they charge you a new order just to send the correct parts! DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!

Is a company that literally steals from customers. Why if the part does not serve the vehicle you have to keep it and your money is lost. I do not recommend this company at all

I purchased front and rear rotors for my Infiniti FX45 and couldn't install them right away until a month and a week later. Unfortunately, I realized Partsgeek sent me the rotors. I spoke to their representative and he told me I could not return due to their 30 day return policy. I told him that this isn't my error but their own and he had admitted that they have sent the wrong rotors to me. And what is absurd about this if I could return these rotors, I would still be responsible paying the shipping which shipping from California is very expensive. This not good business. I should have gone to 1Aauto.com.

Do not buy brake kits
August 11, 2020

I ordered a kit of rotors and pads for a 2018 explorer and they sent the wrong rear rotors. Everything else fit fine. Had to purchase new rear rotors from local parts dealer to get the thing back on the road. PartsGeek will not take back just the rear rotors without me sending the whole kit back and with me paying the shipping. That's impossible now that the front pads and rotors are installed. They admit it is their mistake but will not take back or credit me for the wrong parts they sent. DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THESE GEEKS.

I bought an AC kit from Parts Geek specifically for my 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee. It cost me over $200 but I didn't complain but they sent me all the wrong parts for my car, but a single one fit at all. When I asked to refund the parts they said they will not compensate any money for sending the parts back to them for my refund. I used the cheapest shipping option possible and it still cost me $84 to send back their parts that they got wrong. Worst company imaginable DO NOT BUY FROM THEM.

"Excited when I first found PartsGeek.com, I ordered over $1,200 in my first month as a customer and close to that my second month. Things were fine until I needed CUSTOMER SERVICE. I needed to return under $80 in parts not used. I have submitted online support tickets 7 times thus far and am STILL waiting for a refund for returned items they RECEIVED (sent with tracking) over 2 MONTHS AGO! Their lack of phone support/service and canned online email responses are disgusting. This may be how they keep prices down, but they have lost me as a customer over a minimal amount because they lack professionalism, responsibility, and honest business practices. Stay away, because chances are some day you will need customer service and this company just does not have any of that in stock... EVER!

Business Sucks!
September 28, 2023

On Sept. 19th I ordered parts for my 2005 siverado 2500HD. All the parts are right except, I ordered a shock kit for the truck. The rear ones fit but the front ones are to short and to small of diameter I tried to get a return number but they said I couldn't get a partial refund on the kit but had to send the whole kit back. I've got the rear shocks on so now are considered used and can't be returned.
I tried to get just the new front ones refunded but not without all 4. Their online catalog shows that you can order them separately but I was told as long as it was a kit it couldn't be a partial refund!
Stupid! I now have a couple shocks that are new JUNK!

I ordered a 98' Toyota Camry door front door handle from them, a few days later I received the wrong part. Instead of the front right door handle, I was sent the right rear door handle. However, my brother ordered a 97' Nissan Altima right rear view mirror and the correct part was sent. I tried emailing PartsGeek, they told me to send the part back. So I did, and I haven't heard back from them since. I have called numerous times and still haven't spoken with a representative. I strongly don't recommend ordering from PartsGeek EVER!

Buyer Beware or Return Policy
April 13, 2024

Their site says, "Buy with Confidence selling parts since 2008" and also says "We pride ourselves in providing the best customer service on the Internet." I no longer believe either of those self-proclaimed statements.

I ordered two headlight assemblies. The first part of the experience was perfectly fine. Ordering was easy and the shipping was on time. When the boxes arrived, there was no visible damage to the boxes. When I opened the box, the parts were damaged.

I thought, no big deal, I am sure Parts Geek will pay for the return and send me new ones. I was wrong on both accounts. They will let me return them, but I must pay for the shipping, which cost me $125. To add insult to injury, they said I can order new headlight, but that they will not pay for the replacement shipping to send them to me and would charge $35 for shipping. No offer of a discount. No mention of trying to make this right. Horrible customer service

I thought I was saving money using Parts Geeks, but by the time had to pay $160 shipping of broken parts, that was not my fault, I paid triple the cost of what I thought I was saving. I recommend you pay a little extra and use a company that doesn't charge you for return shipping if the part is defective or broken.

Buyers beware. Parts Geek has lost my business for life.

Received damaged wheel for Subaru Forester and received RMA quickly. BUT BEWARE: Buyer is responsible for return shipping regardless of who is at fault. Shipping is cross country and will cost more to return than the item is worth. What started off as a good purchasing experience has ended in "I will never buy anything from Parts Geek again".

I ordered Brembo brake pads and rotors for my 2018 Porsche Cayman, paid for them, but received parts for a 2017 Porsche Cayenne. That's an SUV. These people didn't even get the vehicle right. I'll find the time to deal with this because I have doubts they will refund my money. I will update this review when there is any change in my situation. Had I read the reviews, I would NEVER have made a purchase through this site. BUYER BEWARE!

Ordered a strut for my vehicle with detailed description and partsgeek sent the wrong part for which I had no use for so had to return it. The original box when received was torn into pieces and not reusable. Partsgeek said I would have to pay all expense to return so took it to UPS and advised to box and ship $77 which
Was only $28 less than the part cost. Lesson learned.DO NOT BUY FROM PARTSGEEK.COM OR YOU WILL BE TAKEN. Read the fine print.

Sells parts that do not fit
October 2, 2023

Sells parts that do not fit even though their website states that they do. Customer service is a joke. On hold for over an hour to be told they will not accept my return.

We ordered a pitman arm and idler arm. We accidently ordered two, we sent one back. We have been waiting on a refund for almost a month. I ran the tracking number and it says held at post office "per customer request". It has been sitting at the post office since Feb 3rd and it is now Feb 25th. Return window closes March 13, so I think they are trying to get the return to window to run out. I have contacted both Parts Geeks (they act like they dont understand and that I need to fix it). I have also contacted the USPS and am now hoping they can help. Do not purchase from this company!

The worst customer service I have encountered on the internet. They make it impossible to return a part that doesn't fit. Will never order from them again.
