The overall reputation of the company is marred by significant customer dissatisfaction, primarily due to issues with ticket delivery, refund policies, and customer service responsiveness. Many customers report being charged exorbitant fees, receiving invalid tickets, and facing unresponsive support channels, leading to frustrations and claims of being scammed. While some customers appreciate the variety of events offered, the overwhelming sentiment reflects a lack of trust and reliability. The company's rigid policies regarding refunds, particularly for postponed events, further exacerbate negative perceptions, suggesting a need for improved customer service and clearer communication.

I wanted to purchase tickets but ended up purchasing a parking pass. It's my fault for not thoroughly reading the print but parking passes should not be advertised by sections like tickets. The listing said "pit" with not indication that it was a parking pass until you click through and then you really have to read the small print. I did not realize this until my confirmation came in my email.
This is a very misleading practice and I will never use this service. I tried to reach a live person on the phone for 10 minutes with no luck. I was bounced from recording to recording. I could not find anyway to resell the parking pass and by the time I receive them it will be too late.
This was the best purchasing experience I've ever had! It was extremely easy and convenient. I will forever and always purchase concert tickets this way now
I wasn't sure how the process worked, but it seemed to be an easy process. This is the first time with this ticket process; I was a simple process. Thanks!
Very easy to use and accommodating. Thank you. I can't wait for this concert. So excited. Thank you so much
Never buy with this company... scammed us out of extra $200.00 started court proceedings after we could not get our tix... wanted refund never got it. Do not buy through this company!
Sell price was $149 and they charged me $242 Each!
And it doesn't tell you until you credit card passed it!
Purchased two tickets to Journey/Def Leppard concert at T-mobile Arena in Las Vegas for $529.50 (way too much). Showed up at venue and - NO TICKETS! Credit card was billed (and paid) two months before event, ticket agent at box office said this is common. Still can not get hold of OnlineCityTickets for refund. Filing complaint with BBB and NV Attorney General's Office.
I will never purchase from them again! Not only are they WAY overpriced but I tried to cancel my tickets the day after I purchased them and they told me no!
I have filed a complaint with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and Better Business Bureau against onlinetickets.com. I tried to purchase 1 lawn ticket for $32 for Ozzy Osbourne on 9/14/18 in Bristow, Virginia. The website does not allow you to review your order before you purchase and the company does not issue refunds for any reason. I was charged $375 for 8 tickets that I did not want and never received. I called the company to explain the issue and they told me that it was not their problem and that all sales were final. Furthermore, I did not receive the tickets. I will never use this company again.
Great tickets easy processing easy to order and find seats price was good too really easy to order from
It was quick and easy. I was surprised to see the fees tacked on at the end. Those should be disclosed when purchasing
I love the fastest way to get to what is happening in my home town! It helps you understand how to do this better.
Fees were higher than stubhub. I also received an email after my order went through stating I could get 10% off each ticket if I completed my order. Problem is the order was completed at the time that email came through. Disappointing I would have liked the savings
Bought 4 tix to Elton John - by the time they added their commission and tax and venue fee, etc - $500 ea for a ticket valued at $121. Huge rip-off.
Pretty cool and easy. Checked he seats I wanted and no issues. Checkout was a breeze. Definitely using this way to buy tickets going forward.
Was a very pleasant experience purchasing tickets. The gentleman that assisted me was VERY helpful in finding seats in my price range!
I had a couple of issues with other websites, but yours was best and no issues. Needed a ticket fast and it was provided quickly andeasily..
Answer: In my case, they sent e-mail that the tickets would be forthcoming. When I failed to receive them the week before the concert, per e-mail download as promised, I called their #, the person on the other end told me that it was will-call at the box-office with the copy of the e-mail I needed to bring. The box office told me that as a 2nd line seller, they did not keep them there. When I called to ask why they did this to me and demanded re-imbursal, they sent the tickets per e-mail download THE DAY AFTER THE CONCERT. They tried to cover their tracks with the credit card company, the problem for them was that the time stamp of their sending the tickets reflected the day after the concert. So essentially, they are not even competent as rip-off artists.
Answer: So sorry to hear you have been conned by this outfit. Apparently sometimes they DO send valid tickets, so I hope you are one of the lucky ones. I suggest you tell your credit card company (by phone and IN WRITING) that you are disputing this charge. Also tell everyone you know to avoid this rip-off company. I know this doesnt help you now, but in the future buy tickets only from Ticketmaster (I've never had a problem with them). Good luck.
Answer: I couldn't even open the download so I called the number and all I got was an answering system to send email and I did but no reply from them so the next day a call about 50 times until I got someone. After getting transferred to 3 different people and waiting about an hour for the supervisor the guy told me no refunds are allowed but money is 100% guarantee if it doesn't work at the time of the event. So I'm praying to God they are good the event isn't until the end of November
Answer: They are scoundrels. I know where their office is and went by there recently. I am laying out a plan.
Answer: If you have already purchased your tickets from this outfit, good luck. They sent me tickets for a concert in Tennessee and I asked for and live in Florida. They said it was MY mistake and that I asked for TN. They supposedly tried to resell the tickets and couldn't so I was out $300.00 for two tickets. They have something like 130 complaints and are a scam outfit. Next time order elsewhere and good luck with these tickets.
Answer: I just cancelled my order because they never sent the tickets. At least you got yours so maybe they will be okay. I would call the arena where the event will be and ask them how many issues they have had with this company. I emailed five times and they always sent an automated response back. Then, when I was in a meeting at work they finally called and the number just read, "33333" when they called me. No return phone number... very strange. They left a message to call them so I did immediately after my meeting (15 minutes)... the automated system was up and did not allow me to speak with a person. Thus far, I have never spoken to a real person when I call their number. I disputed the purchase, got my money back and bought tickets for much less at StubHub. I was surprised because my last tickets at Stubhub were kind of expensive... but these tickets (McCartney) were not too crazy expensive. Anyway, best of luck, and I would make a back up plan.
Answer: You will get your tickets, but they will likely have someone else's name printed on them. Worst of all, they will most likely not be honored at the gate/box office. My advice is to get a refund NOW and buy tickets from a reputable outlet like Ticketmaster. City Online are thieves and scammers. See my review about James Taylor concert in Norfolk, Virginia.
Answer: Contact the venue, give them all the details on the tickets received and verify if U will be able to legitimately use the tickets, considering the issues with this company that are so overwhelming. My experience reviewing all the people who describe their issues with them is that even if the tickets are usable, the overpayment is so excessive that it would have been better dealing with the regular ticket outlet for the venue.
Answer: Yes Ann, you will get your tickets. You just over paid by a HUGE amount... but other then that, the company is legit. They are just robbers the way they do it... thats all. Have a good time and yes, at least now you learned a lesson (like all of us on this site);-)
