Otterbox

The Otterbox company will only warranty their cases, even though they claim their cases will protect the phones. My phone shattered with an Otterbox case on it and they will only replace the Otterbox case, this company doesn't stand by what they sell. DO NOT BUY! The customer service reps don't care either. Please stay away and beware.

1. Ordering program doesn't warn that Otterbox won't deliver to PO Boxes -- took the PO Box address, send me a confirmation e-mail, billed my card, and produced the phone cases;

2. Took a full month to receive product -- ordered 9/10 and received on 10/10;

3. Wouldn't send to post office, and made my poor Fed Ex driver spend 40 minutes on dirt roads to deliver this garbage to me;

4. Wouldn't cancel my order;

5. The phone cases are flimsy crap; and

6. The customization is terrible -- the photos are severely cropped. The color is wretched. The design isn't printed on a case -- just printed on cheap plasticky paper, then cut out and pressed to back of phone case.

One of the cases where I wish zero stars was a review option.

Well i bought a otterbox case defender series for a iphone 14 promax through amazon en February this year, i can't stand the cover around the hard part is so loose and can't clipped in to the belt clip sometimes i just call ottherbox and they said they warranty but why get thw same thing i already know is going to happen again

I purchased an Otter box Defender Pro for my new Galaxy A7 lite pad. The pad is just the right size to make it hard for my hand to hold it without getting fingerprints on the screen. I'm sure I am going to drop it, so a case seemed the best solution.

The Otterbox came in two pieces, the case, and a cover that snaps over it. There were no instructions on how to disassemble the case. I went to the Otterbox website, where the "manual" for this model only tells me how to clean it. Until I can open the case, I can't get the pad into it. It's designed to not be opened, so now what?

I purchased an iPhone 14 pro and insisted on having an Otterbox for protection. Two months later I was driving down the road at about 40 MPH when I and my passengers heard a tumbling on the car. We immediately decided it was my phone. I made a U-turn and retrieved it. The Emergency SOS was blaring, and I had an emergency operator on the phone. I had to tell them that I was not in an accident by that my phone had flew off my hood and hit the ground. The phone was saved without a scratch and the Otterbox barely has a nick on it. Thanks for saving the day! I would purchase this product again!

I have been using otterbox since I bought my first cell phone. I am a contractor and they need to take a lot of abuse. Up until now, I have never had a problem with warranty claims. However, now hours of hold time and no one picks up. I keep trying to reset my password but never get the reset email. My phone case is no longer in stock so i can't get the replacement part I need. They don't respond to emails and dont answer the phone. The chat option never has a live person just a useless chatbot that refers you to the phone number that no one answers. Sad to see a once-good company go down like this.

Had a case and while on a trip the phone was left on top of the car after a stop. About 15 minutes down the road, realized that the phone was not in the car so I back tracked to the rest stop and retraced my steps. Could not find the phone so I got back on the road and started looking along the shoulder. I spotted it about 2 miles down on the shoulder. I picked the phone up and was very surprised that it didn't have any damage after flying off the roof at 65 miles per hour.

I just left my cell on the side of my pickup above the fule door. I min later I heard it hit the ground at what I know was 40+ mph on old Street. My s9 is all glass. Not a scratch on it. I'm glad now one drove over it. I cal laugh now lol.

I have always owned an iPhone. I always purchased the Otterbox. Now I have the iPhone 14 Pro Max (since December). I purchased the Otterbox for this model. Now the front is not plastic, it is glass. To my knowledge, I have not dropped my phone; however, the back of my phone is 100% shattered (with the Otterbox on it)! I called Otterbox and they said, "We do not insure the phone, only the Otterbox. If your phone breaks, we cannot do anything." Are you out of your mind? My phone is very expensive and I "thought" the Otterbox would keep it safe. No Way! I will NEVER, EVER purchase an Otterbox again and I will tell everyone I know to stay away from Otterbox! Horrible company! I do not want to take off the case for a picture as my phone will fall to pieces, it is totally shattered! The only proof of purchase I have is on my bank statement which I will not put here.

I purchased an OtterBox case for my Motorola one 5g. Case fit perfect. Everything lined up. Have dropped my phone twice and not a scratch. The only thing that I don't like is not having a belt clip. I have to carry my phone in my pocket. The Motorola one 5g isn't small. Just wish they would work on a belt clip option.

I bought this case to protect my new iPhone. Otterbox did just the opposite. It damaged my phone. I have been buying Otterbox cases for years. This company has changed. I have heard they have started making their cases in China not the US anymore. First of all the case did not come with a screen protector like it used to. I read about the iPhone 12 screen being the hardest ever so I thought you did not need a screen protector. Wrong. My phone kept falling from the belt clip and getting lost. It damaged my phone from falling out of the belt holster. I went to make a call and couldn't find my phone. I got out of the vehicle and found it under my tire. If I hadn't just happened to make a call I would have run over my phone. It fell out of the belt holster again. This is the worst case I have ever owned. I do not recommend it at all.

After accidentally dropping my phone (protected by an Otterbox cover) on a gravel driveway with the screen facing up I backed over it with my F250. The screen clearly showed the tire tred rolling over it and the case showed some minor damage from the gravel overall the phone was undamaged. I was amazed and grateful. Thank you Otterbox!

It's seriously a horrible company. They overwork and underpay customer service representatives, that's why it's a horrible service.
The company makes its money off of the shipping they ask customers to pay. When you email CS they will just respond with a generic response just to get customers out of their way.
They treat those with functional autism horribly. Over all, it's an incredibly crappy company.

We were in an accident and our cases got damaged. I ordered a warranty replacement and my wife got hers but mine was denied because I could not provide a photo of the case. Since the case was damaged and not holding onto the phone I threw away our cases. I can not understand why my wife did not have to provide a photo and I did. Double standards and inconsistency in their warranty fulfillments. After all the years of being a loyal Otterbox customer, I will now obtain phone cases from a different manufacturer. Very disappointed with Otterboxes Warranty process and the lack of care and customer service. I gave them 1 star only because I had to.

I paid for my item on the 15th September and it is 24th October 2014 and i am still waiting and i don't like there reviews This site sounds like a real Scam. I have been on to Pay Pol who are investagating my claim at the moment. This site is to good to be true. As the saying goes if its to good to be true then it is. The clothes on the pictures are lovely and most of the comments say when and if they do receive an item it's in bits. I should have looked at this site before i purchased anything from them. Do not buy from this site

After making a claim for a defender holster...they wanted to see the whole case...after back and forth sending them pictures...i just ordered one from Amazon

Recieved an email from Otterbox 10/24 saying my case has shipped. Just called them today 10/31 (7 days later!) and am told it had not really shipped. I call that very poor sevice. Customer service rep was friendly and said will do 2-day shipping but may take a couple of days to "process" in the warehouse. Now my wifes new iphone6 is here and she has no case for a $700 phone and we are extremely frustrated. Have always liked their cases but would sugest ordering from Amazon (they take customer service seriously).
