This place by far is one of the worst online sites...
I ordered a pair of sunglasses they took forever to ship and when I received them the lenses were damaged... The customer service is nonexistent. They were so ignorant. This place is a real scam... I explained that I loved the frames but they were flawed... First I was offered a discount (which I refused)Then I was told once my glasses were received I would be contacted. I was also told they would exchange them. My glasses were received on back to them on July 5... Never received a phone call never received new sunglasses. I received a refund minus 37 dollars? I tried to call and once again got some ignorant women and I just hung up and contacted my credit card company and filed a charge dispute. I wish I would have read the reviews before dealing with these scammers... SAVE YOURSELF THE HASSLE DONT BUY FROM THIS SITE ALSO KNOWN AS GLASSES DEPOT

I purchased a pair of RayBan sunglasses from this company who seems to be just a middle man and does not have a well vetted supply chain or is an authorized seller (or re-seller for that part). The sunglasses showed up with a chip in the left lens and so I contacted them by phone, sent a photograph of the issue. After doing exactly what was asked, I got the following response: "Weird? I can discount". That was it! I replied back and no response! I called again only to be told that I could return them but would have to pay for the shipping and a 20% re-stocking fee! I shared with them the glasses looked worn and not in "NEW" condition and then was told they were most likely "FLOOR Models" and that is why there may have been some wear. Completely beside myself! I paid full price for "USE / WORN" glasses that arrive damaged and could not return without eating $50+ to return them. They then offered $25 which I completely rejected and then a final offer of $33 (which was supposed to be their profit). Again rejected! This place deals in used / worn goods and advertises as "NEW". Pay the extra money and get the customer service and product you order and don't waste your time here. Is it really worth "MAYBE" getting something that your pleased with!

A very big Scam.

VERY BAD. THIS IS NOTHING BUT A SCAM! Sent glasses in for ear tip to be replaced paid
$134.00. When glasses came back it had a totally different ear piece than the other one(not even the same size) and wasn't even on the glasses. Used very cheap ear piece. When I called customer service she told me "of course it's different they are factory made". DO NOT DO BUSSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE!

Didn't send old glasses back. Can't see out of opticsfast glasses, took over a month total time lense don't fit in frame can put a tooth pic through between lense and frame this place

They had my glasses for over 3 months. Then lost them, then sent me the wrong pair. Then a miracle happened. I turned done their offer of keeping the wrong junk glasses. In order to get my glasses back I had to pay the shipping cost to send the junk glasses back. Dino assured I would receive credit, never happened. The positive worst company, scum scam artists.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY! I cannot stress enough what a massive headache they have caused me. After making an inquire as to eyeware repair, they sent me a shipping label that I didn't ask for and then keep sending me rude and harrassing emails asking me to pay for the label that I didn't use or request. And when I have tried to resolve it they - particularly their customer rep, Becky, answered me back with more rude and disgusting emails. She is the most unprofessional customer service rep that I have even encountered. It is insane. This place is a disgrace. If you are smart enough to do your research before contacting this company, DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THEM... Don't even give them any personal information - not even an email!

Unbelievably poor experience with this company. I wish I'd seen the reviews before placing my initial order. Luckily, I saw these issues before I actually sent in my glasses to be repaired and avoided the problems I've seen others had--overcharging and the like. If you do fill out this order however there will be an influx of emails like you have never seen. I received at least four a day along with text messages as well. I tried to politely make it clear that there is no way to cancel the order on the website and I would not be sending them in. I have continued to be bombarded with emails for weeks and have had two very nasty exchanges with their customer service team. They've been rude beyond belief, which is what prompted me to write this review. As one example, one agent asked me why I decided to cease my order. I tried to respond that some of the negative reviews had warned me away from their company. I was quite literally asked "9,000 orders and only 300 bad reviews. Do you know how to do math?" All their emails are threatening and aggressive, with one woman telling me she'd send to collections for the $6 shipping label that apparently they require I pay for though they took no credit card info at the start. I'm appalled that such a place as this still exists at all. Whatever you do, go somewhere else!

They are harassing me on my cell number 5 times a day for me to pay for a shipping label when I sent an email inquiring about fixing a pair of glasses. They automatically generated a shipping label for me to send my glasses and I told them I was not going to use them due to cost and they have harassed me to pay for there label when I never agreed to have them fix my glasses just inquire. Now they text and email me 5 times a day I had to call my cell phone carrier bc you CANT just block their number bc they use a automated SMS 3 digit code and switch up everytime so you would be entering 5 blocks a day never ending now my carrier T mobile has to BLACKLIST my phone from receiving amy texts from anyone but FULL numbers due to these jerks! When I said PLEASE stop by email they said No not until you pay for our shipping label and I said NO I NEVER SAID I WAS SENDING U MY GLASSES

THIS IS HOW THEY STAY IN BUSINESS HARRASSING PEOPLE OUT OF MONEY OR BREAKING THEM TO PIECES WHERE THEY GIVE IN

I contacted this company to get my Versace sunglasses broken hinge repaired. They were prompt in their replies at first and tried to get me to pay over $130 on "extra" recommended repairs. The actual repair I wanted was quoted at $69.99. I paid this and waited. Glasses finally arrived back after 3 weeks and after opening them to inspect I noticed the repair area had simply been glued and immediately it broke again just from opening the glasses. I had also sent the case that these came in when I shipped them for repair and my case was never returned. Emails went unanswered, phone calls were ignored. I called again today leaving a message about how upset I was that the so called repair was so poorly done. I also emailed the same. I received a completely rude and unprofessional reply from Becky S. Basically saying that I had broken the glasses again myself and that why didn't I just replace them to begin with? I replied saying how I trusted their company to do a good repair job and was upset with the results. She replies saying she doesn't care that I'm upset and isn't there to be my psychologist... WTF? I have never before been treated so rudely by any company ever in person or online. This is obviously a scam like so many others have stated. I have filed a complaint with the FTC and hope they will shut down this BS company that is stealing hard working people's money. Beware! Do not do business with these guys.

We ALL know better but YET we try to use companies WITHOUT vetting them 1st! The lesson is WE need to stop being lazy! DO NOT GIVE THIS COMPANY YOUR CELL# I gave optic fast my cell... they NOW text me every single morning at 6AM DEMANDING I pay 4 shipping label (THAT I did not ask 4)because I chose to fix else where. According to verizon IT is IMPOSSIBLE to block texts as they use system which is UNTRACEABLE! THREADING to take me to collections 4 unwanted & unrequited shipping label!

I went online to find a pair of glasses, put them in my cart and proceeded to compare prices on other sites. I get an email from opticsfast saying "we noticed you placed an item in your cart but did not buy them." "Why not?" "We can price match." So, I tell them I saw them on another site for less money. Then Becky (who says she's the owner) proceeds to tell me "You can do that with amazon. No need for me to price match and go through all that." I asked what about price matching. Her response simple "nope!" If that's how they run their business, I will pay double before I ever do business with them.

Fortunately by grace of luck I had my glasses done locally & escaped this scam company. Had I been thinking like you & read the reviews I would never had even given this company my information. Also read their privacy rules. "We may share your personal and demographic information with third-party partners based on your account settings within your communications tab."

I only asked them for a quote & they sent some prepaid mailing label that I am supposed to pay for even though I did not use them. Now they threaten to go to collections for the $4 label. Actually the label is probably free to them because it was never used.

Believe all of us here, run away as soon as possible. Don't let them catch you. This company belongs to Neslé isn't that enough?

I sent in a pair of useable glasses from my original astigmatism prescription before contact lens to fix a broken arm. I wish that I had looked for reviews. I guess I was so excited to actually find someone that would repair broken glasses. Well they fixed the glasses. First I was quoted $40.00 but then got a bill for $137.00. I really wanted them. Well I got the frames fixed but they removed my special lenses and replaced them with clear plastic. And they Becky and Dino totally deny that they lenses were changed. The plastic is clear and brand new. Why would I want them replaced because now I won't have any eyewear if I have to go back to glasses. Don't know if anyone knows but when u wear hard lenses the cornea changes shape and it takes sometimes a month or more to return to normal. I believe that it was a plan to sell me prescription lenses because I was sent a 50% off coupon. I received them with nothing in the box and loosely wrap in a thin piece of plastic. Don't make my mistake. I reported them to the Attorney General of NY and BBB.

Do you not work with this company ever. They don't follow what they commit to on their website. If they make a mistake they will charge you for the shipping to fix it. They also repack your glasses so poorly that it shows they just don't care about your business. After they make the second mistake, they respond with an email only saying "OK" and do nothing else about it. I wasted hundreds of dollars and now have unusable glasses. They actually bent my frames as well. This was a mistake working with them and their follow up is horrible.

Don't deal with this company!--I wrote them to ask a question about getting a part of my pair of glasses repaired, and they didn't answer questions--Asked me if I got my label--which I hadn't at that time--I decided not to use them after a message asking me to be a salesperson--Ever since I have gotten DAILY texts and emails from Becky in Customer Service demanding that I pay $5.49 for a label I didn't want--She just told me she won't stop until I give her my Pay Pal or Credit Card#--They must think a sucker is born every minute! I just filled out the forms reporting them to Better Business Bureau of New York City!

I tried contacting her via phone and email and was met by an aggressive person who did not solve anything. I post this review of OPTICS FAST eyewear repair service in the hopes that someone will read it and avoid my mistake. I wish I had taken the time to read the on-line reviews of OPTICS FAST before sending them my vintage theo frames. That's on me... Had I done so, they would not currently have my frames, have sent them to a wrong address, and refused to refund the price of those theo frames (quite expensive for those who are unaware of the brand).

I fear that my frames are lost forever, due to either total incompetence or something more sinister/criminal. Let me explain. Some six months ago, I sent them my vintage frames which needed some paint touch up as well as nose guards. I was quoted a turn-around time of 1-2 weeks, when I inquired three weeks later, Becky S indicated they were almost ready and would be mailed soon. Two weeks later, after several emails I might add, she indicated that they were sent to the wrong address and the customer was being difficult and suggested I contact him directly. Can you believe it? She provided me with another client's home address and phone number (I won't do the same, though)!

I responded that this was not my job but the company's and requested a refund of fees and cost of frame. I got the following response:

You got the wrong item.
The other customer got the wrong item.
He is shipping it back and so are you.
That is how this issue is being resolved.

Again repeated emails until finally I learned why the customer who apparently has my frames was being so difficult. They have his sunglasses and have failed to produce them, so he's using my frames for what little leverage he can get. The email thread is below:

I don't want the glasses I have no use for them but I am not going to send anything back until I get what I paid for so please do not send me any more emails until I bet a shipping confirmation we have nothing to talk about good day.

Please read the on-line reviews. OPTICS FAST has been called rude, incompetent, disingenuous, surly, a complete fraud, sarcastic, intentionally ripping people off, inept, awful, wretched, nasty, a SCAM, ridiculous, a headache, classic bait and switch, crooked, despicable, sketchy... I could fill the page with their "accolades." Apparently, they even offer payment for positive reviews. Go figure?!

You should avoid this vendor at all costs! I wish I had. Six months have now passed since I sent them the frames they promised would take only 1-2 weeks to be returned, repaired. Had I listened, at least, I'd have my unrepaired frames; that's more than I can show now after having spent $200 for my theo frames and entrusted them to OPTICS FAST. I have phoned, emailed, tried anything to get some action on their part; they now block my calls and refuse to answer my emails.

I have taken my issue to the NY Attorney General, Better Business Bureau and on-line review posting boards. Please do yourself a favor, or... YOU TOO WILL BE CHEATED!

These are scam artists. I have never had such a horrible experience with a company. Run do not walk away from them. Once you send in an item for repair, they start hounding you via email and text to pay the invoice. The customer service agent "Becky S." is rude and downright disrespectful as is the sales person "Dino." They say ground shipping is free yet they charge a 12.00 shipping fee, plus sales tax (no matter where you live) plus and item processing fee. 15.00 to ship a four ounce item.

Additionally, the prices that they quote, once they get your item, are double what they lured you in with. Once they started continuously texting me to pay up and doing so in a threatening manner, I realized I was dealing with a scam site.

I asked for my glasses back and paid for shipping but who knows if I will actually get them back. Do NOT do business with these people.
