The overall reputation of the company is marred by significant customer dissatisfaction, primarily due to issues with ticket delivery, refund policies, and customer service responsiveness. Many customers report being charged exorbitant fees, receiving invalid tickets, and facing unresponsive support channels, leading to frustrations and claims of being scammed. While some customers appreciate the variety of events offered, the overwhelming sentiment reflects a lack of trust and reliability. The company's rigid policies regarding refunds, particularly for postponed events, further exacerbate negative perceptions, suggesting a need for improved customer service and clearer communication.

Your website was easy to navigate and my tickets were exactly what I anticipated them to be. I can't wait till July to relive my teenage years.
Ordered expensive tix in row N center for Les Miserable. Ended up with tickets in row A. Impossible to see or hear. Guy next to me spent 10% of what we spent for tickets
It only took a matter of minutes to look at the seating chart and decide where we wanted to sit. Then, I made my selection, and did the transaction to order the tickets. I do not want to add pictures until we go to the event. I want to say this was so "stress free". Thank you for your amazing service.
OnlineCityTickets has taken significant money for not supplying what I wanted. I ordered 2 tickets! They say I ordered 6 tickets and charged me for 6 tickets. I called within 15 minutes of their confirmation telling me about the 6 ticket purchase. I got nowhere, in fact I was told their policy is that all sales are final! I can appreciate that but this was not a case of my changing my mind. I do not understand how even IF I made a mistake that I cannot get it corrected. Please understand I asked for 2 tickets. I cannot afford 6 tickets. What do I do now?
The system is really easy to use, but the fees are just stupid. A full 1/3 of my ticket price was added on as a fee.
I purchased and received my tickets within minutes... very easy process. Just wish the fees weren't so high for something done electronically. Nothing was mailed or handled so why so much?
Though I was able to compare the prices between here and venue, knowing up front what the fees were going to be would have allowed me to give higher review. Getting a charge for downloading the ticket when that was only choice for those seats seems crappy, especially when I didn't know there was extra fee for that too until checkout. May have chosen other seats to save more money.
It's 4 days before the concert, still haven't recieved the tickets, we paid 4 times the cost to attend this show, we've taken time off work and are driving several hundred miles to get there. NEVER EVER again. DO NOT USE THESE CON ARTISTS!
I ordered and printed my tickets. All the information for the confirmation of the billing to the credit card was correct, yet when the tickets printed they say: "Issued to Peter Unger". Just one problem, I'm not Peter Unger.
Great it went no problems love the sight more people should you'd it. So much faster than others. Can't Waite to see the show. My grandchild is so happy she is going to the show
I ordered tickets for a show. I went directly to the venue and when I went to buy tickets it redirected me to the above site. All was fine, except when I saw the final charge for my tickets. There were $126.00 in I don't know what charges. I never received an itemized breakdown of the charges. I will never buy tickets again from them nor recommend this site.
Good sevice when purchasing tickets, although i did think that paying over 40% in fees is a little steep, and was not shown on the ordering page!
This website to get my tickets was okay I wish I can just print my tickets and go about my day instead of typing all of this because I am a very busy person and just want to print my tickets out already
Helpful customer service. Treated me with respect and courtesy. Friendly! Cant wait for the concert that my friends and family been wanting to go to. He is their favorite all time singer
I could have purchased 2 Tickets for the price of 1. No indication of service charge?
Hefty email fee? Way cheaper to go directly to the venue and purchase tickets.
The service was quick the time was very acceptable I will refer anybody to this service and the rate is a 5
It was great and easy to purchase! Can't wait to see the amazing performance these boys will give! Thank you for making this experience a good one!
I got my tickets almost immediately, which is reassuring. However, I wish the price of the ticket was just the price of the ticket. Why add a $50.00 "service charge" per ticket? Just add fifty bucks to the price of the ticket. It would be much more honest.
I have not received my tickets and I have to say I'm a bit concerned because of the amount of money I spent. I am nervous about the mobile entry- please contact me and provide me with some kind of assurance that all will work!
I ordered 2 electronically transferable tickets to give as a gift for my daughter's 16th birthday. I called the number on the website and was quickly connected to very helpful agent. He explained the fees (which were quite high, but hey) and explained the tickets would be delivered through flash seats. I asked about a time frame for delivery and was told 48 hrs. This was acceptable and sounded reasonable. 6 weeks later, and far beyond my daughter's birthday, I still have no tickets. I have called customer service 5 times and spent hours on hold. The only time I have been able to speak to a real person is by calling the order line and asking to be transferred. The first customer service rep I spoke with, *Kenny Rogers*, hung up on me. The second, *Jennifer Lopez*, told me the company has no control over the tickets they sell, being only brokers. She explained that my tickets would be delivered anytime between now and within one hour of the concert. She further explained that if I drive to the venue (which is 390 miles from my home) and my tickets are not delivered in time for the show, OnlineCityTickets will gladly reimburse me for the price of the tickets, minus a small service fee. That seems like an awfully lot of "ifs" for something that should have taken five minutes. I pay, they send. Maybe I am missing something, but I have never had these issues with any other resale vendor.
Answer: In my case, they sent e-mail that the tickets would be forthcoming. When I failed to receive them the week before the concert, per e-mail download as promised, I called their #, the person on the other end told me that it was will-call at the box-office with the copy of the e-mail I needed to bring. The box office told me that as a 2nd line seller, they did not keep them there. When I called to ask why they did this to me and demanded re-imbursal, they sent the tickets per e-mail download THE DAY AFTER THE CONCERT. They tried to cover their tracks with the credit card company, the problem for them was that the time stamp of their sending the tickets reflected the day after the concert. So essentially, they are not even competent as rip-off artists.
Answer: So sorry to hear you have been conned by this outfit. Apparently sometimes they DO send valid tickets, so I hope you are one of the lucky ones. I suggest you tell your credit card company (by phone and IN WRITING) that you are disputing this charge. Also tell everyone you know to avoid this rip-off company. I know this doesnt help you now, but in the future buy tickets only from Ticketmaster (I've never had a problem with them). Good luck.
Answer: I couldn't even open the download so I called the number and all I got was an answering system to send email and I did but no reply from them so the next day a call about 50 times until I got someone. After getting transferred to 3 different people and waiting about an hour for the supervisor the guy told me no refunds are allowed but money is 100% guarantee if it doesn't work at the time of the event. So I'm praying to God they are good the event isn't until the end of November
Answer: They are scoundrels. I know where their office is and went by there recently. I am laying out a plan.
Answer: If you have already purchased your tickets from this outfit, good luck. They sent me tickets for a concert in Tennessee and I asked for and live in Florida. They said it was MY mistake and that I asked for TN. They supposedly tried to resell the tickets and couldn't so I was out $300.00 for two tickets. They have something like 130 complaints and are a scam outfit. Next time order elsewhere and good luck with these tickets.
Answer: I just cancelled my order because they never sent the tickets. At least you got yours so maybe they will be okay. I would call the arena where the event will be and ask them how many issues they have had with this company. I emailed five times and they always sent an automated response back. Then, when I was in a meeting at work they finally called and the number just read, "33333" when they called me. No return phone number... very strange. They left a message to call them so I did immediately after my meeting (15 minutes)... the automated system was up and did not allow me to speak with a person. Thus far, I have never spoken to a real person when I call their number. I disputed the purchase, got my money back and bought tickets for much less at StubHub. I was surprised because my last tickets at Stubhub were kind of expensive... but these tickets (McCartney) were not too crazy expensive. Anyway, best of luck, and I would make a back up plan.
Answer: You will get your tickets, but they will likely have someone else's name printed on them. Worst of all, they will most likely not be honored at the gate/box office. My advice is to get a refund NOW and buy tickets from a reputable outlet like Ticketmaster. City Online are thieves and scammers. See my review about James Taylor concert in Norfolk, Virginia.
Answer: Contact the venue, give them all the details on the tickets received and verify if U will be able to legitimately use the tickets, considering the issues with this company that are so overwhelming. My experience reviewing all the people who describe their issues with them is that even if the tickets are usable, the overpayment is so excessive that it would have been better dealing with the regular ticket outlet for the venue.
Answer: Yes Ann, you will get your tickets. You just over paid by a HUGE amount... but other then that, the company is legit. They are just robbers the way they do it... thats all. Have a good time and yes, at least now you learned a lesson (like all of us on this site);-)
