The Otterbox Pro XT with Mag Safe is the most protective case I found for the iphone14 ProMax. I tried a competitor's screen protector and case, but the protection was not as secure. I did not have any issues putting screen protector on phone or placing my phone into the protective case. So glad I purchased Otterbox products.

Can not return product

I accidentally ordered the wrong product for my iPad. Tried every way possible to return the item, but none of the options will provide a RMA return merchandise authorization. No customer service.

Never again

I only am giving a 1 because there is no option for a ZERO. Both my wife and I are having separation issues by the volume buttons and plug in section. Took pictures and paid for shipping replacement. 60 days later call to check status order was cancelled without notifying us or refunding money. Started process over to basically have same thing happen except didn't have to pay again 'as a courtesy' Courtesy? I already paid and got nothing... On the 3rd try and expect to see the same BS. SPEAD THE WORD, OTTERBOX IS A SHAM!

I bought the Otterbox Defender Pro for my Apple iPhone 12 pro max. The installation directions showed just some incomprehensible pictures -- no directions. So I went to the Otterbox website and clicked on the corresponding video: NO VIDEO AVAILABLE was the error message that popped up. Then I called Otterbox support. A recording of the CEO came on the line who said "Due to COVID-19 phone support is suspended..." I suggest you deal with a different company that offers support to its product's users.

HINT: You have to tear the cover into three pieces before trying to put the phone into the case.

I have used otter box for all my phones for the last 15 years. Despite dropping my phone numerous times it never brouyot even cracked. Their customer service is outstanding!

I have been using the Defender series on many generations of iphones. Their quality for the holsters especially, seems to be worse. Paying the shipping on their "Free Warranty replacement is a joke"

My current iphone 14 Pro holster corner broke after 4 months. A free replacement shipped from Otterbox customer service is $9.99 (slow mail - shipping/handling). More $ for priority. Plus their website self serve portal is not working for the 14 Pro. Had to call. Their Hold/Answer time 8/23/23 was 30 minutes.

I can get a very similar deal off Otterbox/Amazon just paying outright. Instant ordering. So the warranty, really isn't a warranty. These ought to come with 2 from the get go. Or two shipped on a warranty replacement.

I can get a pack of 2 knock-off's, delivered the next day for $12.94 including tax and shipping. If they both give me 2 months of use each. I will be roughly at the same point again 4 months down the road. So I bought the 2 knock offs too, so I have something to use tomorrow. While waiting on the slow mail $9.99 warranty replacement from Otterbox.

On my next generation iphone purchase... don't expect a return customer.

I dropped my phone leaving my apt. It dropped from the 2nd floor, bouncing the whole way down, landing on the ground. Low and behold, not a single ding or crack! Yay! Thank you otterbox

Horrible product. It will break and they will not uphold the warranty that it comes with. There are allot better and cheaper options out there. Don't waste your time and money.

My husband always buys Otterbox phone cases because they're really strong and protect his phone really well. I got him a wireless charging system, which he liked okay. I also got him a dash & windshield car mount, but he didn't think he'd use it so I contacted the company to return it. The item cost about $20, and the charger was about $100. I had a $30 discount, so I guess they decided to take the majority of the discount from the car mount because they only refunded me $5. Seriously? For that I would have kept it and sold it myself or given it to a friend.

And they have no customer service, supposedly due to keeping employees safe during the pandemic. They supposedly have a live chat between 10-2 MT (don't laugh! I'm serious, 4 hours a day!), and no phone help. I'm not sure why their employees can't work remotely like other companies. So you have to submit a message and wait 72 hours. When I wrote the message it said I had the wrong order number and wouldn't take the message (I checked it several times and typed it in several times), so I had to put it under a general inquiry and write the order number in the body of the message. We'll see if I hear back.

I would recommend if you're going to buy their products that you buy from a third party like Amazon or Ebay.

I ordered the wrong phone case by mistake, immediately contacted customer service to explain/cancel and within an hour received notification that the order had been cancelled and money would be refunded. Then my account was debited. And several days later the case arrived. I contacted the customer service dept that responded to the cancellation request (USA) and was asked to send back the case by registered mail to have the cost of the case refunded - but not the postage (company policy, of course it is). Explained that it was unreasonable to expect me to incur the cost of return (about half the value of the phone case) when they had failed to activate the cancellation for which I had received acknowledgement, and I requested an email contact for a manager. Couldn't give out those details apparently and asked to phone Mon-Fri to speak to a manager. So, explained it was unreasonable to expect me to incur international phone charges (I am in the UK) when they had failed to activate the cancellation and again asked for email contact for a manager. This time I was told to contact the EU customer service base, and they have responded by saying I should return the item by registered mail and that they can't refund the cost of the postage (company policy and there is absolutely no-one around who could authorise that). I have responded - trying to get someone to understand that is unreasonable for me to incur charges for their error - but am not holding my breath. Absolutely hopeless take-the-money-and-run customer service. Never again!

Update. Contacted Colorado Better Business Bureau, and receipt was sent. Coincidence? They definitely need to get their customer service act together.

Will not send receipt for purchase, and website is USELESS. Absolutely NOT AMAZING customer service, and no contact can be made with ANYONE at this company. I have tried for iver a month to get a copy of my purchase receipt. No luck, they suck.

Purchased an iPhone 14 folio case instead of an iPhone 14 Pro by mistake. I literally noticed the error when i'd clicked submit. I contacted the customer 'chat' to cancel the order. Filled in their cancel order form and was assured it would be fine. Within minutes... The order went from received to processing and dispatched in several hours. I wouldn't normally complain about efficiency, but why didn't the customer service chat operator assist further? On escalating the issue, I'd received the case delivery before the customer service even responded. One email even told me there is no order cancellation form... after screen shot provided, they told me the'd request to have this removed from the web site!
I've spend months with otterbox asking for a return freight con-note as I wasn't paying for the return. I never opened the FED-EX delivery bag.
In short - Otterbox gave the run around excuses of it's not otterbox policy. They have the case returned, refunded, but they won't reply / offer a credit for the return freight ~ return freight invoice provided. I feel the customer service side let down an efficient transaction. There needs to be more accountability for order cancelation moments after completion.

AVOID OTTERBOX!

If it could give them less than one star, I would. I have been an Otterbox customer for about 20 years, & I will NEVER buy one again! My husband removed his phone from his pocket & dropped it (less than 4 feet) onto the ground; it fell onto a corner & the screen shattered! We requested a replacement online in 2021 & never received a reply; I called again on 2/7/22 to request a replacement again & they said they had no record of the order in the system & they put the order in again over the phone, assuring me that a replacement should arrive within 5-7 days. Today is 3/8/22, & WE STILL HAVE NOT RECIEVED A REPLACEMENT. I called again today and they said they sent us an email requesting photos in February TO THE WRONG EMAIL ADDRESS! Since we made the initial request LAST YEAR, WE DO NOT HAVE the old case. They said because we didn't respond to the email they sent last month (TO THE WRONG EMAIL ADDRESS, & threw the damaged case out, they will NOT BE REPLACING IT. This is such a racket they are running to fleece unsuspecting customers that it extremely upsets me. I paid about $75 when I bought it, & that's a lot of money to just flush away.
SIDE NOTE: The manager I spoke with stated that if you do not buy their cases from an authorized retailer, they WILL NOT HONOR ANY SORT OF WARRANTY; THIS INCLUDES AMAZON (unless the company is a preferred provider like Verizon for example.) I purchased mine from Verizon, so it should have been covered,, but they are still refuse.

Going Down Hill FAST

Like every other major corporation in American, Otterbox too is quickly going downhill. For starters, I absolutely HATE when a company plays on this whole COVID nonsense as an excuse to not have to provide decent customer service... Otterbox is literally a $650 MILLION ($650,000,000) dollar a year company. They actually have the audacity to expect their customer base to be so freaking stupid as to believe that the reason they can't provide phone support is because of the COVID scamdemic.

Any company that makes $650 MILLION dollars each year, absolutely DOES have the means and access to the technology to provide remote phone support through their work-from-home employees. To imply anything less is an insult to my intelligence, your intelligence, and the intelligence of EVERY customer that they have!

I have over 17 years in business management experience, so trust me when I say that Otterbox absolutely COULD provide remote service if they wanted to... so the fact that they choose not to, is purely an economic decision, nothing more. Their choosing to not provide phone support is nothing more than them using the COVID excuse to cut that expense out of their budget as a means to increase profits. PERIOD.

I am absolutely FLOORED that a paying customer doesn't have the ability to DIRECTLY contact a company when there is an issue with the purchase. Either an automated chat system, or email... I will NEVER purchase from Otterbox again. For now on, I will GLADLY pay less money on eBay for an inferior product that ironically provides the EXACT same level of customer support.

Goodbye Otterbox.
