I bought so many Christmas gifts on here in 2016! They arrived quickly and were exactly what I pictured. Honestly even better than what I hoped for.
I ordered some memory foam from them and it showed that famous hand imprint that usually stays in the memory foam for a second or so. Well, this cheap stuff couldn't make an imprint even for a millisecond! Then to make matters worse. I write a review about it and they publish it for 1 day. I read it and the next day It's gone. Haven't shopped there since:-(

This product was listed As-Is. But listing said to be fully functional. It was NOT fully functional as it was missing parts and could not be used at all. I called them to complain. But, they would not accept a return. I will never do business with them again. You'll do much better buying items on ebay as their sellers are actually incented to stand behind their sales and make the customer happy. Overstock doesn't care.
Every time I order, they offer cheap shipping and take returns easily. The best!

I will never shop here again. Placed an order on Dec. 15,2016 Site said guaranteed by Christmas. So I clicked on the details, and it said your order qualifies for delivery by Christmas. Wish I had copied, and pasted this but I trusted this company. Well they sent me an email that I would be getting it Dec. 28 thru Jan. 1st. I thought this was just a typical email they send to everyone. WRONG, since they hadn't sent me an email that my package had shipped, I got online, and contacted chat, the person was very rude, and said that my order of $136 plus taxes did not qualify for this offer. They are such liars, so I would suggest you copy, and paste any dealings you have with Overstock.com, and they will lie through their teeth, and could care less about your business..
I'm 15 and saved up enough money to buy my long time girlfriend a diamond ring. They had a 30% off sale on here so I got it here. I was going to give it to her for Christmas, but three weeks after I ordered it, and on the tracking page it said "in transit" (for the 16th day in a row), it still didn't come. I told them it didn't come and they said they couldn't refund me. So, I saved up enough money over 6 months to spend on my girlfriend for Christmas, and it didn't come at all because of their $#*!ty $#*!ing reliability. Plus, THEY DIDNT PAY ME BACK. All my hard work and chores went to waste and my girlfriend didn't even get a present from me until i saved up enough money again 4 months later to make it up (on a different website of course). Screw these guys and do yourself a favor, don't buy from them.

Just had the most annoying transaction with overstock.com. My order clearly shows a Free Shipping by 12/25 banner, yet there is a shipping charge. After an HOUR on the chat system they still would not waive the fee. I was told two completely different justifications about the fee (did not meet minimum order and also was not close enough to 12/25). Really, it's all BS. Their banner clearly states that shipping is free. There is also no shipping charge listed in the Shipping Options menu. Yet, they charged for shipping. See image below (hiding the item itself). Really, I couldn't care less about the $5 - it's not even my money. It's just the principle of the thing. Such poor customer service. Shame on Overstock.com

It was better before it became well-known and big. Quality loss when growing is typical to many companies not only of this kind.
I've purchased from Overtock in the past and have had fairly good experiences. Although returns are not economical, at least their shipping was decent. No more. I ordered 3 rugs pads all at the same time. One shipped immediately, but an identical one took several days longer to ship for no apparent reason. The 3rd rug pad never shipped at all. When I called to check on the problem after a week, I was told to wait 1- 2 more days while they "checked things out." After waiting the entire 2 days, I was told that they had decided I had waited long enough (no kidding!) and they would send another. Then waited 2 more days for that shipment to leave. When the thing finally arrived (I've lost count of the days by now) it wasn't even in a box. Just the rug pad's own transparent plastic wrapper with a label slapped on it. Lesson learned-- if the purchase is intended as a surprise for someone in your household or if you just want a little privacy, don't order from Overstock.
Placed an $1800 order for chairs that said in stock and spoke to 3 sales reps at Overstock and they all confirmed the same. Then ordered and they all the sudden where not in stock. Really pissed me off. Not happy and staff seem unhelpful and not willing to put forth the effort to help.
If you order ANYTHING that you could have the slightest chance of returning (size etc) FORGET IT!
Consider that there's NO customer service and you won' be disappointed. When I order I make sure I can throw the amount of $ out the window and be ok with it. That's the only way you'll be happy with them. The only issue I had (which was a simple size exchange) turned into a full blown return. Don't bother.
I ordered a new unlocked phone which was set to arrive for Friday. When I got the phone (which came poorly packed with only two air cushions in the box, really come on) the phones box was kind of beat up but luckily the phone wasn't trashed. Even though it was banging around in the box. Turns out the phone isn't even unlocked! I sent them an email and they did reply the next day as I asked for a call to straighten things out explaining that I needed a working phone for next week as a lot of my business calls are over the phone and I needed a phone next week. The rep only apologized and assured me that it is defective but rare and they can only have it replaced even though it just needed the unlock code. Anyway I'm getting it next week but I still don't have what I ordered and don't know what to expect. This whole experience has left a bad taste and I don't think I'll buy from them again as they don't appear to be dependable and it would've been nice for them to at least overnight the phone. Amazon and Newegg have come through for me and done exactly that for me when something went wrong. They know how to take care of the customer.
I chatted online with customer service on 11/20 regarding a damaged shipment. Within 5 minutes, she had a new item scheduled to be shipped out to me. No stress and no hassle. I received my item damaged, she was very apologetic, asked me to describe what happened, and then proceeded to write up another order of re-shipment of the same item. I will continue to purchase from Overstock.com. Pleasure doing business with a company that takes care of their customers. Thank you for an easy and great shopping experience

Answer: Hey, I would be very careful. I have transacted with Overstock three times and I don't believe there is as much security in terms of guarantee as with Amazon. And, if you buy items fulfilled by Amazon (meaning the product ships from Amazon's warehouse) you are even more guaranteed. For example, I bought some dinner napkins from an Amazon seller, fulfilled by Amazon. They were not what they were supposed to be and Amazon issued me a credit immediately and scheduled UPS to pick up my item to return. I'm very confident that with Amazon you will get quality service and if the product is not as described or substandard you will be in better hands especially with Amazon fulfilled items. Overstock is just not up to par and I wouldn't purchase something like a medicated cream from Overstock until they get it together.
