The overall reputation of the company is marred by significant customer dissatisfaction, primarily due to issues with ticket delivery, refund policies, and customer service responsiveness. Many customers report being charged exorbitant fees, receiving invalid tickets, and facing unresponsive support channels, leading to frustrations and claims of being scammed. While some customers appreciate the variety of events offered, the overwhelming sentiment reflects a lack of trust and reliability. The company's rigid policies regarding refunds, particularly for postponed events, further exacerbate negative perceptions, suggesting a need for improved customer service and clearer communication.

Oliver was extremely helpful and patient -- he spoke clearly and professionally and found answers to my questions -- I felt he showed respect and wanted to help me get the tickets I was looking for - excellent service!
They charged me $200/ticket, while if you go to the standard production site, it's $74/ticket. I was fooled from the google search frontal page w/ 4.5 star review. If I clicked to read, you will see other people had similar poor experience. When they email you the ticket, you strip off the standard face value now. WARNING: A HUGE SCAM!
I was shown patience and respect during my telephone contact with customer service. I was assisted with finding the best seats for my husband, who has a physical disability.
Here is what happened
My wife searched for SF symphony and clicked on top google results (turned out to be an ad as I realized and not the symphony site itself) - this was key mistake
1. I bought a ticket for $112 from the site
2. I got very confusing receipts. One receipt for $446 and 3 receipts and tickets for $44
3. After calling and talking to them I realized what happened:
They sold me $44 tickets at $112. They also charged $102 (!) fee on top of 250% markup and a $8 download fee (I guess for providing capability to actually get my ticket)
They charged me for 3 tickets instead of 1 and refused to refund 2.
They sent me 3 original tickets and receipts that listed the price $44 which added to the confusion
Net results $446 (!) for a $44 ticket that is still available to purchase from sf symphony directly for list price + $10 fee for a total of $54
Please do not make the mistake and order from this site! I paid for a particular row 2 months prior to the concert. And they switched my seats 20 rows up:(
Very frustrating experience
One of the tickets we purchased would not download. Called and all they did was resend the bad pdf file. Now I have 4 people going and only 3 tickets. They won't refund even the price of the ticket I didn't get
It was helpful to have the icon that let me know these were aisle seats.
Would like a more interactive seat map to know where every available seat is exactly
Easy to use and quick too. I paid through PayPal for an additional layer of security. I couldn't get tickets through Barbara B Mann.
Excellent fast service, received my tickets by email within minutes... super easy to shop online. Looking forward to seeing him live
The event is rescheduled for a future date (1/19/19) but the tickets still
Show the former date 10/12/18. I would like to confirm that this will not be an issue at the venue.
Purchased 3 tickets, listed on the site at 33/ticket. Total price increased over 30% on check out and I figured it was the typical handling charges these sites have... then I got the tickets delivered and the face value is 1/2 what I paid. Terribly overpriced, they don't list any other info on the ticket until it has been purchased, then they offer no refund or return.
I called to get some pricing info on an event. Ticketmaster was charging huge fees and I just wanted to see if this site had a better price. Once the guy realized I wasn't going to be purchasing tickets right away he became very rude and short with me. After asking a few questions and getting useless answers, he hung up on me! I couldn't believe it! Horrendous customer service!
Listen if you purchase a low budget ticket you will get what you pay for and therefore this company is more than likely getting a great review. However, if you purchase a ticket for example a suite ticket and you pay a high amount for those tickets, you WILL be scam and get bleachers ticket which is what happened to me. Please, please be very careful when purchasing from this third party company. Take my lovely advise and buy your ticket through ticketmaster.
Why as a consumer should I have to put up with this long, enduring process? I am computer illiterate and would just like a hard copy ticket. It would be nice to have a
Souvenir.
I highly recommended for future purchases. It is quick to purchase although too many review requirements.
Very good, very easy but stiff service charge plus download fee. Love that you can either use credit card or paypal.
Answer: In my case, they sent e-mail that the tickets would be forthcoming. When I failed to receive them the week before the concert, per e-mail download as promised, I called their #, the person on the other end told me that it was will-call at the box-office with the copy of the e-mail I needed to bring. The box office told me that as a 2nd line seller, they did not keep them there. When I called to ask why they did this to me and demanded re-imbursal, they sent the tickets per e-mail download THE DAY AFTER THE CONCERT. They tried to cover their tracks with the credit card company, the problem for them was that the time stamp of their sending the tickets reflected the day after the concert. So essentially, they are not even competent as rip-off artists.
Answer: So sorry to hear you have been conned by this outfit. Apparently sometimes they DO send valid tickets, so I hope you are one of the lucky ones. I suggest you tell your credit card company (by phone and IN WRITING) that you are disputing this charge. Also tell everyone you know to avoid this rip-off company. I know this doesnt help you now, but in the future buy tickets only from Ticketmaster (I've never had a problem with them). Good luck.
Answer: I couldn't even open the download so I called the number and all I got was an answering system to send email and I did but no reply from them so the next day a call about 50 times until I got someone. After getting transferred to 3 different people and waiting about an hour for the supervisor the guy told me no refunds are allowed but money is 100% guarantee if it doesn't work at the time of the event. So I'm praying to God they are good the event isn't until the end of November
Answer: They are scoundrels. I know where their office is and went by there recently. I am laying out a plan.
Answer: If you have already purchased your tickets from this outfit, good luck. They sent me tickets for a concert in Tennessee and I asked for and live in Florida. They said it was MY mistake and that I asked for TN. They supposedly tried to resell the tickets and couldn't so I was out $300.00 for two tickets. They have something like 130 complaints and are a scam outfit. Next time order elsewhere and good luck with these tickets.
Answer: I just cancelled my order because they never sent the tickets. At least you got yours so maybe they will be okay. I would call the arena where the event will be and ask them how many issues they have had with this company. I emailed five times and they always sent an automated response back. Then, when I was in a meeting at work they finally called and the number just read, "33333" when they called me. No return phone number... very strange. They left a message to call them so I did immediately after my meeting (15 minutes)... the automated system was up and did not allow me to speak with a person. Thus far, I have never spoken to a real person when I call their number. I disputed the purchase, got my money back and bought tickets for much less at StubHub. I was surprised because my last tickets at Stubhub were kind of expensive... but these tickets (McCartney) were not too crazy expensive. Anyway, best of luck, and I would make a back up plan.
Answer: You will get your tickets, but they will likely have someone else's name printed on them. Worst of all, they will most likely not be honored at the gate/box office. My advice is to get a refund NOW and buy tickets from a reputable outlet like Ticketmaster. City Online are thieves and scammers. See my review about James Taylor concert in Norfolk, Virginia.
Answer: Contact the venue, give them all the details on the tickets received and verify if U will be able to legitimately use the tickets, considering the issues with this company that are so overwhelming. My experience reviewing all the people who describe their issues with them is that even if the tickets are usable, the overpayment is so excessive that it would have been better dealing with the regular ticket outlet for the venue.
Answer: Yes Ann, you will get your tickets. You just over paid by a HUGE amount... but other then that, the company is legit. They are just robbers the way they do it... thats all. Have a good time and yes, at least now you learned a lesson (like all of us on this site);-)
