The overall reputation of the company is marred by significant customer dissatisfaction, primarily due to issues with ticket delivery, refund policies, and customer service responsiveness. Many customers report being charged exorbitant fees, receiving invalid tickets, and facing unresponsive support channels, leading to frustrations and claims of being scammed. While some customers appreciate the variety of events offered, the overwhelming sentiment reflects a lack of trust and reliability. The company's rigid policies regarding refunds, particularly for postponed events, further exacerbate negative perceptions, suggesting a need for improved customer service and clearer communication.

This site makes ordering easy and convenient! This is the second time I have used this site and I know I will use it again! I highly recommend it to anyone!
I purchased tickets on 10/16/17 to a concert through OnlineCityTickets, and it says money has been taken from my account but it has a completely random name on it. I don't know anyone by this name and am concerned that the ticket does not say my name on it because I am worried that it is a template of some sort. My concert is at the Bomb Factory in Dallas on 10/18 so I need confirmation
I thought it was an okay exeperince nothing that stands out. Was easy to use. Thought the fees on the end where a little high
Tickets were purchased 10/10/17. I have sent two emails asking for a confirmation of when I would receive the tickets. I have received no response. If you call the Customer Support #*******196 between 8a-8p CST, you are not able to speak to a live person. Onlinecitytickets took the money off my credit card within 24 hours of purchase. I do not know if it is a scam. I cannot get the company to provide me an answer. Nothing but a FRUSTRATING experience so far. -Mary K.
It was Fast checkout and highly recommend if your looking to buy tickets to an event near you. A+. Its the way to go.
This was a great way to get tickets to a sold out concert. I actually paid less than the face value of the ticket. Awesome!
All good for me! After purchasing my tickets, I went to another site and their price was double! Also like having access to seating chart when purchasing.
I bought 3 tickets in section 41. My tickets were emailed to me within an hour. The ease of purchase encouraged my desire to spontaneously get tickets to this event.
It would have been nice to pick our seats exactly where we wanted to sit, like we want to sit on the end of the row but I could not pick that for us.
Thanks for being such an easy order to place now if it would just be as easy to receive the tickets as it is to file all this words of thanks
I didn't realize I was buying an already purchased ticket when I could have gotten the same ticket for the much less! Its my fault and I should have read better. Now Im nervous these won't work and we wont be able to attend and my daughter was so looking forward to this. Just praying they work. Ill be out money and won't be able to see the show.
Ticket price and charged price per receipt were not the same. I ordered tickets that were $75 each. The receipt I received was for $202, charged to my credit card. The downloaded tickets indicated each ticket was $45 plus $6.32 in fees, total per ticket $51.32. A difference of $100. Tried to Chat, but wait time was too long. I will try again, but it is a real hassle. This review MUST be 100 characters.
I have been trying to get a hold of them for 9 days now. They sent an email saying another email was sent by Ticketmaster, seller or venue... I have not received any email and no one EVER answers my emails or the phone. I have looked in all of the spam and junk email as well. Nothing. I fell like they STOLE my money. Why will no one respond back or help me? This was a birthday present to my husband and I spent a good amount of money on it. I will be happy to change my review if someone will help or respond to me.
I had a good experience ordering tickets through you guys. I would definitely recommend you to other people
I would definitely use onlinecitytickets.com again if I couldn't find tickets elsewhere. I got my tickets quickly. The only sad part is that the service fee is ASTRONOMICAL.
Fast easy and makes planning easy to do and allowsnu to get exactly what u are looking for and very helpful
Website easy to use service fee 98 dollars for two tickets is absolutely crazy, I would not have bought them but I can't cancel my order
Charging 60$ for a service fee with no OTHER options to get your tickets is not justified.
If you have no options offered, well you figure it out or give it for free
Answer: In my case, they sent e-mail that the tickets would be forthcoming. When I failed to receive them the week before the concert, per e-mail download as promised, I called their #, the person on the other end told me that it was will-call at the box-office with the copy of the e-mail I needed to bring. The box office told me that as a 2nd line seller, they did not keep them there. When I called to ask why they did this to me and demanded re-imbursal, they sent the tickets per e-mail download THE DAY AFTER THE CONCERT. They tried to cover their tracks with the credit card company, the problem for them was that the time stamp of their sending the tickets reflected the day after the concert. So essentially, they are not even competent as rip-off artists.
Answer: So sorry to hear you have been conned by this outfit. Apparently sometimes they DO send valid tickets, so I hope you are one of the lucky ones. I suggest you tell your credit card company (by phone and IN WRITING) that you are disputing this charge. Also tell everyone you know to avoid this rip-off company. I know this doesnt help you now, but in the future buy tickets only from Ticketmaster (I've never had a problem with them). Good luck.
Answer: I couldn't even open the download so I called the number and all I got was an answering system to send email and I did but no reply from them so the next day a call about 50 times until I got someone. After getting transferred to 3 different people and waiting about an hour for the supervisor the guy told me no refunds are allowed but money is 100% guarantee if it doesn't work at the time of the event. So I'm praying to God they are good the event isn't until the end of November
Answer: They are scoundrels. I know where their office is and went by there recently. I am laying out a plan.
Answer: If you have already purchased your tickets from this outfit, good luck. They sent me tickets for a concert in Tennessee and I asked for and live in Florida. They said it was MY mistake and that I asked for TN. They supposedly tried to resell the tickets and couldn't so I was out $300.00 for two tickets. They have something like 130 complaints and are a scam outfit. Next time order elsewhere and good luck with these tickets.
Answer: I just cancelled my order because they never sent the tickets. At least you got yours so maybe they will be okay. I would call the arena where the event will be and ask them how many issues they have had with this company. I emailed five times and they always sent an automated response back. Then, when I was in a meeting at work they finally called and the number just read, "33333" when they called me. No return phone number... very strange. They left a message to call them so I did immediately after my meeting (15 minutes)... the automated system was up and did not allow me to speak with a person. Thus far, I have never spoken to a real person when I call their number. I disputed the purchase, got my money back and bought tickets for much less at StubHub. I was surprised because my last tickets at Stubhub were kind of expensive... but these tickets (McCartney) were not too crazy expensive. Anyway, best of luck, and I would make a back up plan.
Answer: You will get your tickets, but they will likely have someone else's name printed on them. Worst of all, they will most likely not be honored at the gate/box office. My advice is to get a refund NOW and buy tickets from a reputable outlet like Ticketmaster. City Online are thieves and scammers. See my review about James Taylor concert in Norfolk, Virginia.
Answer: Contact the venue, give them all the details on the tickets received and verify if U will be able to legitimately use the tickets, considering the issues with this company that are so overwhelming. My experience reviewing all the people who describe their issues with them is that even if the tickets are usable, the overpayment is so excessive that it would have been better dealing with the regular ticket outlet for the venue.
Answer: Yes Ann, you will get your tickets. You just over paid by a HUGE amount... but other then that, the company is legit. They are just robbers the way they do it... thats all. Have a good time and yes, at least now you learned a lesson (like all of us on this site);-)
