The overall reputation of the company is marred by significant customer dissatisfaction, primarily due to issues with ticket delivery, refund policies, and customer service responsiveness. Many customers report being charged exorbitant fees, receiving invalid tickets, and facing unresponsive support channels, leading to frustrations and claims of being scammed. While some customers appreciate the variety of events offered, the overwhelming sentiment reflects a lack of trust and reliability. The company's rigid policies regarding refunds, particularly for postponed events, further exacerbate negative perceptions, suggesting a need for improved customer service and clearer communication.

I am very unhappy with the exce$$ive fee$ charged. I purcha$ed two ticket$. To $ee O'Reilly and Miller at the Tacoma Dome $how. Next March. The ticket$ were priced at about $127.00 each ($254.00). I'm a first time user on this site and will definitely recommend or use again!
I received my e-tickets promptly but was told by the venue box office that they may or may not accept my printed e-tickets at the show. Next time I will get tickets directly from the venue or Ticketmaster as those are the only tickets that are guaranteed.
I never knew I was in Online City Tickets until the credit card was charged. I was in Amalie arena and then when I picked seats and paid the receipt came up with Online Online City Tickets which is a resale ticket outfit. I tried by email and phone to cancel these tickets but they refused. They said I had checked the box giving permission and when I went back in t check they already have the box checked. I don't trust this company and am now stuck with 250.00 worth of concert tickets, to Tim McGraw and Faith Hill. When I called the company they said no refund and to rfesell them. V Yohn
1. It is Hard to figure out where seats are. For example: Front row 16 could be in sub-section A, B, or C. Might be near the center of front; might not be. This is more worriesome on the side sections where you could end up far to the left or right and at a bad angle from the stage. Why can't available seat numbers be revealed prior to having to select a seat? It would also be nice if row numbers showed up when zooming in on a section.
2. It was irritating to pay a fee for electronic delivery in addition to the hefty per ticket charge.
I didn't see anywhere before I checked where it said I would be charged fees over $30 for each ticket. Plus, I didn't get an itemized statement breaking out the charges. I don't like that the ticket has someone else's name on it; is it really official? Also, I was able to pick a row, but not a seat number. Seems shady to me, but it's a birthday present and I need the tickets.
It was a first time doing tickets on the computer. It was easier then I thought. Good experience
Other than the service fees being ridiculously high... the tickets were delivered quickly.
Thanks
After purchasing tickets with onlinecity. I found cheaper tickets & better seats directly with Verizon theatre. I wish onlinecity would match the price for me.
This company is dishonest, deceptive, and unfair. They provide misconceptions about description of what you are receiving. Their prices are outrageous compared to other ticket sale venues. The seat selection you get is terrible. The main part of their seat description is fine print. My husband googled the event my family was going to and this was the first link that popped up. If you are reading this review and trying to decide whether or not to use this company, please choose to NOT use them. Their customer service is generic and not helpful. BUYER BE AWARE!
The process was very simple and easy to use. The response time was wonderful.
Can't cancel my order. Not fair due to my medical problem.
It dealing with consignment brokers just be sure you choose the seats you want and are willing to pay the asking price. Otherwise you'll be disappointed. This transaction went smoothly. Very Pleased.
It was easy enough to find tickets and pay for them quickly and simply
So far so good. Purchase was very easy. Now waiting for tickets. They did allow printing of tickets. Suppose to send original 11 20 2016.
The tickets were $89 each. Two should have cost $178, but the service charges and an email fee (why is there a fee for emailed tickets when it is cheaper for them) brought the total to $238. Misleading.
I purchased tickets that were advertised at $125 a piece, already $37.00 a piece up charge. These tix were a few dollars more than the last row on the main floor so for a few dollars more, I selected these tickets as they were two rows up. When I went to check out, there was a $37.50 per ticket service fee and an additional $6.95 fee to send it to my email address. I was already upset about paying $330.00 not including tax for tickets that would have cost less than $200.00 total. Then, when my email came, they sent me the tickets for the last row rather than the one I paid for!
Answer: In my case, they sent e-mail that the tickets would be forthcoming. When I failed to receive them the week before the concert, per e-mail download as promised, I called their #, the person on the other end told me that it was will-call at the box-office with the copy of the e-mail I needed to bring. The box office told me that as a 2nd line seller, they did not keep them there. When I called to ask why they did this to me and demanded re-imbursal, they sent the tickets per e-mail download THE DAY AFTER THE CONCERT. They tried to cover their tracks with the credit card company, the problem for them was that the time stamp of their sending the tickets reflected the day after the concert. So essentially, they are not even competent as rip-off artists.
Answer: So sorry to hear you have been conned by this outfit. Apparently sometimes they DO send valid tickets, so I hope you are one of the lucky ones. I suggest you tell your credit card company (by phone and IN WRITING) that you are disputing this charge. Also tell everyone you know to avoid this rip-off company. I know this doesnt help you now, but in the future buy tickets only from Ticketmaster (I've never had a problem with them). Good luck.
Answer: I couldn't even open the download so I called the number and all I got was an answering system to send email and I did but no reply from them so the next day a call about 50 times until I got someone. After getting transferred to 3 different people and waiting about an hour for the supervisor the guy told me no refunds are allowed but money is 100% guarantee if it doesn't work at the time of the event. So I'm praying to God they are good the event isn't until the end of November
Answer: They are scoundrels. I know where their office is and went by there recently. I am laying out a plan.
Answer: If you have already purchased your tickets from this outfit, good luck. They sent me tickets for a concert in Tennessee and I asked for and live in Florida. They said it was MY mistake and that I asked for TN. They supposedly tried to resell the tickets and couldn't so I was out $300.00 for two tickets. They have something like 130 complaints and are a scam outfit. Next time order elsewhere and good luck with these tickets.
Answer: I just cancelled my order because they never sent the tickets. At least you got yours so maybe they will be okay. I would call the arena where the event will be and ask them how many issues they have had with this company. I emailed five times and they always sent an automated response back. Then, when I was in a meeting at work they finally called and the number just read, "33333" when they called me. No return phone number... very strange. They left a message to call them so I did immediately after my meeting (15 minutes)... the automated system was up and did not allow me to speak with a person. Thus far, I have never spoken to a real person when I call their number. I disputed the purchase, got my money back and bought tickets for much less at StubHub. I was surprised because my last tickets at Stubhub were kind of expensive... but these tickets (McCartney) were not too crazy expensive. Anyway, best of luck, and I would make a back up plan.
Answer: You will get your tickets, but they will likely have someone else's name printed on them. Worst of all, they will most likely not be honored at the gate/box office. My advice is to get a refund NOW and buy tickets from a reputable outlet like Ticketmaster. City Online are thieves and scammers. See my review about James Taylor concert in Norfolk, Virginia.
Answer: Contact the venue, give them all the details on the tickets received and verify if U will be able to legitimately use the tickets, considering the issues with this company that are so overwhelming. My experience reviewing all the people who describe their issues with them is that even if the tickets are usable, the overpayment is so excessive that it would have been better dealing with the regular ticket outlet for the venue.
Answer: Yes Ann, you will get your tickets. You just over paid by a HUGE amount... but other then that, the company is legit. They are just robbers the way they do it... thats all. Have a good time and yes, at least now you learned a lesson (like all of us on this site);-)
