The overall reputation of the company is marred by significant customer dissatisfaction, primarily due to issues with ticket delivery, refund policies, and customer service responsiveness. Many customers report being charged exorbitant fees, receiving invalid tickets, and facing unresponsive support channels, leading to frustrations and claims of being scammed. While some customers appreciate the variety of events offered, the overwhelming sentiment reflects a lack of trust and reliability. The company's rigid policies regarding refunds, particularly for postponed events, further exacerbate negative perceptions, suggesting a need for improved customer service and clearer communication.

A $7.50 down load fee? I dont under stand this it saves them time and money and then they charge the customers to print ticket at home with there ink and paper what a rip off not to mention a $6 plus handeling fee on each ticket just what did the seller handle looks to me the computer did all the work never will I buy here again what ever happened to a face value ticket? I should get a discount for saving them the time and money of sending me an actual ticket.
I WILL NEVER, EVER ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN. I PAID 250.00 FOR 100.00 WORTH OF TICKETS. ALSO HAVE NO IDEA WHERE OUR SEATS ARE.
I was very pleased when I called the number on website for a question about my ticket purchase and the rep Christina politely and graciously offered me a discount for purchasing them over the phone. It was fast and easy and I got a better price than from another website. Thank you!
Great experience! Super easy from start to finish, it took less than ten minutes to select, purchase, receive and print the ticket. Thank you
I will consider using in future.and my opinion as of considering to recommend to friends and family is dwendeling because of all the aftermath. Making me write a paragraph is too much.
Price of tickets are great when bought early but the handling fees per ticket is rediculous especially when it is purchased in the same transaction. Id like to know what the handling fees consist of exactly.
The $7.50 price to download my tickets was a rip off! There wasn't any other option, so I had to pay it.
It was convenient to book, but the service fees were excessive - $144 on tickets that cost $450! I cannot justify using the site again knowing about the fees.
I was disappointed when I was offered $20 off and wasn't able to use it because I had to spend over $200 BEFORE fees. Fees are high as it is and my tickets were $179 before fees and $239 after. Not happy. Will use TicketMaster next time.
I wish i could see the view from our tickets, as well as from other seating options, in case friends want to join us
Very good way to book tickets, also for us that will visit L. A. for holiday.
Too expensive the service charge (50% of the total cost of ticket)
The convenience is thete, however, better to go to the venue, as I did, online said open at 10, place was closed. You don't have to pay ridiculous fees then... will never order this way again! Csr was nice though..
The rep seemed very helpful in selecting my ticket and hope the seat
Works out well for me. Until I actually get the ticket and see where it is,
Then I can give a fuller review.
It was easy to book and the seating choices were clear. However I was surprised at the high service charge. E-Delivery worked well and confirmation was quick.
I'm not the only one that thinks a $24 service charge on each ticket is robbery. Unless I get a very good explanation for why that is necessary, I will do my absolute best to avoid purchasing tickets this way again. Gross!
$40.00 over original cost plus an extra $38. Something service fee plus email fee... that's what happens when you're old and don't know what you're doing... no one to blame but myself
Good fast service, and somewhat confusing to print tickets.
Overall OK! Will use this service again to obtain other tickets for other events!
I rec'd my order delivered to my phone quickly and downloaded to my phone immediately. I look forward to using the tix without having to worry about losing them in advance of the show!
The booking process itself was straightforward, but its not until the end, when youve completed the entire form and payment details that they inform you theres a $20.00 service charge fee per ticket!
Not only is the fee outrageous, but at the very least they should inform you of the fee upfront.
OnlineCityTickets even though tickets were overly priced! Hope I don't have the same experience as the other reviewers are writing about in having difficulty getting our tickets..
Answer: In my case, they sent e-mail that the tickets would be forthcoming. When I failed to receive them the week before the concert, per e-mail download as promised, I called their #, the person on the other end told me that it was will-call at the box-office with the copy of the e-mail I needed to bring. The box office told me that as a 2nd line seller, they did not keep them there. When I called to ask why they did this to me and demanded re-imbursal, they sent the tickets per e-mail download THE DAY AFTER THE CONCERT. They tried to cover their tracks with the credit card company, the problem for them was that the time stamp of their sending the tickets reflected the day after the concert. So essentially, they are not even competent as rip-off artists.
Answer: So sorry to hear you have been conned by this outfit. Apparently sometimes they DO send valid tickets, so I hope you are one of the lucky ones. I suggest you tell your credit card company (by phone and IN WRITING) that you are disputing this charge. Also tell everyone you know to avoid this rip-off company. I know this doesnt help you now, but in the future buy tickets only from Ticketmaster (I've never had a problem with them). Good luck.
Answer: I couldn't even open the download so I called the number and all I got was an answering system to send email and I did but no reply from them so the next day a call about 50 times until I got someone. After getting transferred to 3 different people and waiting about an hour for the supervisor the guy told me no refunds are allowed but money is 100% guarantee if it doesn't work at the time of the event. So I'm praying to God they are good the event isn't until the end of November
Answer: They are scoundrels. I know where their office is and went by there recently. I am laying out a plan.
Answer: If you have already purchased your tickets from this outfit, good luck. They sent me tickets for a concert in Tennessee and I asked for and live in Florida. They said it was MY mistake and that I asked for TN. They supposedly tried to resell the tickets and couldn't so I was out $300.00 for two tickets. They have something like 130 complaints and are a scam outfit. Next time order elsewhere and good luck with these tickets.
Answer: I just cancelled my order because they never sent the tickets. At least you got yours so maybe they will be okay. I would call the arena where the event will be and ask them how many issues they have had with this company. I emailed five times and they always sent an automated response back. Then, when I was in a meeting at work they finally called and the number just read, "33333" when they called me. No return phone number... very strange. They left a message to call them so I did immediately after my meeting (15 minutes)... the automated system was up and did not allow me to speak with a person. Thus far, I have never spoken to a real person when I call their number. I disputed the purchase, got my money back and bought tickets for much less at StubHub. I was surprised because my last tickets at Stubhub were kind of expensive... but these tickets (McCartney) were not too crazy expensive. Anyway, best of luck, and I would make a back up plan.
Answer: You will get your tickets, but they will likely have someone else's name printed on them. Worst of all, they will most likely not be honored at the gate/box office. My advice is to get a refund NOW and buy tickets from a reputable outlet like Ticketmaster. City Online are thieves and scammers. See my review about James Taylor concert in Norfolk, Virginia.
Answer: Contact the venue, give them all the details on the tickets received and verify if U will be able to legitimately use the tickets, considering the issues with this company that are so overwhelming. My experience reviewing all the people who describe their issues with them is that even if the tickets are usable, the overpayment is so excessive that it would have been better dealing with the regular ticket outlet for the venue.
Answer: Yes Ann, you will get your tickets. You just over paid by a HUGE amount... but other then that, the company is legit. They are just robbers the way they do it... thats all. Have a good time and yes, at least now you learned a lesson (like all of us on this site);-)
