The delivery took way to long. My expectations were not set for such a long wait. It looked as if my package was just sitting in New Jersey. This is indicative of a scam and was upsetting. Too bad, as the products are well constructed and confortable. In fact, the best products I've received via mail purchase. Get a new shipping contract or make it very clear the expected wait time and train your customer service for honest responses that will promote trust and not aggravate more distrust.

If I could give a negative star rating, I would! I came across this website on Facebook and I was hoping to get some pants that were long enough for me. When the pants came, they came from an address in New Jersey and there was NO packing slip and no order number. I've been trying for days to reach the company to obtain the information I need to return the pants. I've left more than 6 messages via voicemail, email and text and have heard nothing back. I'm beyond disappointed, and believe this site is a scam that does not accept returns.

Excellent customer experience so far. This is my second purchase. The first one I was a bit skeptical buying from mere ad in Facebook and the opposite side of the globe. Not all my online buying had been pleasant. Having received the products this week (in nick of time too) I am happy to say my fears are allayed, hence this second purchase. The first one I am exchanging due to incorrect size (on my part), this is still being processed but I am happy to proceed with this due to my experience so far with the company which has been great (after purchase information, tracking etc).
Well done NorthboundGear team. You put the fashion back into trekking. I will be showing this to my wife and our friends next.

Have ordered and received 2 Northbound Gear winter pants, 2 tactical belts and their high end winter coat. Very high quality; great fit, superb service. Especially impressed withe the fact I could order a 28 inch leg with 36 inch waist. Most clothiers start with a 30 inch inseam meaning extra tailoring charges and inconvenience. Will be looking for summer weight gear in a few short months.

Everything was great. I have placed two orders now. Super comfortable pant that I use for work and hunting and fishing.
Stitching let go in the crotch on one pair not long after owning, wasn't too happy over this. Hoping my other pairs don't let go in the seams

Product is excellent, went to take up 25% discount offer on similar trousers for wife, told that I was too late taking up the offer and 15% was what you would give.
You offered me 25% I didn't ask for it, then you reneged on a paltry excuse, no thanks.

I don't why there is a tipping thing if there is no human interaction involved. This appears to be fully automated... anyway I'm not complaining, I have a pair of your winter adventure pants on that I absolutely love (I'm in Vermont and there is 2 Ft of snow outside).

Shopping is easy but I waited a long time to receive my first order. My second order came within a week and a half. The pants I ordered are perfect for the cooler temps we have here and they save me from wearing long underwear to just walk our dogs.

Will be taking the socks to a backpack trip at the end of June, but... I put them on, filled bathtub with two inches of water and walked in the tub. The socks' exterior were soaked, pulled them off and had DRY feet, not even moist. I wear size 11 shoes/boots and the medium sized socks are the right size.

If there is a return policy that could keep return postage fees to a minimum that would be great. It cost me $50 to return an item and because of that may not purchase in the future although I really do like the store.

My jacket and pants came quickly and in excellent condition. I've worn them both professionally planting for a landscaping company and they performed above my expectations. Warm, rain proof, flexible, couldn't be more happy.

The "Tip" section at checkout is a pretty souring experience, and quite frankly I'm annoyed to even see it...I'm not ordering food with Skip the Dishes or UberEats, I'm buying clothes! One would assume that a quality clothing company would be paying their employees a living wage, rather than badgering clients for a tip for "the team" on the checkout page. Absolutely not impressed by that, at all!

First of all, I absolutely loved the pants when they finally arrived (5 stars for that). So much so that I paid $22 to return them so I could reorder a smaller size. My 2 stars are for their shipping policies which I should have read more carefully before ordering which was my mistake. Their site says it can take sometimes six weeks for an item to arrive. Mine took almost three weeks to get to me. Then unfortunately, I needed a smaller size, so I had to pay $22 (nonrefundable) to have these pants mailed back by USPS to their headquarters in Canada. I live in the US and I thought I was ordering from Jamaica, NY. Returning an item also includes a $5 restocking fee. It's now been over two weeks and I haven't received my refund for the pants I sent back or received the smaller size I reordered. I sure hope these pants are everything I wanted when they do finally arrive. My advice is to read their shipping and returning policies thoroughly before ordering and know what you're getting into.

These are the best snow pants I have ever gotten! I am an ice skating coach/pairs skater and I was trying to find a pair of pants that was tear-resistant and waterproof but still gives me full range of motion. These pants are the best! However the pants took almost a month to show up after the tracking info said they would arrive in a week. Also tip culture is out of control, had these guys not asked for a tip I would have rated five stars. I am just so tired of being asked to tip for things for which nobody has ever tipped in the history of tips. I bought your $90 pants, that is how I support the company. Why do you need a tip too? I am curious…

Ordered the winter waterproof pants and absolutely love them. Living on Vancouver Island these pants are perfect. I play a lot of winter golf and couldn't design a better pant. I didn't give 5 stars for my purchasing experience as the shipping was terrible as it took a very long time to receive my order. Online shopping as a bar set nowadays and this shipping does not meet it. Great product though

Order seemed to take a long time to arrive. Ordered pants for my husband and I. The pants are great but I have returned mine as they were too big. Found your sizing chart a little off. I have asked for an exchange and returned the pants today at a cost of $21.00. Followed all the steps so hope it doesn't take too long. Thank you!

I ordered pants for a trip my wife and I had to Patagonia and Antarctica 2 1/2 weeks before we left. Everything indicated we would get our pants in plenty of time for the trip. I followed up 3 days before leaving and there was no way to track out order. It said it was with Canada Post in Ontario, I am in BC. I sent and email and got an inadequate response. The delivery occurred after we left for South America, it took more than 3 weeks to deliver but the worst was the inability to track the package. Great product but don't count on their ability to get it to you in a timely manner.
