I posted a job with a description about needing to get quotes for a QCAT tribunal hearing. My deck is needing to be dismantled and completely rebuilt and this was mentioned in my job description. The job will probably cost in the vicinity of $80,000-$100,000. I believe I got 7 responses and about three people came out to measure up and quote the job. They have all shown on the Oneflare site, "declined" and three gave a variety of reasons; too busy, job too big and the fact that this matter is subject to a QCAT decision. I feel very let down by the process and after speaking with Oneflare have been told that they are just a platform for tradespeople to find work. My advice to anyone going on this site is to look up an individual tradie who advertises on the internet without using these platforms. Onflare can not assist when this kind of thing goes down.
I have since found out from one of the applicants for the quote that he is still going ahead with the quote and he does not know why Oneflare has marked the job as being "declined".

I hired a plumber from oneflare and he overcharged for the job without even fixing the problem. What's even worse is that this tradie Justin Bonacci from Bontech plumbing rang to abuse me calling me a fat arse selfish $#*! and terrible mother I was a horrible bad person according to him even though I didn't know him. All this because I wanted him to return to fix the leaking toilet issue he changed me for and didn't do so I asked for a refund. I complained to oneflare and they did nothing about it

Recently we acquired the services of MRMServices through Oneflare.

We could not be more happy with the service we received from Younes. His approach from the beginning (when we were quoted) to the completion was very genuine... He was happy to make suggestions to us, that would benefit the final look, and thus made all the difference to the finished work. His attention to detail on all painting was exceptional...

I was having trouble finding a removalist that I could trust and so using oneflare was amazing!

Having removalists call me to provide quotes and being able to read reviews helped me make my decision. After weeks of being unable to decide I made a decision on the spot when I signed up with oneflare.

I am a Tax Agent/Accountant who has successfully tendered plenty of work on Airtasker. I decided to try Oneflare as well - BIG MISTAKE! So many fake leads absolutely dishonest, system I will be contacting Consumer Affairs. My phone would me full of texts each morning with fake leads as they must use a call centre in India to generate them overnight. Airtasker has a much better system.

I'm sorry to hear you haven't been as successful on Oneflare as you'd hoped.

The tax agent and accountant categories are especially popular on Oneflare which will be why you're receiving so many notifications of leads from your selected service areas. If they're annoying you, you can switch them off via your Account Settings > Notifications at anytime. From this page you can also limit the time window in which you receive these texts, as customers tend to post jobs at all hours of the day and night.

All of our leads are customer generated and we have a system that detects and filters out any overseas IP addresses, incorrect email addresses or possibly inappropriate job requests to protect our businesses from receiving these.

I'd encourage you to quote on 'Verified' leads to increase your chances of having the customer respond quickly. If a lead displays that the email or phone number has been Verified, this means the customer has gone out of their way to confirm their contact details are correct.

Please give us a call on 1300 306 727 9am-5pm AEST so we can give you some tips to win more work.

Do not recommend

I used this app as a contractor. I have had couple of cases that I couldn't reach the customer I got charged for it.
I called to the office and case couldn't be resolved. Wasted over $200. NOT RECOMMENDED!

We do acknowledge that there are cases where the customer doesn't see your quote or occasions where the customer changes their mind and no longer needs the job done. In either of these instances, it is possible to have the quote refunded to you. We would recommend that you reach out to our Customer Happiness team to discuss options. In some cases, however, the customer may have selected to go with another supplier. We do suggest that you call our Customer Happiness team who may be able to help with some advice on how to win more work with Oneflare. If a Quote seems to good, Then the Phone number never answers, You are calling Rajid back in India, May be good for clients, But they need to be honest with leads 1 in ten people will actually answer the phone. Called one guy for a quote from Building commission, never heard of Oneflare. They give out false Contact details

Efficiency plus +++

Oneflare is such a brilliant system without having to troll through the yellow pages or the internet for that matter to find your required tradie or technician, they come to you after listing your job specs and receiving at least 3 quotes takes so much hassle and stress of getting a job done.
I could not recommend Oneflare enough just BRILLIANT.

I received 3 quotes immediately and within minutes I was able to compare and book a building and pest inspection for the next day. On the day of the inspection I reveived a comprehensive report for both and was able to go ahead with purshasing my new home. I highly recommend Oneflare.

Being based in Australia's capital of Canberra you have as much chance of seeing a Pollie drinking red wine at a bar then getting a call or Tradie to attend your property for a quote. I have used OneFlare for Plumbers, Tilers, Tree Cutters and a Fencer and everytime l got calls and emails in under an hour and realistic and reasonable quotes. Everytime the work was done as promised and to the high standard l expected.

Highly recommended to anyone wanting a job done right at a good price.

I attempted to register with Oneflare but as they didn't have my industry or profession listed they told me that I couldn't. When I informed them that my industry had a growth rate of 28% per annum and when I requested to liaise with someone else higher, they told me that I couldn't. After reading the reviews here, I am glad that I didn't.

Reading these reviews I see some themes coming through that ring very true in my experience! Tried oneflare out years ago and found it to be less than satisfactory in many ways, was induced some time ago to look at it again but negotiations broke down as the staff member was axed just prior to us putting something that was workable in place. Recently I had another crack at it and found that returning genuine dud leads is impossible and any form of contact by email is ignored other than a robotic email reply that promises contact within 48 hours but does not happen. Spoke with a call center representative that went round and around in circles meaning nothing was resolved and the promise of a management call went unfulfilled.
So for my money, it's all too hard to communicate with them and promised responses simply don't happen, so between those issues, the quality of the leads and the inability to obtain credits for genuinely dud leads we are going to stick with the other ways we obtain work!

NB: Please don't bother putting some BS platitude of a response below, if you are sincere contact me direct my various emails and return requests should be fresh in your system.

We apologize we were unable to respond to your email within the 48 hours, unfortunately sometimes we do get very busy and cannot respond as quick as we'd like.

I can see that you've already spoken to a staff member when you called in and discussed all these issues with them. We discussed the automatic refund policy with you in which we will automatically refund your quote if the customer indicates they're no longer going ahead with the job, or if the quote hasn't been seen within 48 hours and you haven't attempted to contact the customer. We also gave you some pointers on using the system to your advantage, such as utilizing your saved quote message and how to contact customers effectively.

You did request that we put your feedback through and have someone give you a call back regarding this if anything was able to be resolved, however, there was nothing further we could do in this instance. Please be assured your feedback has been passed on to the correct teams.

If you search 'Web Designers in Toowoomba' and click on the Oneflare listing, you are listed on that directory page.

As you're not a Premium Listed business, aren't active on the platform and don't have a completed profile, you're not listed at the top - which is why you may not have been able to find yourself. If you scroll down, you're listed around 15th place.
