They took 2 weeks to collect my parcel, then subsequently lost it, then told me that's the end of the matter. It was a returns item which I lost the value of. They claim it's in their T&Cs that they can lose parcels without consequence, unless you pay them £4.50 to not lose it.
You won't be entitled to Evri/other standard protection if you go through them. Book direct and DO NOT USE.

Bad service

Very poor service. They take money, but they have no obligations. I ordered a courier to pick up a parcel from Turkey to London. Already 3 days, they do not pick up the parcel. They write all sorts of nonsense that the courier must pick up the parcel before 6 pm, although it was already 7 pm. They ask if the courier contacted us. Yes, none of this happened. This is the worst service I have had to face. Nice people. I assure you! Do not use this service. This is a hoax and a disgrace to this whole service. Not recommended. If it were -10, then this is the only way to evaluate their service. Not RECOMMENDED!

Never use this company THEY ARE CROOKS AND CON MERCHANTS I sent a parcel by this load of crooks in March 2025. Their scam starts by them saying that the parcel was overweight (it was not). The amount I paid was £20.00 ish. Then they took another £88.70 stating that it was a surcharge for an overweight parcel. UPS were the carriers.
They could not produce any evidence for this wrongful charge. I could not believe this was happening it was clearly theft.
Today 3rd April 2025 they have taken another £1.80.
HOW CAN I STOP THIS. NEVER NEVER NEVER USE THIS COMPANY

Dreadful. I've used ParcelCompare since just before COVID to send my products around the UK. I build and sell bespoke PCs. The service has always been good. I've never had any issues. But the measure of a good company is how they support you when there are problems.

You will be asked about your product and encouraged to get insurance. The insurance isn't with the carrier. It's with ParcelCompare. I had packed the PC in a PC box. The type of box that all PCs are packed with. It turned up at my client with a smashed glass side panel but it was shattered rather than broken. So it's an impact issue.
My client took pictures that matched the policy requirement and these were sent on.
My insurance request was rejected due to the packaging not being acceptable. Let that sink in for a while.
So I paid for insurance. It was damaged in transit and I am now left to pay to resolve my clients issue too.

Moral of the story? They will do everything they can to not pay out on insurance. Be very careful and aware. I did everything I am supposed to and am now out of pocket but they still have my insurance payment on their profit and loss ledger.

And for the sake of it they lost a loyal and repeat customer. Disgraceful.

***ONCE YOU GIVE THEM PAYMENT DETAILS, THEY SET IT UP AS A REOCCURRING PAYMENT, AND THEN TAKE MORE MONEY AT A LATER DATE!**
Sent a parcel with them on the 16th December.
They took an extra £20.73 from my bank on the 3rd January claiming "extra handling" charges!

When i sent the item I know I put the correct weight and size. So there should not have been any extra charges. It should have been exactly what I was quoted and paid on the 16th December

Once you give them your bank details they set it up as a reoccurring payment, so they can then take money from your account as and when they please!

Terrible, terrible company, with terrible communication. We ordered a parcel for Express Delivery, in the original packaging. We had £50 worth of insurance provided for free and confirmation that, if the parcel were delivered outside of the agreed time, we would be liable for a refund for the delivery. The parcel arrived extremely late and the package was damaged. Naturally, we claimed the insurance and delivery fee.

Unfortunately, Parcel Compare lied about this. When we asked for a refund, given that it was their mistake, they referred us to their website and claimed (falsely) that they were not liable due to the vague wording. They also completely ignored our request for the delivery fee refund. We provided them with evidence, yet they denied the request erroneously.

Do not use this company if you want your package delivered safely and on time!

Booked a next day delivery with Parcel Compare. Dropped the parcel off well before the cut off, the courier failed to collect the parcel, which meant the parcel was not delivered in time. The parcel was then delivered to the wrong address and no update as to where it was, no card left or info on the courier website. So many failures in dealing with Parcel Compare, I would not recommend using them, go direct to the courier company, it allows you to deal direct with the people handling your parcel. To top it off, when I asked them to refund the cost of the failed service, they refused, as their terms and conditions state ………. Now to speak to the Consumer Rights about how to claim the costs back and any potential compensation due to their failures. My top tip - choose someone else to handle your parcels!

They are cheaper in the market because there is a reason behind. They will make you pay so much extra upon delivery otherwise you are not able to get your parcel. Please read all the negative reviews and you will know. I sent new year presents to my mom abroad. The stuff cost me £120 and I paid £45 delivery charges and I know the custom in my country, it should be 30-50 pounds for this item. But upon delivery they ask my mom to pay £250 customs charges and they don't have any proof ( not a single document to prove that they pay £250 customs) I sent them 20 emails but only got reply once that my country customs are not giving them any invoice or details that why the customs is so high, and if I want my parcel to be delivered then I have to pay £250, I told them to send me back I don't want to pay that much towards customs, firstly they said it will cost me £122, and now they want me to pay £400 to get parcel back to uk and if I don't pay them they will keep the parcel. Customer service is rubbish and rude. I want to abuse them a lot but I can't do it here, hopefully you will understand my feeling. Use other services like Evri, dpd or ups they are maybe £5 to £10 expensive but at least they are proper companies not like cowboy company like them. AVOID THEM IF YOU DONT WANT TO SUFFER MENTAL BREAKDOWN LIKE ME AFTER SPENDIND £120 + £45 I STILL NEED TO PAY £400 MORE, OTHERWISE THEIR MANAGERS OR TEAM LEADERS WILL DISTRIBUTE MY PARCEL TO THEIR FAMILY MEMBERS. I AM GOING TO COMPLAIN TO UK TRADING STANDARDS ABOUT THEIR SCAM.

Absolutely appalling service. Booked a parcel, made an error with one of the sides measurements for the box. They got back to me saying Fedex charged extra and gave me the measurements of the parcel which FEDEX provided them which were incorrect: two sides had wrong measurements on their end. I had photographic evidence for those two sides to prove that Fedex made a mistake. Lewis Enfiled from Parcelcompare flat out refused to submit an appeal to Fedex to question an extra charge of £40 stating they would need the evidence for all three sides. Complete bonkers! I kept explaining that I am questioning two sides only as didn't manage to take full photo of thrid side due to parcel being large and I was on my own trying to take a photo and holding tape measure in two paces! Nope, he just refuses to submit appeal
Plus they went ahead and took money from my card for extra weight adjustment without my prior knowledge. Now go and try to get money back from them
No contact number, nothing
When I asked him about his supervisor he proceeded to ignore my request.

I think it is a one-man company, to be honest.
I would avoid it.
First and last time booking with them.
Transglobal is the place to go to instead of parcelcompare.

Don't use them at all. Thieves

Don't use this company. They are thieves. I sent 3 large parcel and only 2 were delivered. I insured the parcel and only was compensate 1/3 of that. It doesn't cover even one item in my box. They don't follow their complain procedure properly. They are not fully aware of what their procedure is. Incompetent company. To this date, I have no idea where my box is. No explanation.
I am going to make a small claim and report to the ombudsman. And already contacted the media so they can be shamed.

I'm still trying to work out if they are fraudulent or just incompetent, but either way don't learn the hard way like I did. My item was destroyed in transit and despite my having packaged the item securely and paying for additional insurance they have refused to pay. They also added an additional 'surcharge' a week after delivery for reasons unknown. I have blocked them with my bank, but the money taken is unrecoverable unfortunately. Just an awful experience from a company that needs to be out of business quickly.

3 days later they took a further £385 and helped themselves to my credit card!
The reason they said my parcel weighed 38st
It weighed under 14kg? It's in the hands of my credit card company now! 😠

I used this company to send documents to Canada. When making the booking it generated label and declared that as it was documents no further customs paperwork would be needed. I tried to drop it to a drop off location for courier and they couldn't accept because it apparently needed 3 copies of commercial invoices which I did not have obviously. I then arranged collection instead and item was collected then I received an email from courier to say missing invoice causing delay. Parcel Compare were useless in helping. Would never use them again and don't advise anyone to. Better to do direct with the courier company.

Awful company, please don't trust them that what they first charge you will be all they charge you. They took more money out of my account (a lot at that? My parcel weighed 6kg but was tall as it was an electric airer, I returned it and it's now cost just over £90 to return it with the extra they just helped themselves to out of my account.) The pick up driver commented on how light it was. They can do daylight robbery and get away with it

Raised the request on Tuesday night and booked collection from home for Thursday, so I can print the labels on Wednesday when I go to the office and can use the printer there. There was some "glitch" with the system and the labels did not generate. I emailed the support email address asking for the labels to be emailed to me by lunchtime on Wednesday. Nothing all day, despite my chasing via email. Emailed at 17.21 hrs and said I wish to cancel and get a refund. They sent me the labels on Thursday and said they had re-scheduled the collection from Thursday to Friday. I work full time from home and have no printer, so I emailed them to either cancel and give me a refund or reschedule the collection to end of next week so I have time to print the labels. Support pretended they did not understand and kept emailing me the labels. This is insulting, frustrating and disappointing. Will NEVER USE PARCEL COMPARE again!

Avoid at all costs

Please avoid this company at all costs.

BEWARE: This company imposes their own terms and conditions and will not refund for delayed delivery.

We sent a parcel via UPS 48hr international service. The parcel was collected from the service point 48hrs late and took 7 days to arrive. UPS admitted it was their liability and agreed to a refund but because we didn't book the collected directly through UPS we had to speak to Parcel Compare to process the refund.

Parcel Compare's customer service was next to useless. They disconnected the chat whilst I was typing a reply and would not refund, citing their terms and conditions, despite UPS agreeing to a refund.

They may be cheaper than booking direct but beware you are getting a lesser service and will leave you high and dry if something goes wrong.

Stay clear! Nothing short of crooks

Absolutely shocking service. Failed to collect, then lied to twice by customer services regarding fictional rebooked collection. Had paid for next day collection and next day delivery, when that failed I tried to print labels and drop off at local hub, couldn't be done after being told 2messages previously that it could.
Then asked to cancel, sure, additional £10 charge and get your money back in 2weeks! Items were eventually collected 6days later and delivered on day 8, one item went to the wrong depot.
Will not offer refund as express 24(next day) is not a timed service apparently. And next day collection doesn't stand for anything.
Two days off work wasted waiting for collection. I'd have been cheaper and quicker buying a printer!
Did offer measly compensation as credit but I refused as I will never be using these crooks again.
AVOID! Oh and VAT IS NOT INCLUDED In the price quoted.

Scammers don't use

I send 2 packages abroad and when they arrived they never send custom charges and I spend 167£ and got my packages back now they charged me 140 something for returning them! No phone number takes 5 days to answer question and nobody to help or take responsibility please don't use
