Northbound Gear

Couldn't have chosen better pants …. They keep him warm on chilly days. He is always finding it too cold unless he wears long underwear underneath his pants but not since he has started wearing Northbound Gear… he swears they are the most comfortable pants he's ever worn.

Great Canadian company with great, confortable and durable products. Their products are well crafted with quality fabrics. The only negative point that makes me give only 3 stars and not five, is their shipment delays. It took over a month for my last order to be received.

I've been looking for something I can throw on on a cold morning in Wisconsin to walk the dog or walk along the lake. Usually, I have to "double layer" with tights and then sweats and these pants eliminates the need for that. Super comfortable and durable. I wear them more than I expected to. I only wish the zippers weren't bright orange but if that's the least of my concerns, we're doing ok.

After filing the complaint below, I heard directly from the company and they resolved the return issue and I promptly received my refund. I feel better about the process now! Thanks to Northbound for reaching out.

I received my order but the pants were a poor fit and needed to be returned. I followed the instructions to return them and have heard absolutely nothing since. I am currently out of pocket for 2 pairs of poorly fitting pants and the mail costs of returning them.)

I'm an outside worker, if you know what it means I can tell you this pants are warm and wind proof I really appreciate the people who work on this pants because it's an excellent and quality material they use. I love it. Thanks a lot guys, keep working like that making sure the costumers are happy with your products.

Great Service. Love the Womens 'Apex" Waterproof Jacket I ordered. Tried it on when it arrived, Lovely and warm but was too small for comfortable wear, so exchange processed and just posted return back, to now await receipt in Canada for exchange to occur.

They were slow at resolving the issue but at the end I got a refund. The product had the incorrect description about the material. They don't seem to have stock in Canada. The product was sent from overseas. They should not accept orders if the product is not in stock. Hopefully they will improve their policy

After several messages with the manufacturer I had reported one last time that my pant order had NOT been received. Lo and behold they showed up today in time for Christmas. Close inspection of the product shows me that it is of top quality and I am satisfied that r this is a great Canadian pant. My Granddaughter who will receive these pants for Christmas will most likely love them as well. Yhank you for assisting in getting the pants to me.

I ordered the water resistant adventure pants. I use them for commuting to work on my bicycle. They work very well, are warm and block the chilling wind too. They are a generous fit, but comfortable. Definitely worth the purchase.

I now have 8 of their products - summer pants, fall pants, belts. Excellent fit, advertised size is correct.
Very comfortable. I really like all the zippered pockets for security - nothing will fall out. Rugged pants - and I wear them almost every day. WELL DONE. Very Happy!

The trousers I ordered were too small so needed to exchange for a bigger size. Didn't realise that you have to pay postage, even for an exchange. As the return address is Canada and I'm in the YK it was very expensive!

Quick reply to my query. My purchase was only available in black and not grey.
I emailed my partners measurements as I was a little confused with euro and US sizes here in the UK. On arrival the trousers were one size to big so will buy a smaller size as we liked the quality. £ 20 postage to return item to Canada, so with the returns charge it was not really worthwhile returning.
I filled in the email notification for when a smaller size was available, but a month later they still are not there.

Had to return as trousers much bigger than UK sizes I also measured the leg length and when arrived were too long so had to return. Not the easiest of processes as no on line returns portal, emailed the company they emailed back with details of how to return. Costly to return and not yet received the refund, although husband has ordered before and received refund ok so probably just timing.

The delivery was quicker than expected and the products 2 x weatherproof trousers green and came are brilliant. Warm, comfortable and weatherproof, I now have these trousers in all 4 colours and until the weather gets really warm, when I switch to my lightweight northbound gear trousers, I will wear them almost every day.

Update this issue has now been rectified and I expecting although not yet delivered a replacement pair of trousers.
It has taken over a month for the customer service team to contact me about a poorly stitched pair of trousers. When I replied its been another week and I still havent had a reply

The shopping experience was ok. The pants are warm, but don't breathe at all. I get wet quickly from sweat, my phone in my pocket is wet. I'm not a fan of vertical pocket openings, which I didn't realize in viewing the photos.

There was a slight delay in the shipping, I got a very fast response from the company when I contacted them and the pants ended up arriving not long after. Very good quality hiking pants, unique design. Will be looking to order other products from them.

I purchased a pair of these pants for my guy and as picky as he can be I was a bit worried he might not like them or they might not fit him the way he likes. He spends a lot of time outdoors going for walks etc. Well he loves them! Even up here in northern Alberta in Canada where the temperature has dropped down to -40 degrees with the windchill, he said the pants were wind proof and he was warm! He likes them so much that he has created his own account in order to purchase another pair. He wants a green pair but you are out of stock in his size.
