The overall reputation of the company is marred by significant customer dissatisfaction, primarily due to issues with ticket delivery, refund policies, and customer service responsiveness. Many customers report being charged exorbitant fees, receiving invalid tickets, and facing unresponsive support channels, leading to frustrations and claims of being scammed. While some customers appreciate the variety of events offered, the overwhelming sentiment reflects a lack of trust and reliability. The company's rigid policies regarding refunds, particularly for postponed events, further exacerbate negative perceptions, suggesting a need for improved customer service and clearer communication.

Great gift for husband! Great experience! Will use this again for future tickets! Thank you!
For the first time using this site, I found it very user friendly and easy to use. My tickets printed easily also. I will be sure to use this site again in the future!
I picked my tickets, read the fine print, entered my info, paid for my tickets and received an email with them in less than 2 minutes. Totally recommend them:-)
My first time buying tickets this way. I didn't realize it was a re-selling format so was a bit surprised when I paid 40% higher than face value for the tickets.
Bought tickets in July for floor seat to 21 pilots. $260 for 2, day before the ticket I get an email and told the venue canceled my tickets. They offered us level 100 half the value. It's a company scam they Hold them to see if the value goes up which they have more than tripled. So they resale the floor seats for $500 each and offer me cheaper tickets. I will be calling the venue and possible file class action against them tomorrow. Seems several people have the same issue and never heard of a venue canceling ticket 24 hours prior. This company never intended on sending the ticket I bought.
THIS WEBSITE WAS VERY EASY TO USE AND I GOT MY TICKETS FAST AND EFFICIENT. SO YAY! GOING TO SEE AN AMAZING CONCERT NOW!
Was very quick and just printed tickets. Hopefully don't have issues that it has the original buyers name. Just wish they weren't sooooo expensive, but my daughter was extremely happy.
Fast and easy, Got electronic tickets within seconds. Price is more than value, but found tickets and my husband was happy. Thanks
FAST SERVICE, GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE, Would recommend and will use again. This is like my 3rd time using and never have had any issues.
Saving website to use again next event.
Hello everyone,
Just purchaseed my tickets through http://canadiantire.centreottawa.com that works in conjunction with onlinecitytickets.com. It was the worst experience. Very misleading advertisement and website and lots of fine prints to be careful about.
I just purchase 4 tickets for Disney on ice 2017. It says on website 4 tickets left for the price of $25 each. It asked me for my credit card. Then when I got the confirmation email, it says USD! For sure I called them and definitely they refused to give me any refund, exchange or at least better seats!
Much better seats are available on ticketmaster website for only $15 Canadian dollar (the exact same tickets I already bought, but paid way more money)
Ticketmaster is a website to trust and to purchase from. Do NOT try other websites especially the above websites I mentioned earlier.
I placed the order to buy 4 tickets, and, I received my tickets by email within 2 hours... First, I was kind of hesitating to use that site to purchase the tickets, because, in the past, I had a bad experience., but, with this site, everything was easy. Thank you
Getting tickets to the event I wanted was quick and easy. No hassle at all and I had my tickets delivered within a couple hours.
Speedy delivery. No issues with printing or saving pdf of tickets. I didn't see an option for ticket insurance like on Ticketmaster. I usually get that.
The website was very easy to use, effortless transaction and very smooth entry to the event! Would use this site again and recommend to others for ticket purchases.
I would use online city tickets again! Thank you! I have received my order and everything went smoothly.
I was fortunate to know that when they kept changing the guaranteed delivery date which, was terms of their "legal and binding contract" that they breached it. Paypal agreed thus, full refund. Offering tickets in a row that didn't exist =Fraud. Charging for shipping they weren't going to provide (email instead) means that ANY of you here can start a class action lawsuit against them for charging for services not provided.
Recieved my confirmation, just waiting for the tickets to come.
So excited to see Lady Gaga... heard she puts on a GREAT show!
I didn't receive my tickets, I didn't also receive my confirmation number, did you guys receive my payment
Answer: In my case, they sent e-mail that the tickets would be forthcoming. When I failed to receive them the week before the concert, per e-mail download as promised, I called their #, the person on the other end told me that it was will-call at the box-office with the copy of the e-mail I needed to bring. The box office told me that as a 2nd line seller, they did not keep them there. When I called to ask why they did this to me and demanded re-imbursal, they sent the tickets per e-mail download THE DAY AFTER THE CONCERT. They tried to cover their tracks with the credit card company, the problem for them was that the time stamp of their sending the tickets reflected the day after the concert. So essentially, they are not even competent as rip-off artists.
Answer: So sorry to hear you have been conned by this outfit. Apparently sometimes they DO send valid tickets, so I hope you are one of the lucky ones. I suggest you tell your credit card company (by phone and IN WRITING) that you are disputing this charge. Also tell everyone you know to avoid this rip-off company. I know this doesnt help you now, but in the future buy tickets only from Ticketmaster (I've never had a problem with them). Good luck.
Answer: I couldn't even open the download so I called the number and all I got was an answering system to send email and I did but no reply from them so the next day a call about 50 times until I got someone. After getting transferred to 3 different people and waiting about an hour for the supervisor the guy told me no refunds are allowed but money is 100% guarantee if it doesn't work at the time of the event. So I'm praying to God they are good the event isn't until the end of November
Answer: They are scoundrels. I know where their office is and went by there recently. I am laying out a plan.
Answer: If you have already purchased your tickets from this outfit, good luck. They sent me tickets for a concert in Tennessee and I asked for and live in Florida. They said it was MY mistake and that I asked for TN. They supposedly tried to resell the tickets and couldn't so I was out $300.00 for two tickets. They have something like 130 complaints and are a scam outfit. Next time order elsewhere and good luck with these tickets.
Answer: I just cancelled my order because they never sent the tickets. At least you got yours so maybe they will be okay. I would call the arena where the event will be and ask them how many issues they have had with this company. I emailed five times and they always sent an automated response back. Then, when I was in a meeting at work they finally called and the number just read, "33333" when they called me. No return phone number... very strange. They left a message to call them so I did immediately after my meeting (15 minutes)... the automated system was up and did not allow me to speak with a person. Thus far, I have never spoken to a real person when I call their number. I disputed the purchase, got my money back and bought tickets for much less at StubHub. I was surprised because my last tickets at Stubhub were kind of expensive... but these tickets (McCartney) were not too crazy expensive. Anyway, best of luck, and I would make a back up plan.
Answer: You will get your tickets, but they will likely have someone else's name printed on them. Worst of all, they will most likely not be honored at the gate/box office. My advice is to get a refund NOW and buy tickets from a reputable outlet like Ticketmaster. City Online are thieves and scammers. See my review about James Taylor concert in Norfolk, Virginia.
Answer: Contact the venue, give them all the details on the tickets received and verify if U will be able to legitimately use the tickets, considering the issues with this company that are so overwhelming. My experience reviewing all the people who describe their issues with them is that even if the tickets are usable, the overpayment is so excessive that it would have been better dealing with the regular ticket outlet for the venue.
Answer: Yes Ann, you will get your tickets. You just over paid by a HUGE amount... but other then that, the company is legit. They are just robbers the way they do it... thats all. Have a good time and yes, at least now you learned a lesson (like all of us on this site);-)
