I give it four stars only because I'm rating MY experience, which was a bit of fun to say the least. First off, I ordered the wrong part because there were two types for the same vehicle and I goofed. That's on me. When I tried to return it, it seems that Parts Avatar requires the part be shipped back in the OEM box it came in. (Except my part came in a plain brown cardboard box with insufficient bubble wrap loosely hanging off it.) When I took the part out of the box, my son went and recycled the box a day later. A week later or so, when I got the shop time to install the part, it turns out the part coming off the car was vastly different than the part I had ordered. So I get on the chat with ROGER, and he says I need the box. Great. Now I have to deal with a 30% restock fee, plus order the OTHER part. Well, the second part came much more quickly and it fit my vehicle (good thing too, because my son ripped that box and recycled it also). Anyway, most (almost all) of this griping isn't Parts Avatar's fault, so I recommend PA to anyone who needs quality OEM parts. Just make sure you are sure you're ordering the right part, save the box, and take photos of the box and the part when it arrives at your door.
I ordered brake parts for my wife's car and I got a pop up from a rep. He asked me if I needed help, I asked him to double check the fitment. He came back saying that I was about to order the wrong part, so he updated my cart with the right fitment, with products of better quality, plus a 10% discount for a new customer! Shipped in 3 days from alberta to quebec. Overall, this is the best e-autoparts store. It was to good to be true, but no thats true. I got my parts.

Ordered and paid for two parts, one of them wasn't available (strike one), the other compatible piece that said was in stock, just wasn't in stock so i had to get a refund. (Strike two) and then the one part that they did have, had already shipped by the time we got the refund sorted out. They would not accommodate a return on that item that was shipped even though its their fault my order was screwed up in the first place (Strike three). Now I'm stuck with a resonator assembly that i have to pay return shipping on! Thanks PartsAvatar! You're the best!

It been 2 weeks now and no shipping yet. They told me that it will be shipped in 3 or 4 days. I will be more than two weeks to ship. No excuses. Not recommanded. And on my account it say no refund at this time.

This is the worst parts place I've ever dealt with. I live in BC and ordered tires. I wanted to return them and found out I had to send them to Ontario. Funny thing is they were sent to me from Surrey BC. I talked on the useless and rude chat line with no help whatsoever. Emailed them and I asked them why I couldn't send them back where they came from. There was a "we're really sorry but we can't accept them at that facility. To send them back across the country plus pay 15% restocking fees, that would cost more than the tires. This is a good scam if you're on the right side of it. It's legal but sketchy as can be. Usually you return stuff where you buy them, not scammed into having to ship across a big country like Canada. I hope I won't be charged for this post too. Bad experience all around.

I made the mistake of purchasing a pair of monroe shocks for an import minivan. I installed them in no time and fit well but before I installed them I did a quick test before installing them and they did not seem very pressurized but thought no way its just me being picky, well boy was I wrong. Within two weeks the oil inside blew out the bottom and then after noticing the excessive bounce realized the shock base had litterally broken off no joke. Keep in mind this is a light duty minivan. So now I was fuming so I contacted the useless PRICKS at PARTS SCAMATAR and they told me--To get warranty sir you will have to buy two more and then we will decide on a refund or not. In other words like the other con artists -ROCK AUTO- this is basically a canadian version of them. Needless to say I said to the clown on the chat forget this BS and you can forget any other business as I have other canadian sites that actually appreciate and care how your business transaction goes. So forget these clowns and move on unless you want a turn at this..

I ordered Brake Parts on March 17,2022 and despite when ordering being advised the parts would be received on or about March 23,2022 - I learned on March 24,2022 that the parts were not shipped and are "delayed due to COVID"
I do find it concerning that the company REFUSES TO CANCEL the order even though they have not shipped the parts nor can they provide any information as to when the parts will be shipped. It is also concerning that the company does not have their phone lines staffed "due to COVID" so there is no way other using a "Chat" to even get any information or to speak to anyone

Some of the parts I ordered were substituted and they took a long time to arrive.
The same day I ordered from parts avatar I also ordered from rock auto. The rock auto parts arrived in 2 days from Tyler Texas and the parts avatar ones took well over a week from Mississauga. I live 2 hours from there. Hard to figure.
