This compay has the worse products for IPhones they don't protect as good as when Lifeproof was here the change to Otto box has made the product very $#*!ty
The product is cheap and not worth 50 dollars at all. I went to Walmart and got a case 19 dollars that covers the class and the entire phone.
Broke my case and requested a warranty replacement. Replaced the plastic shell for free! Thank you so much OtterBox! Great customer service!
I ordered a replacement case for my Iphone X & gladly pay for the shipping costs. Receive the case promptly by mail. Open the box and realize it's the wrong size of case for the iphone X. I have the larger screen size Xr. I call the customer service center and report the issue. No problem, CSR rep gives me a Case Number: ******* and the item would be shipped asap. I ask how do i return the case box i had in my possession and CSR rep tells me there is no need to return it. She suggested i pass it along. I thought that was a great idea. So i ask around my family members and no one had an Iphone X. My neighbor had a relative from Toronto that i recently met and guess what he had the Iphone X. Without hesitation i get into my story & i offer him the case. He was ecstatic. I told him the whole story and he found the company to be very forward thinking. Wouldn't you know, his case was also an Otter case & needed to be replaced. Best candidate for the case. He was so happy and so was i. Until this morning, i call the Otter box company to follow up on my replacement case and the story now takes a turn. After waiting 33 minutes on the line to speak to a CSR agent, i get all kinds of surprises. Now they want a picture of the box they sent and a picture of my broken otter box case.?. I ordered a new case because the old was broken. I threw out the broken case because it caused more damage by keeping it on the phone. I would have gladly sent the photos requested when i requested a replacement. But after the whole experience and fustation, i think they will simply lose me as a loyal 12 year customer. I will replace all future casings with a different company. Anyone have any suggestions for a good brand replacement?
I havent had my case for even a year and uhm. Its really messed up and I rarely ever droo my phoen so it shouldn't be that broken
I bought two extremely premiumly priced ($65) otterboxes for new phones. Their site promised delivery by Wednesday. Two days after ordering, I got a "your package has shipped!" with a deliverate date of Friday (which, if my math is correct, is two days later than Wednesday). The phones I will use the boxes with came in (in two days!) and I'm pretty much freaking out about dropping my phone. Then my wife dropped hers on the tile floor. No damage, but this was the reason I wanted the otterboxes. Anyway, Friday comes with no package, and they estimate delivery on Saturday. But the tracking still shows the package in another state. Saturday, no package, but "Delivery by Sunday". Sunday, the package gets to my local post office (otterbox uses a very inept UPS to USPS shipping method, thereby ensuring that the worst of both faces the customer). So now its Monday, and the package is still shown as being at the PO "Awaiting acceptance". So its going to be Tuesday or Wednesday before delivery. And I will be on the business trip that was a main reason I got an otterbox.
I am going to go to the post office to see if they can give me the package. If not, I'll buy something else at the local verizon store and will return the package to otterbox.
I will never trust otterbox again. What really galls me is that some arrogant VP got a bonus for saving a few pennies using the UPS/USPS conflagration, when that VP should be fired for alienating customers.
Suggest that you look to other vendors for your phone protectinon needs.
PS I had to go to the post office. They told me that there was no way to get the package except to wait for delivery. So I had to go to verizon and buy the otterbox (in black, which I didn't want). So the phone is protected, but I have an extra otterbox for $68. Very dissapointed in Otterboxes.
This case gives NO protection to the corners. And Otterbox will not take any responsibility for their poor design! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON IT!
I bought two OtterBox Defenders for our two new Samusung Galaxy S23 Ultras. Love them.
I also bought 2 Alpha Flex screen protectors for our pair of new phones.
The screen protectors were horrible. First, the screen protector was too short!?! How could they sell a product that didn't even fit the length of the screen it was to protect?
Second, it would not adhere properly.
Although we have experience installing screen protectors and a significant level of skill at such procedures, we could not get them to adhere properly to either of our phones.
Both have a lot of bubbles. No matter how much we used the included squeegees we couldn't get the film to lay down satisfactorily. It was clear that the product wasn't designed to fit the slightly curved edge of the 23 Ultra, because that is where most of the bubbles persist. Also, it never has adhered properly near the front facing camera cut out.
But that isn't the worst part. I called for a return/refund they said they would send me a mailing label within 24 hours. I was told they would waive the fee. Three days later it hadn't arrived.
I called back, was put on hold, then cut off.
I called back, asked to speak to a supervisor or some one who would stay on the line until I could confirm that I had received the email with the shipping label.
I was connected to a person who was unsympathetic, hostile and intransigent. Hardly a good fit for customer service supervision.
All I wanted was someone to make sure the email came through, but he refused. Also, he told me that the mailing label was not prepaid so I would have to pay to mail the product back even though I was told the fee would be waived.
So then, I thought, why am I doing on the hoop-jumping when it was their product that failed. It was they who promised a cost-free return label. It was they who insisted that I return the soon to be shredded screen protector before they refund the exorbitant price I paid.
Needless to say, the call devolved from there.
I will NEVER buy anything from OtterBox again. I urge anyone who reads this to do the same. The phone case market is highly competitive and OtterBox was once a leader in quality. No more...
THERE WAS NO CUSTOMER SUPPORT. When I received reimbursement finally, it was only partial. Still waiting
