The overall reputation of the company is marred by significant customer dissatisfaction, primarily due to issues with ticket delivery, refund policies, and customer service responsiveness. Many customers report being charged exorbitant fees, receiving invalid tickets, and facing unresponsive support channels, leading to frustrations and claims of being scammed. While some customers appreciate the variety of events offered, the overwhelming sentiment reflects a lack of trust and reliability. The company's rigid policies regarding refunds, particularly for postponed events, further exacerbate negative perceptions, suggesting a need for improved customer service and clearer communication.

The website was great. Quick and easy however you can only pick your row and not your seat. I gave it a try and ended up at the end of the row and would have paid for upgraded seats had I known where they were located. Will not choose to buy from a site again that does not show where the seats are. Don't mind the upsell just want to pick my seats. Thanks.
Very easy to use and quick to get tickets. Price was very reasonable. I was a little nervous ordering from a site I wasn't familiar with, but I received the tickets immediately and printed them out.
I paid $453.43 for four tickets that were purchased at $84 online. The actual tickets I received were printed as $49 and were located in the very last row of the venue! So I paid an additional $257.43 for tickets valued at $196.00! I feel cheated :(
This was the first time I've ever bought tickets through this site and I thought it was very easy to use. I was completely satisfied.
$631 for two $74 face value tickets! Suck it what a set you've got creep. Capatolism at it's best Now I'll buy gen. Ads. Tickets for the floor on friday. You totally suck!
Quickest, easiest, and cheapest way to buy concert tickets Literally a few clicks and the purchase was complete!
I hope that we can get aisle seats as my wife needs to go to the bathroom a lot... the purxhase was easy
All perfect, next time I will buy again here!
It seems to me in bad taste to be forced to write 100 words to advance in this step!
The online city ticket website was easy to use and tickets were downloadable as promised. I would use this service again.
This site is part of an elaborate scam to rip off inattentive ticket purchasers. DO NOT BUY TICKETS FROM THESE SCAMMERS. You are better off going to Ticketmaster.
Very easy to follow, and clear pic of venue, to pick the best section for viewing the show. Much easier than other sites. Highly recommended.
I recently purchased 2 tickets for the Garth Brooks concert in OKC on Jul 15. The OnlineCityTickets website was very user friendly and I received an email confirmation of my purchase almost immediately. So long as the eTickets arrive as advertised I will remain Very Happy!
Order ticket from them over night which they charge me 30 bucks for and I still don't have the tickets its been 4 days. They refuse to give me my money back for the shipping
I bought 2 GA tickets at easily 4 times what they are worth. I know, dumb. There are better sites out there that do not scam you out of your money, and actually give value for the fee they receive. Onlinecitytickets does not happen to be one of those business. Do not give them your business, ever! Scammers? Not quite. Ripoff? Absolutely!
Website was easy to navigate, but phew, those fees are high! If I could get down to the ticket office during work hours, I would, but this is my best option.
Outside of the $40 PER TICKET handling fees, outside of forcing me to buy two tickets minimum for the section I wanted to be in, on the site and the email confirmation I received it was stated that the tickets would arrive by the 5th of May. It was an entire month later that the tickets were delivered. When I checked on the site to see what was happening before bothering with an assumed unhelpful customer service department, I saw that the delivery had been changed without notice. Kind of a bull$#*! move. Will not be recommending this service to anyone.
Was very easy purchasing these tickets, This is going to be a great night out buying these tickets for my girl friend and I as a late bday present for the both of us, We have not gotten a lot of time to spend with each other since we are both married with grandkids etc.
Answer: In my case, they sent e-mail that the tickets would be forthcoming. When I failed to receive them the week before the concert, per e-mail download as promised, I called their #, the person on the other end told me that it was will-call at the box-office with the copy of the e-mail I needed to bring. The box office told me that as a 2nd line seller, they did not keep them there. When I called to ask why they did this to me and demanded re-imbursal, they sent the tickets per e-mail download THE DAY AFTER THE CONCERT. They tried to cover their tracks with the credit card company, the problem for them was that the time stamp of their sending the tickets reflected the day after the concert. So essentially, they are not even competent as rip-off artists.
Answer: So sorry to hear you have been conned by this outfit. Apparently sometimes they DO send valid tickets, so I hope you are one of the lucky ones. I suggest you tell your credit card company (by phone and IN WRITING) that you are disputing this charge. Also tell everyone you know to avoid this rip-off company. I know this doesnt help you now, but in the future buy tickets only from Ticketmaster (I've never had a problem with them). Good luck.
Answer: I couldn't even open the download so I called the number and all I got was an answering system to send email and I did but no reply from them so the next day a call about 50 times until I got someone. After getting transferred to 3 different people and waiting about an hour for the supervisor the guy told me no refunds are allowed but money is 100% guarantee if it doesn't work at the time of the event. So I'm praying to God they are good the event isn't until the end of November
Answer: They are scoundrels. I know where their office is and went by there recently. I am laying out a plan.
Answer: If you have already purchased your tickets from this outfit, good luck. They sent me tickets for a concert in Tennessee and I asked for and live in Florida. They said it was MY mistake and that I asked for TN. They supposedly tried to resell the tickets and couldn't so I was out $300.00 for two tickets. They have something like 130 complaints and are a scam outfit. Next time order elsewhere and good luck with these tickets.
Answer: I just cancelled my order because they never sent the tickets. At least you got yours so maybe they will be okay. I would call the arena where the event will be and ask them how many issues they have had with this company. I emailed five times and they always sent an automated response back. Then, when I was in a meeting at work they finally called and the number just read, "33333" when they called me. No return phone number... very strange. They left a message to call them so I did immediately after my meeting (15 minutes)... the automated system was up and did not allow me to speak with a person. Thus far, I have never spoken to a real person when I call their number. I disputed the purchase, got my money back and bought tickets for much less at StubHub. I was surprised because my last tickets at Stubhub were kind of expensive... but these tickets (McCartney) were not too crazy expensive. Anyway, best of luck, and I would make a back up plan.
Answer: You will get your tickets, but they will likely have someone else's name printed on them. Worst of all, they will most likely not be honored at the gate/box office. My advice is to get a refund NOW and buy tickets from a reputable outlet like Ticketmaster. City Online are thieves and scammers. See my review about James Taylor concert in Norfolk, Virginia.
Answer: Contact the venue, give them all the details on the tickets received and verify if U will be able to legitimately use the tickets, considering the issues with this company that are so overwhelming. My experience reviewing all the people who describe their issues with them is that even if the tickets are usable, the overpayment is so excessive that it would have been better dealing with the regular ticket outlet for the venue.
Answer: Yes Ann, you will get your tickets. You just over paid by a HUGE amount... but other then that, the company is legit. They are just robbers the way they do it... thats all. Have a good time and yes, at least now you learned a lesson (like all of us on this site);-)
