“Quality water feature & excellent customer service”

Water feature ordered and paid for through PayPal. I received a PayPal receipt straight away including an invoice number. There is an IT issue as I didn't receive an acknowledgment from the company. I telephoned the company 9 working days later, after about 10 minutes the phone was answered and I was told my water feature would be sent out straight away. The next day I received my water feature; it's set up, working perfectly and is clearly good quality. To put this minor delay into context I am currently waiting for the rest of my order from a major DIY chain that I paid for in April so I am very happy with my experience with Outdoor Living & the customer service was excellent.

“Faulty Goods, no response from supplier!”

Glaze on the Pottery Water Feature is faulty. Emails sent, no reply. Called and had to wait over 40 mins to get through. Mike said he would look into it, 9 days later still no response and cannot get through even after waiting an hour, line just rings! They are excellent at taking your money though! I personally would never use this company again. Please look at all the other review sites before you part with your hard earnt money.

They are excellent at taking your money though!
I personally would never use this company again. Please look at all the other review sites before you part with your hard earnt money.

Ordered a pump to replace a broken one. They sent the wrong product. The product sent was not compatible. Unable to contact the company via their website (no reply from the contact form). Eventually got through on the phone only to be told that this was 'our mistake' and we had to pay the return costs. Will not be using them again, and would warn anyone else not to either.

3 weeks to receive an extension cord which was the wrong item (double head instead of single) so didn't fit in garden trunking to be buried. I chased the company after 2 weeks from ordering and was told they were "extremely busy in the warehouse with so many orders" despite the 3-5 day dispatch claim on their website. I finally emailed and requested a refund and 2 days after the email was sent (and no response) the wrong item was dispatched, Really poor service, no customer service and I don't believe they even had the correct item in stock. This company trades under several names, Beware and Avoid.

AVOID AVOID AVOID For the last several months I have been trying to resolve a service issue with this company. What a shower they are, they have ignored messages - failed to even pick up the phone - I've been insulted (Eventually getting a response via e mail) Patronised - told that I am suffering from 'buyers remorse' If it weren't for the fact that this issue is still not resolved - at my expense - I would laugh - this company is a joke - there are cheaper better products and again I say - AVOID

Bought water feature last year, used it over the summer and very happy with it. Emptied the water for the winter and covered with the supplied cover. Spring came and refilled water feature only to find water was leaking out of the fiberglass water reservoir. On inspecting found cracks in base and fiberglass covering coming away from fibreboards that reservoir constructed with.
No problem I thought, sent email and photos, reply was quick with statement that they would send out some resin repair kit. Question whether this would resolve the faults. Following the instructions with the 3 x small putty repair kits the reservoir still leaks due to insufficient putty, also no solution was given to the fiberglass sides coming away from the fibreboard.
On contacting customer services again was informed the resin kits where a gesture of good will, with no offer of replacement of faulty item which is obviously not fit for purpose.
No reply to my further emails outlining the issues and request for refund or replacement, the unit being well within the 12 month warranty stated on the website.

Tip for consumers:
there is no effective warranty or worthwhile customer services

Any good reviews must be written by the company. No customer service and faulty products. Take your money then good luck.

No email confirmation i phoned and was told it would be emailed to me and i would receive my water fountain next day. 5 weeks later Still no email or fountain had to get refund through paypal. I'm not the only one seems to be common

"I dont usually complain this is a first for me. I'm absolutely furious
I ordered a cantilever base from Outdoor living. Delivery was fine.
I wanted to arrange a return OMG what a disaster this turned out to be. The company don't accept emails, and you cannot get through on the phone to arrange a return either. Company is only open from 9-1. I tried so many times to call with which resulted in phone just ringing. No way to leave a message either. What sort of company work like this.
I eventually got through and spoke To someone who said they would get there colleague to get a RMA number for me and would be in touch for collection. No email/no call back. I called again a couple of times. Couldn't get through. Eventually did and was told it's over 30 days and would not take item back. I explained how bad the service has been and not my fault I cannot get through. What company don't let you leave messages on phone or email them.
I work for the NHS and am frontline. What was I meant to sit on phone daily from 9-1 so that I could talk to someone. I explained this to two people and there was no leeway at all or any apologies for not being able to contact anyone for so long. The man I spoke to lastly said I don't care if you work for coke cola or NHS it's still over 30 days. Shocking. I hope he don't get Covid!
My words stay clear of this company they are very unprofessional, terrible customer service, appalling to talk to someone, stay away buy from another company who will be more professional and you might actually be able to email/call.

When you have a problem the attitude stinks. My advice is don't go there in the first place. I had a problem with a water feature not pumping water properly and sent pictures and the guy agreed that it wasn't working properly and said it's the manufacturer' problem not the seller and won't refund and it's only a few weeks old.

They never answers any of 5 emails in 10 weeks, lucky if you get them to answer phone. Never any apologies. The only way I found the truth was to speak direct to manufacturer. Even the last time I rang they said my order would be another 3-4 weeks. When I told them the manufacturer said they had received my order so they should check, outdoor living replied ' oh yes it is here, when do you want it delivered'
Use this company at your peril. Ypumhave been warned

THE WORST COMPANY EVER TO BUY FROM... BOUGHT AN OUTDOOR CLOCK AND THERMOMETER AND IT DIDN'T KEEP TO TIME. THEY REFUSED TO REFUND THE COSTS OF POSTAGE TO ME £5.00 THEY ALSO REFUSED TO REFUND THE RETURN POSTAGE £5 AND TO ADD INSULT TO INJURY, CHARGE ME 10% ADMIN COSTS £1.63.! THIS IS A VERY BAD ONLINE COMPANY WHO WILL CHARGE YOU IF YOUR ITEM BREAKS, OR IS FAULTY. THEY SAID ALL THE CHARGES WERE OK WITH TRADING STANDARDS. BUYER BEWARE.

Having ordered some garden furniture online and the payment being processed I received a booking confirmation with the understanding that I would have my items in 3-5 working days. I was wrong; on the 5th day I rang to be told that the supplier had put there prices up and they needed to try to get the right price for them and they would ring me back. I heard nothing for 2 days before I had to call back again to be told that there was nothing they could do and the money would be transferred back with out discussing with me and if I wanted the items I would then have to re-order the items at now double the price! Disgusting trading practice do not buy from them!

The product did not do as advertised, and they did not refund the return, even though they said they would. I bought two bird scarer solar spinner motors https://www.outdoorlivinguk.co.uk/solar-powered-spinner-motor.html.

When I fitted them they did not spin. It was a sunny day. I pointed the solar panel directly at the sun and they did nothing. I tried turning the spindle and after releasing the spindle a bit one of them spun weakly when pointed at the sun and not at all otherwise. I sent them back.

Mike Hall said in his defence that you have to point them directly at the sun for them to work. For me that was not acceptable, I don't have time to go out and reset the spinners all day as the sun traverses 180 degrees across the sky from East to West! I might as well be the bird scarer myself!

He would not refund them 100%, so I tried for 50% which he agreed to. He did NOT refund even that. I chased twice in the next month but no avail. I wish I had read the many reviews just like this one for this company before I bought. I hope you do.

I have nothing but praise for this company and the product I received.
I purchased a solar water feature at the Harrogate Garden Show. I was a little worried when the goods did not arrive on the arranged date especially as I could not get answers to my calls and emails, and then I read the reviews and became really worried.
However these were unfounded when I did speak to the salesman who actually sold the feature to me, and he told me the goods were being delivered by special carrier the following week and I would be informed by text on exact time. This was all carried out and I am so pleased with the feature which is working beautifully. I would just like to say "thank you" to the company and to tell the public not to believe all the reviews. I placed an order with outdoor living on 27/5/18 when I heard nothing I emailed them and thought I might as well try to phone and my call was answered first time by a very helpful gentleman and told my order would be delivered the next day. The courier texted me the next day to say delivery would be between 1pm - 2pm true to there text my parcel was delivered at 1-10pm thank you outdoor living I would not hesitate to order from you again.
