The overall reputation of the company is marred by significant customer dissatisfaction, primarily due to issues with ticket delivery, refund policies, and customer service responsiveness. Many customers report being charged exorbitant fees, receiving invalid tickets, and facing unresponsive support channels, leading to frustrations and claims of being scammed. While some customers appreciate the variety of events offered, the overwhelming sentiment reflects a lack of trust and reliability. The company's rigid policies regarding refunds, particularly for postponed events, further exacerbate negative perceptions, suggesting a need for improved customer service and clearer communication.

I got the tickets I wanted on line, but almost $60.00 in surcharge and convenience fee's is very steep.
My shopping experience was easier than I had expected. Please include an option to receive the tickets in the mail next time. Thank you
The overall experience was great. I really love it. But the extra charges are a little bit high. I bought 4 tickets without problems. Check your app, doesnt work.
The site was easy to use. I got my purchase approved instantly and the tickets were emailed within minutes. I would definitely recommend this site to anyone!
Very easy to purchase the tickets. I so excited to be taking my wife on her birthday to see Luke Bryan live.
Easy-to-use and get the tickets. Will use you again. Thank you. Easy-to-use and get good tickets.Hi have a good day.
Good service. Said I had to use 100 characters in this review, yes the very review you are now reading. These extra sentences are my attempt to use the requisite 100 characters. I believe I have achieved my goal of using 100 characters. Yep, pretty sure I did. OK that's about it, keep it real. Yeaaaaahhhhhh. Whatever's clever
Ya'all are conveinent and secure. I bought tickets to see adam lambert/queen and is so excited to get them and you have pay pal as a payment method that rocks!
So I bought 2 tickets to 'Futures: Nobody safe tour' on 6/10/2017. Worst Idea ever. So the FIRST time I order 2 tickets off this website for this concert cost me $175.32 after fees. Tickets were only $62 a piece, then after my bank account is charged that $175, they send an email about 10 minutes saying they cancelled my order for 'technical issues' on my Bank of America debit card. Also said it will be 5-7 business days in the email for money to be returned to my account. So I call the 800 number for OnlineCityTickets.com and speak with a customer service agent, get a SECOND order for 2 tickets at $38 a piece and this CS agent runs the same card of mine, charges my card and said a link will be available in my email for instant ticket downloads. So 30 minutes after the concert starts I am still waiting for a link. I don't get one until a new customer service person calls and said I have a link to a website where I need to take a picture of my Drivers License, Debit Card and sign a bunch of stuff. So I do all that and still get no response from this company via email or phone call. 3 hours after the concert starts, I finally get a phone call saying I am being refunded my money. So they ran my card for $250, got no tickets, missed the concert and now have to wait another week for funds to be returned to me. I ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND THIS SITE TO NO ONE. Awful advertising, customer service and I will never buy tickets from OnlineCityTickets.com!
Everything was super fast and secure. I would totally use this site for future purchase. I will be telling my family and friends to use onlinecity tickets for there future purchases. Thank you so much for making my first time purchase through your website much easy.
It was quick and easy however, I don't like that I can not choice my specific seats in the section I want nor can I see what seats are available when you hover over each section. I wanted isle seats and didn't get them because I only had the option to choose the section I wanted.
The overall experience was good. That said, charging a 25% mark up for a service that you have no choice but to utilize is insane and unfair to your customers.
Bought 3 tickets to Phantom of the Opera in Vancouver for myself and my two younger sons. The tickets were each $50.00. Well... by the time it was all said and done their service fees were almost the price of the ticket... FOR EACH TICKET! Also, they hide little writing to let you know that the tickets are in USD despite sending me a message that the sale price was in the agreed to Canadian dollars. Brutal company. I've been e-mailing them back and forth for a few days and they keep relying on the "All Sales Final" line. Do yourself a favour and go buy tickets elsewhere. I don't know how these people are still in business... I'm sure I'll enjoy the show regardless but it's a shame these folks are operating in the manner they are. 1 star is too much for OnlineCityTickets.
I found the process easy - even for me as a first time user - and I would certainly use this again. The instructions were easy to follow, the review was easily completed and have my tickets already so I am most pleased with online city tickets
I have no problem paying a service fee for the convenience of getting tickets online. But 30% is outrageous and just plain profiteering. That's wrong. I also blame the venues that refuse to even sell tickets at their own box office any more. They're obviously getting a cut of the service fees that these sites are charging. Sad...
Thanks there should be a conversion of tje dollar figure when your buying tickets right then an there
Answer: In my case, they sent e-mail that the tickets would be forthcoming. When I failed to receive them the week before the concert, per e-mail download as promised, I called their #, the person on the other end told me that it was will-call at the box-office with the copy of the e-mail I needed to bring. The box office told me that as a 2nd line seller, they did not keep them there. When I called to ask why they did this to me and demanded re-imbursal, they sent the tickets per e-mail download THE DAY AFTER THE CONCERT. They tried to cover their tracks with the credit card company, the problem for them was that the time stamp of their sending the tickets reflected the day after the concert. So essentially, they are not even competent as rip-off artists.
Answer: So sorry to hear you have been conned by this outfit. Apparently sometimes they DO send valid tickets, so I hope you are one of the lucky ones. I suggest you tell your credit card company (by phone and IN WRITING) that you are disputing this charge. Also tell everyone you know to avoid this rip-off company. I know this doesnt help you now, but in the future buy tickets only from Ticketmaster (I've never had a problem with them). Good luck.
Answer: I couldn't even open the download so I called the number and all I got was an answering system to send email and I did but no reply from them so the next day a call about 50 times until I got someone. After getting transferred to 3 different people and waiting about an hour for the supervisor the guy told me no refunds are allowed but money is 100% guarantee if it doesn't work at the time of the event. So I'm praying to God they are good the event isn't until the end of November
Answer: They are scoundrels. I know where their office is and went by there recently. I am laying out a plan.
Answer: If you have already purchased your tickets from this outfit, good luck. They sent me tickets for a concert in Tennessee and I asked for and live in Florida. They said it was MY mistake and that I asked for TN. They supposedly tried to resell the tickets and couldn't so I was out $300.00 for two tickets. They have something like 130 complaints and are a scam outfit. Next time order elsewhere and good luck with these tickets.
Answer: I just cancelled my order because they never sent the tickets. At least you got yours so maybe they will be okay. I would call the arena where the event will be and ask them how many issues they have had with this company. I emailed five times and they always sent an automated response back. Then, when I was in a meeting at work they finally called and the number just read, "33333" when they called me. No return phone number... very strange. They left a message to call them so I did immediately after my meeting (15 minutes)... the automated system was up and did not allow me to speak with a person. Thus far, I have never spoken to a real person when I call their number. I disputed the purchase, got my money back and bought tickets for much less at StubHub. I was surprised because my last tickets at Stubhub were kind of expensive... but these tickets (McCartney) were not too crazy expensive. Anyway, best of luck, and I would make a back up plan.
Answer: You will get your tickets, but they will likely have someone else's name printed on them. Worst of all, they will most likely not be honored at the gate/box office. My advice is to get a refund NOW and buy tickets from a reputable outlet like Ticketmaster. City Online are thieves and scammers. See my review about James Taylor concert in Norfolk, Virginia.
Answer: Contact the venue, give them all the details on the tickets received and verify if U will be able to legitimately use the tickets, considering the issues with this company that are so overwhelming. My experience reviewing all the people who describe their issues with them is that even if the tickets are usable, the overpayment is so excessive that it would have been better dealing with the regular ticket outlet for the venue.
Answer: Yes Ann, you will get your tickets. You just over paid by a HUGE amount... but other then that, the company is legit. They are just robbers the way they do it... thats all. Have a good time and yes, at least now you learned a lesson (like all of us on this site);-)
