I have been sending my novel to paper true Chapter by chapter. I have worked with Tess and Angie I have been pleased with the help they have given me. Checking grammar, word usage and leaving comments on how to improve it.
The proof-reading of a paper presented at a scientific conference was done very well and within a very short time-span. I as well appreciated the communication with the company: my paper was accepted at midnight and I needed assistance with the payment. Everything was solved immediately and the experience was overall a pleasant one.
Their work is excellent, and they offer suggestions within the academic specialization, they complete their work within the specified time, their prices are appropriate, and they are very cooperative.
I needed my paper to be edited and formated. Only very few edits were done on the paper. No formatting was done on the paper at all. I could have done the edits by myself instead of wasting my money. I wasted almost $300.00 for nothing. I am very disappointed. Almost everything on the paper came back the same way just as I wrote it. I was not impressed with the job at all.

We have been in touch with your editor and we see that he made a total of 970 changes with 615 insertions, 321 deletions, 14 formatting changes and 20 comments in your paper and it is confusing to us as to why you are saying that we made very few changes to the document. In some cases, where the customer requests a specific formatting style, then we adhere to it, but if the formatting is not specified, then the document is formatted just to keep the style consistent throughout the document.
The editor also made comments for deleting any repeated content, updating citations and updated the sentences to make the document more effective. We always try our best to satisfy our customers and we are disappointed that you were not. We hope that you will give us a chance sometime to correct your impression of our service.

My experience was horrible. They missed the deadline by over 2 months. The "finished" copy they sent back to me was riddled with errors, many added, for example
They changed
"I lit my cigerette"
TO
"I lighted my cigerette"
There were mistakes on every page. They won't even refund the money i paid. They offered me more services, that I have no faith in.
SAVE your money, this company is NOT for editing novels. After reading so many reviews I now assume the majority are fake/produced from papertrue itself.
I have spent 50 hours fixing the horrible mistakes they added to my novel so far. My friend is # 30h and not even 25% into it, after I did a run through.

As mentioned in your review, our editor changed the sentence to "lighted a cigarette". This infact is absolutely acceptable usage (ref https://dictionary.cambridge.org/dictionary/english/lighted). There are numerous other examples like these. We have always offered to change the editor and give you a complete re-edit if you so desired but our offers were promptly declined.
If you look at hundreds of reviews on this and other platforms, our customers seem to be extremely happy with our service.
You question the veracity of these reviews. That is a little ironical - we could claim your review is also posted by a competitor.
We are still amenable to completely resolving this issue by offering you a complete revision. To compensate for any inconvenience, we are also willing to offer you free typesetting services which you will need anyway to publish your book.
