The overall reputation of the company is marred by significant customer dissatisfaction, primarily due to issues with ticket delivery, refund policies, and customer service responsiveness. Many customers report being charged exorbitant fees, receiving invalid tickets, and facing unresponsive support channels, leading to frustrations and claims of being scammed. While some customers appreciate the variety of events offered, the overwhelming sentiment reflects a lack of trust and reliability. The company's rigid policies regarding refunds, particularly for postponed events, further exacerbate negative perceptions, suggesting a need for improved customer service and clearer communication.

Easiest website Ive used to purchase concert tickets.no spam or annoying pop ups to deal with either.
Love this site. Easy to use the site. Great seats to choose from. Will continue to use this sight for future events
Tickets were delivered promptly - but 30% service charge is crazy! If I had more time and was buying less tickets (needed 11) I would have looked elsewhere to purchase my tickets.
This site is fast and easy to buy tickets from. Would buy from here again. Nothing hard about this site simple and easy, just select the tickets and buy.
They were selling tickets that weren't out yet, we had no idea that was the case. Presumed this was a reputable site. Now have no idea what sort of tickets we will get. No option to leave a review anywhere besides here, they REFUSE to give any sort of a refund.
WOULD NEVER EVER EVER EVER BUY FROM HERE AGAIN
This was a complete mistake.
OnlineCityTickets charge over $20/ticket for a service fee; and if you want to/have to download the tickets they charge an extra $7.50/ticket! So they are charging me so they dont have to print a ticket? Also, why wouldnt that be included in the service fee they already charged me?
Ridiculous.
The site is super easy to use. Easy to purchase tickets, super fast with the e-mails and downloading the tickets. Only thing i didn't like was that the service fee's are very high per ticket and another fee to download the ticket.
1st time user and frustrated I must complete a survey BEFORE you comfirm my order is placex. Im already anxious, these emails and having to register before processing only adds to it. Why not ask me after the event day?
Site is easy to navigate and I received conformation immediately. Have not yet received the tickets but that is not unusual. I think the fees were a bit high but all ticket sellers charge fees.
Thank you so so much for making my buying experience an awesome experience. I appreciate your company
I received confirmation number within just a few minutes of making the purchase. Thanks for getting order submitted.
First I would like to say that I thought I was thought I was purchasing from HEB CEDAR PARK CENTER website and grew concerned when I was redirected to onlinecitytickets.com. I decided to move forward with the purchase after verifying it was an HTTPS secured site.
Then I had to modify the text field 3 times only to go back to square one entering the same information I entered the first time. I was able to narrow it down to the card number field. Apperently it didn't like the format even though I made sure that I was typing the same card number all three times with no spaces or dashes. Three times was not a charm in this case.
Lastly, growing frustrated I quit out of the site to go place my order on ticketmaster.com but decided to give onlinecitytickets.com another try after receiving an email for a $20 discount if I finished booking the tickets. The first time when I tried to place the order 3 times I was given an amount of $205.31. When I visited the site again after clicking on the link provided in the email the price was still $205.31 after booking. So where is the $20 discount?
I should also mention this is the second survey I fill out, and this one is on a 3rd party site, sitejabber.com. Overall it was a very frustrating experience that took me over an hour to complete. Not to mention the the map listed on the site didn't even break down seating by row. I had to visit seatgeek.com to view exactly where the row I would be seating is situatated in relation the the stage. Why are you charging $23 service fee for the website per purchase when you can even built an interactive map plugin?
I don't expect an apology from anyone but please take this as constructive criticism going forward. Thanks.
Easy to use the site and tickets are already printed, but honestly the fees that are attached are pretty extreme!
Please consider lowing the service charges. That's out right way to much and you don't find out about the fees till you 1 step away from purchase.
Easy layout, no glitches, waiting, or refreshing, fast checkout and delivery. We had all these issues using Ticketmaster, and had cheaper fees.
I havent recieve'd my downladable tickets for main floor. What is the problem? Your fees are outof bounds for this kind of thing to be happening!
I would rather to print out the ticket myself by free instead of shipping to my home by paying more than $30! The ticket price is $35 on the ticket, but charged me $59 per ticket! Not happy with that!
Easy way to pick-up tickets but the service charge and fees make for an over the top pricing! I will try finding a cheaper route for my next purchase.
Easy to use and quick that's the good news. Bad news is you have no choice but to pay outrageous service charges and everything is in US dollars for an event in Canada! Disappointing
Fees are very high! I did not receive tickets by the confirmed time. They said they would be mailed, but I didnt receive them. Just was able to download and print tickets today!
Answer: In my case, they sent e-mail that the tickets would be forthcoming. When I failed to receive them the week before the concert, per e-mail download as promised, I called their #, the person on the other end told me that it was will-call at the box-office with the copy of the e-mail I needed to bring. The box office told me that as a 2nd line seller, they did not keep them there. When I called to ask why they did this to me and demanded re-imbursal, they sent the tickets per e-mail download THE DAY AFTER THE CONCERT. They tried to cover their tracks with the credit card company, the problem for them was that the time stamp of their sending the tickets reflected the day after the concert. So essentially, they are not even competent as rip-off artists.
Answer: So sorry to hear you have been conned by this outfit. Apparently sometimes they DO send valid tickets, so I hope you are one of the lucky ones. I suggest you tell your credit card company (by phone and IN WRITING) that you are disputing this charge. Also tell everyone you know to avoid this rip-off company. I know this doesnt help you now, but in the future buy tickets only from Ticketmaster (I've never had a problem with them). Good luck.
Answer: I couldn't even open the download so I called the number and all I got was an answering system to send email and I did but no reply from them so the next day a call about 50 times until I got someone. After getting transferred to 3 different people and waiting about an hour for the supervisor the guy told me no refunds are allowed but money is 100% guarantee if it doesn't work at the time of the event. So I'm praying to God they are good the event isn't until the end of November
Answer: They are scoundrels. I know where their office is and went by there recently. I am laying out a plan.
Answer: If you have already purchased your tickets from this outfit, good luck. They sent me tickets for a concert in Tennessee and I asked for and live in Florida. They said it was MY mistake and that I asked for TN. They supposedly tried to resell the tickets and couldn't so I was out $300.00 for two tickets. They have something like 130 complaints and are a scam outfit. Next time order elsewhere and good luck with these tickets.
Answer: I just cancelled my order because they never sent the tickets. At least you got yours so maybe they will be okay. I would call the arena where the event will be and ask them how many issues they have had with this company. I emailed five times and they always sent an automated response back. Then, when I was in a meeting at work they finally called and the number just read, "33333" when they called me. No return phone number... very strange. They left a message to call them so I did immediately after my meeting (15 minutes)... the automated system was up and did not allow me to speak with a person. Thus far, I have never spoken to a real person when I call their number. I disputed the purchase, got my money back and bought tickets for much less at StubHub. I was surprised because my last tickets at Stubhub were kind of expensive... but these tickets (McCartney) were not too crazy expensive. Anyway, best of luck, and I would make a back up plan.
Answer: You will get your tickets, but they will likely have someone else's name printed on them. Worst of all, they will most likely not be honored at the gate/box office. My advice is to get a refund NOW and buy tickets from a reputable outlet like Ticketmaster. City Online are thieves and scammers. See my review about James Taylor concert in Norfolk, Virginia.
Answer: Contact the venue, give them all the details on the tickets received and verify if U will be able to legitimately use the tickets, considering the issues with this company that are so overwhelming. My experience reviewing all the people who describe their issues with them is that even if the tickets are usable, the overpayment is so excessive that it would have been better dealing with the regular ticket outlet for the venue.
Answer: Yes Ann, you will get your tickets. You just over paid by a HUGE amount... but other then that, the company is legit. They are just robbers the way they do it... thats all. Have a good time and yes, at least now you learned a lesson (like all of us on this site);-)
