Out of about ten to fifteen potential buyers, I would say only one or two, if I'm lucky, actually consider buying a posted item. And if I'm very lucky, maybe one of those fifteen will actually buy. Lots of buyers promise to buy, and or show up at a certain time, then flake out, don't have the common courtesy to say they're no longer interested in buying the item, or they they insult you by offering way too low of a price, lowballing. Many don't seem to understand the meaning of "Price Is Firm", or "Firm Price", as they'll keep asking the same stupid question of "Is that your lowest price?", or something idiotic to that extent. This website is full of idiot buyers, and who knows, maybe idiot sellers also, as I have not bought anything but only sold a mere few items in almost a year. I had this one smart $#*! buyer who wanted to buy a $10 item from me, who lived over 120 miles away, one way, and who wanted me to deliver it to him, after I made it clear that I don't deliver, or ship. Anyway, the Offer Up website has become/is a bull$#*! website, and one which no longer works, as it's not possible to post items for sale, as it's always asking to edit the location, but will not accept the zip code or the GPS location. Also, don't expect customer service help, as there is no customer service. So I'll be going elsewhere for selling my items. I'm giving it zero stars, and if my review does not post, I'll give it the one lonely star just so that my review goes through. Just as I thought, will not let me post the review without at least one star. And one star it is! Stay away from this stinking website. There are many others to choose from.
You ever watched a dog take a dump in 30degree weather? Offer Up reminds me of that steaming pile of $#*!. I can draw many comparisons.
OFFER UP stole my money. I sent my item to the buyer, with the OFFERUP MAILING LABEL and they keep telling me to "send my package" regardless of USPS confirming delivery! OFFERUP IS A SCAM!
Here is what I sent to the company... did I get a response... NO. I am done with them.
I have a major problem with OfferUp. It is most
Frustrating that a person can make several offers. Send msgs to the seller and
No response. To may way of thinkkng if they want to be part of offer up
There should be some sort of rule as to how long they can continue without be
Responsiable. I have only had only two purchases and yet I've made
So many offers but all that happens is no response. Also, why are people
Allowed to indicate a price so low. Then when you offer above that amount
They still don't respond. I have even sent a msg asking what was their
Asking price. One of these individuals have gotten at minimum of 6 offers
And msgs from me and not the courtesy of a response.
Have made at least 20 purchases using e-bay. It is
So much more responsive in all aspects.
Just thought you should know. Also, this is at least
The 3rd time you have told me to changes my password because
Of some sort of unusual posts! What is that all aboutdoes
Not say much for security. Also, trying to make changes too my account
The instructions are not correct! You keep referring to the app... I don't use the app. I use the Internet!
As a webmaster I can tell you that the site has a lot of problemsfor instance
If I put in for instance Seattle I still get items from all over the
Country. Why is that.?
Offerup.com has one major problem in my opinion. This is the second time I have encountered this problem and it is just soooo frustrating. You research a product, look on various sites to get an idea of what the product is worth, finally decide to buy it on offerup. You pay for the item and offerup lets you know that they have sent a shipping label to the seller and has told them to ship as soon as possible. After a week, no notification that the seller has shipped your order. So you write the seller. No response. You notice that the item you purchased is still being sold on the seller's site. You write the seller, "Hey have you shipped my item and why is it still for sale on your site". No response. In the meantime you lost out on opportunities to buy the product on other sites. The last time this happened I was looking for a leather desk chair. I asked the seller if it was still available. No response. I really wanted this particular chair and was so happy that I finally found it. Kept writing the seller, no response. Finally I was able to obtain his phone number and I called him. He told me he sold the chair 3 months ago. I wasted about a month on this guy. I have a feeling I am in the same position with the seller I am currently dealing with. In my mind, I bought the item, no need to continue to look for it. My guess is the seller hasn't looked at his offerup account in a year. No need to respond to me as he probably sold it 6 months ago.
Offerup has to have the ability to mark an item as sold so that buyers are not put in this position. As soon as offerup sends that shipping label to the seller, the item HAS BEEN SOLD., and offerup should marked it as sold.
There is no incentive for a seller to keep his offerup account up to date once an item is sold or to ever look at it if he hasn't sold something in the last year. There is no phone number that I can call for help at offerup. No Offerup email for me to complain to so that offerup can find out if the seller is still active on their site. Just a HORROR SHOW.
I tried to post a Word document showing the email proof of purchase but your system would not allow only allow jpeg, gif etc.
I have sent many emails to OfferUp as I have not received my money on an item sold back in December they do not respond and I still have not received my money, bad business!
Filed dispute w/ my bank offerup said I had to lift the dispute to get my $ now they closed the case
Site is garbage. People love to simply waste time. Attracts broke A$# crackhead people. Badly managed. Have the nerve to ask for promotion money.
Most people dont take down their add, many never answer you when you contact them to purchase their item. Too many uneducated advertise on this site
People send you emails asking if its available. You take the time to respond back and say yes. Then you never hear back. Whats that about?
Confirmed users don't ship product on time and don't respond to messages. Every day there are new scammers to the point where they run the site.
$#*!ty $#*!ty $#*!ty
Still $#*!ty
You really want me to say $#*!ty over & over & over
Still $#*!ty work. Period
OfferUp failed to protect my merchandise with their postage label. It was damaged during the shipping.
In my Area Offerup Mobile App inflitrated by Applance Liquidation 2 Prophile and its 30 plus connected prophiles that are posting night and day duplicate posts. Take up 50-75% of my local feed. They all have same writeup see below. Edit pics a but. I spent
2 weeks trying to report without any change. They are only getting free advertising. When you go to this hole in the wall place (bc they will my msg you) items and prices no longer available. Also there has been a dramatic increase in brand new prophiles that ask if freshly posted items are available then msg you for your phone number. I've reported more than 10 of these is past week with only one being deactivated. Is Offerup staff of COVID Vacation? I'm getting very tired of this app which I once loved above the rest to buy and sell items on.
Here is what the appliance ads all say in English and Spanish
//Come to 8231 burnet road Austin Texas!

I have been on offer up several years. Recently trying to sell items including collectables etc due to my wife's health. I couldn't log in on my PC but could my cell phone app. I sent email asking for help. It took a few days. I was able to sign in on both my PC and Cell app. What I didnt realize for several days after. They deleted ALL my prior history, of purchases, od sold item, and MOST importantly, things I was selling. Fast forward after attempting emails, and then attempting emails again to EVERY dept Offer up allows, I received 1 email stating how they are Achieved. Remember, I've already waited about 10 days for answers. I followed the instructions how to bring them back So I could see them. Wow, offer up achieved the items Im selling, that means marked as SOLD. I did not do this. Offer up did. Once Archived means sold means you cant relist it. You have to Re Post the pictures, The verbiage, the amount etc.I live in Miami Dade Country Fl. Many speak spanish. I even translated the verbiage into spanish. I also listed a Nascar type Drive Experience for sale. They sent me an email stating I violated there policies fo advertising a service... ***I DID advertise a service. Its a Groupon type item for sale, Hello Lees then the face value I paid for it. **** Then before I could respond they Blocked my account. THat was a few weeks ago. I emailed them asking to please please have upper management or anyone that really truly has authority to fix what they messed up and contact me. I also stated that in many of my emails I stated I don't think they are aware of how poorly there customer service is or, They dont care. Either way. Im done... It sucks to think that I am trying to cover living expenses and Cant with Offer Up. If I share the medical conditions that my wife is going through and myself included it will be very heart breaking. I said that so hopefully someone will try to use compassion in there thought
I hate offer up so much I plant fake post just to waste the time of the rude low ballers.
And all that ship on offer up are a bunch of stupid asses
Answer: No limit to how many items you can post. To delete the post. Just click on offers. Them there will be a mark as sold button, edit button, then next to that is a button with 3 dots. Click that. Then click archive. Done. No affiliation
