Treachery
December 21, 2016

Hands down the worst place I have ever attempted business with. It is a complete mystery how these people remain in business if you go online and read the reviews of experiences people have had here.

Everything is imaginary. Becky, Alex, and Dino do not exist. This is a middle man for ebay and they will tell you that they order directly from the wholesaler.

Once they get your card information they will threaten you with access to your IP address and they went as far as to threaten me with access to the brief of my home and the fact they know where I live.

These are peasants that more likely than not are not from the states and were never educated, which actually helps in their fraud scheme because they are able to plead ignorance once they attempt robbery.

The entire site is imaginary and they do not even have access to stock levels, they simply appear to have a wide selection so that when you place an order your funds begin to process but it is more likely than not that the glasses you order do not even exist.

Once they order is placed, Eyeglasses depot/opticsfast will surf the internet (usually ebay 'Alex the invisible CEO' told me once he had no choice) to find the glasses you ordered. If they are there great, they found them for 50-200$ less than what you are paying for them.

However, If they cannot find them than their other domain OPTICS FAST will email you within 24 hours informing you that there was only 1 pair left of imaginary pair of glasses you ordered and "there was a defect in the frame so they cannot send them".

At this point the funds you sent are still being "processed" and a refund is entirely out of the question, they are not able to provide refunds because all the funds they have are fraudulent. Therefore you are required to pick a new pair. If it is a less expensive pair than you will overpay, as they cannot send money back. If it is a more expensive pair than get ready to be solicited for more money.

In just just one order, I witnessed false advertising, soliciting, harassment, fraudulent purchasing, property theft, identity theft, and phishing.

There customer service does not care about your business. They simply focus on single transactions and the "capturing" of your funds.

It is apparent that this place is an organized retail crime site and I promise you NOTHING can be trusted from eyeglasses depot/optics fast.

They pay customers to write positive reviews to offset all the bad ones they get.

If you do happen to mistakenly place an order here set aside 48 hours to stay on top of each and every move they make and organize your documents for any legal matters.

I have read multiple reviews of people being harassed for multiple days after the transaction. I actually stayed relentlessly on eyeglasses depot/optics fast the whole time they tried to get me to give up and they became so frustrated with me catching on to the scam that they blocked me on email and won't accept my calls.

Nothing makes me more motivated than a free loader so when I caught on after the first email they sent me I decided I would make it my mission to disrupt any and all future fraud they attempt.

It is my wish for all of you to become educated from this and save your time here. I mean I spent a full 2 days on this matter, and in the end it was worth it because nobody in this world deserves a free ride.

As always from the hard working blue collar class of America I would like to sign this document as I signed all of my emails to you - eyeglasses depot/optics fast,

Your most informed customer

Looking for a particular set of frames for a discontinued item. OpticsFast web site showed several. Thought I would call customer service just to make sure. Very rude male answered the phone saying, if it's on our web site then we have it. Hang up and order off the web. Should have known better, but maybe he was having a bad day. Placed the order. Next day get a text, problem with your order. Phoned again. This time a rude Jersey accented female customer service rep tells me frames discontinued from manufacturer. If you would check your email you would know why. I Never got any email. Oh your from Alabama I see by the order, this is just great Howdy Howdy. Your order was cancelled.
I just told her, sorry I even bothered.

I have just experienced what so many others have gone through with this fraudulent company, OpticsFast. I had the misfortune of dealing with the infamous Becky S in the so-called customer service department through some interesting email correspondence where she made several off the wall unprofessional comments. She is the only one who answers emails. There are no supervisors. This is NOT a real company by any means.

Do NOT fall for believing that OpticsFast actually has the eyeglasses that you want in stock. Becky S gave me the EXACT same run around that she has given many others. Another reviewer on Trust Pilot by the name of Berniece Crawford went through the EXACT same ordeal that I did. She posted on October 27th, 2016:

FROM BERNIECE CRAWFORD: "Regarding my first order online, it has been and continues to be a nightmare. I was told via telephone that my frames where definitely available. Within a day i received this e-mail from Becky S at OpticsFast."

FROM BECKY S TO BERNIECE CRAWFORD: "Dear Berniece Crawford, I am very very sorry for the delay in your order. Let me explain what happened. The item was in stock with a Store Quantity of 1. Prior to each shipment my team checks each frame to make sure they 100 percent perfect with no issues or problems. The item you purchased had contained a small crack on the left temple of the frame and I was not comfortable in sending you this item as it was. What I did was send the item back to the company for a replacement. I got a phone call today from the company to inform us that this particular item is on Backorder for 2 weeks. What do you want us to do? Maybe you want to select another color? Maybe you want to select an entirely different frame? I have noted your account and have issued you a 15 percent OFF your next order for this problem."

MRS. CRAWFORD CONTINUES: "I then received another email telling me they would be happy to substitute frames. I replied no that the reason i was going to order from them was because they told me they had what i wanted. The one difference in my story is they told me my frames were on back order. This Unprofessional person "Becky" was always the one sending me the e mails which to date I have 8. Each getting progressively nastier. There had been money taken from my account knowing that I did not wish to purchase anything but the original. Unfortunately I needed my glasses so i bought through another company. At this point the original amount was reversed in my bank only to find today that i have again been charged for glasses I have heard nothing about. The way she ended her last e mail was what really left me knowing that this company cannot be real. "Whats the problem here sweetcakes?" Becky S. Customer Service. I am beside myself and am calling my bank in the morning as I did not authorize this deduction and am going to take legal action if at all possible."

Now, let's review what Becky S from OpticsFast emailed to me on Nov 30,2016.

FROM BECKY S TO ME: "Dear JL, I am very very sorry for the delay in your order. Let me explain what happened. The item was in stock with a Store Quantity of 1. Prior to each shipment my team. We check each and every frame to make sure they 100 percent perfect with no issues or problems. The item you purchased had contained a small crack on the frame and I was not comfortable in sending the defective item. The item was sent back to manufacturer and reordered another pair. I got a phone call later in the day to inform us that this item is DISCONTINUED and can NO longer be obtained. Maybe you want to select an entirely different frame? I have noted your account and have issued you a 15 percent OFF your next order for this problem."

SOUNDS FAMILIAR DOESN'T IT? They treated us both in the exact same manner. A REFUND should have been offered in both cases but it was not. I was also in the same position as Mrs. Crawford because I had to contact my bank about this fraudulent charge to dispute it.

OpticsFast gives everyone the same story when they can't obtain the glasses shown on their website. They tell LIES! They also do NOT offer refunds at all. Instead, they try to sell you frames that they actually carry.

I REPEAT! DO NOT GIVE THIS COMPANY YOUR CREDIT CARD INFORMATION! YOU WILL REGRET IT!

SCAM. FRAUD.
November 28, 2016

I sent my glasses for a bridge repair late Oct. And paid for the repair November 1 and was told it would take two weeks. When I called repeatedly until the end of November I was told to call back and/or it would be another week. Then I called Monday, 11/28 and was told the lenses needed "replacement" and the "new frame" needed repair "again." They were "sent back on 11/17" w/out telling me WHERE. Further, the details of what was described were NOT what needed to be done. Then, she hung up on me - repeatedly. I am calling Eric Schneidernan's office to file a COMPLAINT and I suggest everyone do this. http://ag.ny.gov/complaint-forms

I so wish I had searched for all of your posts about this organization as they cheated me out of $70 and gave me nothing but the run around like they were seven year-olds who could not figure out that two was greater than one. I can't believe such a business model can be successful, I read more than twenty posts where they were duped into getting junk rather than the glasses or services they expected. For $70 buck for a repair they did not perform, I am powerless to any recourse. I was mad then felt like a victim. I sent in the glasses and they were returned exactly like I sent them (broken) only their packaging was quite insufficient for sending glasses. PLEASE BE ADVISED TO STAY CLEAR OF THIS SITE!

I sent in my eyeglasses and paid 85 dollars for new hinges. They sent me back a pair of scratched up sun glasses. At first when I contacted them, they didn't even believe I sent in a pair of eyeglasses. One of the responses I got back said they didn't even work on glass glasses. My estimate was for my glass glasses. My first phone contact with them started with me getting chewed out for not sending back the scratched up sunglasses. No apologies for losing my glasses, or even acknowledging they ever saw them.
The bottom line as it stands right now is I have paid them 85 bucks to lose my glasses, and take verbal abuse over the phone. I cannot believe these people are allowed to conduct business. Everyone makes mistakes. But these people do absolutely nothing to right their wrongs!

Yuk. FastOptics is the absolute WORST online company I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. No. Wait! They are simply the worst company I have ever dealt with. They make Comcast and ATT seem like model customer support organizations. Thank goodness I never sent them my glasses for repair (thank you to The Frame Mender for the 1 week turnaround and excellent quality repair).

My entire lousy experience with FastOptics has been limited to their constant badgering messages to send in my glasses. It doesn't matter that I patiently informed them I won't be sending them my glasses. "Why not" was their response. Because, I replied, online reviews for FastOptics on Yelp and the BBB are dismal (plus they don't quote repairs until they've received the glasses unlike, say, The Frame Mender. With bad reviews and a pig-in-a-poke approach to the quote process, there was no way I was sending them my glasses to hold hostage). "Becky" replied that I was making a huuugh mistake, that they have great reviews with only a few hundred negative reviews because of some overly sensitive customers who complain at the littlest provocation. Not a good sign, I thought. Now, 2 weeks on, I get 1 or 2 daily messages to send in my already-repaired-by-someone-else glasses. Numerous requests to stop sending those messages have gone ignored.

I gave them 1 warning: if they sent me another message, I'd share my miserable experience on every social website I could find. In less than an hour, they replied that they'd already prepaid postage for my glasses and, therefore, I "must pay" them $5.49 to not send them in. I guess they figure their customers don't know or can't find out that Click-n-Ship postage is fully refundable within 30 days of purchase. These guys apparently know and will try every trick in the book to squeeze a few dollars from their customers. I shudder to think what tricks they would have tried if they'd gotten their mitts on my glasses. Si here I am posting my experience everywhere I can find.

FWIW, in response to my warning of posting this review, their response was "the more [bad reviews] the merrier".

Dont Buy SCAM!
October 10, 2016

Can I give no stars?

Horrible customer service! Sold me fake designer glasses.
False advertising as well. Promised me "100% brand new and Authentic and come to us direct from the manufacturer. Each item is packaged with a certificate of authenticity, protective case and dust cloth". All i got was the frames, and a generic case. Spoke with customer service and they said "There is no such thing as certificate of authenticity or dust cloths for Burberry glasses." Wow really? They have no professionalism when speaking with you. Ghetto store, don't use them. I am in the process of reporting them to the FBI for selling fake designer products.

Total scam
September 17, 2016

I purchased glasses. Received them quickly so that's good. After inplaced the order in received an email saying my credit card was declined. I checked and I had already been charged. Scam #1. I emailed them about it and never received a response. They conveniently placed another glasses order in my shopping cart but I was smart enough not to use place a 2nd order. The glasses were uncomfortable. I asked for an RMA number and was told there was a 20% restocking fee. SUPER SCAM! DO NOT use this company!

This company is a total scam. Becky in customer service is Extremely rude.
I purchased a brand new pair of Ray-Ban eyeglass frames from there website. I had a very bad experience. It took almost 30 days to receive them. When I received them, they were damaged in multiple spots, deep dents, dings and scratches and missing nose pieces. They shipped my package in a ziplock bag in a box. Shipping did not cause this. I called customer service to complain and get a refund. They were extremely rude. They told me I ordered a display model and when I said I would of never ordered a display model and I wouldn't pay full price for a frame in this condition and I couldn't believe they mailed them in this condition. They said to take pictures and send them to the company via email. I did. They told me where to mail the frames back too and I did. Then they said I mailed them to wrong addres but there Cust service told me mailing address. Then they said they didn't receive them and we had tracking and they were hand delivered to a person at address they told me to mail them too. After going back and forth with Becky and Maria via phone calls and emails, I told them I don't feel I should have to pay there restocking fee of 20% when they sent a damaged frame. Then I find out it's the only frame they had of the type I ordered. They were unwilling to waive restocking fee when it was there fault. When Becky opened box to look at damaged frame she had the nerve to say there not damaged. There extremely unprofessional and will advice everybody I know never to use this company. I had to threaten to do a chargeback through my bank because they were saying they weren't going to give me the refund. I ended up getting the refund minus the 26 dollar restocking fee. Then they text me on a Sunday saying that they only hire the best salespeople and that Becky is requesting a gratuity tip for helping me. My tip to her is the 20% restocking fee that i shouldn't have to pay. I can't say enough negative things about Becky, Maria and the opticsfast.com people.

OpticsFast eager to take your money, but not so eager to deal with complaints. Ordered a pair of Ray Ban sunglasses from them, after multiple e-mails where they tried to send me their clearance product that I didn't order, they ignored my request for a refund and send me the incorrect clearance item anyway. When I phone they started screaming at me over the phone and said that I could me glad that I got something instead of nothing for the $150.00 I paid. After more e-mails the said that I must return the product and that I will lose the $20.00 express delivery that I paid for and be charged a 20% restocking fee. I think they are only in it for the money and not the service and are trying to scam anyone and everyone. Worst experience ever!

Rip off artists
August 6, 2016

I think this is a bunch of overseas scam artists. They have several phone numbers such as customer service, billing ect that never answer. I tried sales (thinking of course they would answer) and they did so I ask for the manager. She came on and hung up on me in less than one minute.
My issue is that they sent me a mailing label that I did not request because my eye doctor knew about them and warned me not to get involved. End of story... right. No... They want to be paid $5.49 for this non requested mailing label. And if I don't pay they will report me to all three credit agencies. I have received over 100 text and email messages (some as late at 1130 pm) telling me to pay up or get reported. This is not only extortion but it is also fraud. Don't believe any of the good reviews as they are probably SHILLS.

FRAUDS!
July 6, 2016

Do not do business with this company. I made the mistake of entering my name and contact information, hoping to get an estimate of repairs. I never got the estimate, but when I told them I wouldn't be doing business with them, they had the nerve to charge me $5.49 for a shipping label they created for me to send in my glasses. I never shipped anything to them, ever.
They then threatened to report me to the credit bureaus for non-payment. I have since filed a complaint with my attorney general.
These people are thieves and frauds.

BEWARE****
July 1, 2016

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER*** this place and the people that run it are absolutely awful. TOTAL SCAM! I sent in a pair of glasses that were broken with the one arm falling off. These were prescription glasses and contacted optics fast after finding them online. I WISH I had read reviews first. From the moment I contacted them the experience was hell. They are rude and ignorant people that make a living off scamming hardworking people. After spending 180 dollars WITH a bullS*** warranty I purchased I received the glasses back still completely broken. They were thrown in a box three times their size with no wrapping what so ever. When I contacted the owner asking if they would send me another label to ship them back she told me it was my responsibility to pay to send them back and "it's like 3 dollars". Why would I pay any additional money for their mistake! Here is a little example of an email she responded to me which shows how absolutely ridiculous these people are. I asked if there was anyone else I can contact about my problem being that I spent 180 dollars already.

We are the owners... Husband and Wife.
Who will you contact? You need to send it back I cant make it magically fix itself.

What kind of professional email is that!? Save yourself the trouble and keep looking for another place! No amount of money or glasses in the world is worth dealing with these people.

HORRIBLE
June 20, 2016

Absolutely HORRIBLE. The glasses are great but where do I begin with the customer service!

First the product was supposed to ship within 48 hours, that didnt happen. Got it weeks later.

Then without calling or emailing me they mailed my sunglasses to my billing address not my shipping address, then when I call they said yes we did hat on purpose since we thought it was fraud... WHAT! How about call me and verify, do something instead of what you FEEL is right. Therefore I had to drive to another county to go intercept it at the post office. Ridiculous to say the least. I own online retail companies and I would NEVER put my customers through anything like this then send another email a month later saying OH HEY we are going to charge you more since, now for the third time, we messed up and didnt charge you shipping. To what, the address that was the billing address that I drove 30 minutes to pick up, seriously.

This company is a rip off, disrespectful and total crap! They have 148 complaints with BBB. They took 2 months to get my glasses done and to me and put the wrong Rx in the lens plus they were supposed to be transitions and they're not. When I called them they hung up on me twice. I sent them emails and they tried to put all the blame on me wanting me to prove I sent the prescription and I know I did. They will not refund anything and after weeks of emails and my banks pressure they told me to send glasses back and they will redo them. So Ok I asked them for the prepaid shipping label they gave me first time and they said they didn't have labels to send UPS. So what's the address I asked and they have blocked my emails now. Unbelievable!
