I just tried to apply for Nordstrom Rack credit card. After filling out the form online, they asked me to call a number to provide the application number, which I did. And the agent got the number and told me the application was declined and didn't give me any reason for it. Then she just hang up on me. I have good FICO score (750+) and I don't know why I got declined and they didn't give me any explanation. And the agent's attitude was neither helpful nor warm. Her attitude is so cold and rude! The whole thing is a very unpleasant experience! I've never seen an agent this cold and rude from any other companies. This is so bad!
These folks are a mess every time I go into one of there stores they follow me life a thief. But hey guys I'm not a thief. Worst store to shop at ever I'll be taking my business else where.
I placed an order in December 2021. Received most of the items in a reasonable time but got a box yesterday (6 weeks post order date) with the last portion of the order which should have contained 3 dresses. Instead, when I opened the untampered package, it contained only two of the three dresses. I contacted customer service immediately and the representative stated that they would submit the information. Today, I received an email stating that the refund was not approved. I contacted customer service again to make an inquiry on why I was not being refunded for an item that was not shipped. I received a second email stating that I need to contact my local police department to report theft. Absolutely ridiculous customer service and response! The only thief is the company who didn't include the item in the shipment but will not make the customer whole. After shopping with Nordstrom Rack for years, this situation is a complete turnoff and I will no longer support this company.
Thought there'd be some courtesy, helpfulness with the Nordstrom name, but thanks to rude, disengaged, put off register clerk (Aubriel) i will continue to shop online
I bought the shoes for 174 dollars, it was a present for my son. The Nordstrom Rack sent me used dirty shoes in a tiny plastic bag without the original box. That was shameful for me when my son opened his present. I took photos of those shoes and I will post them on Facebook and Twitter. Since making that purchase, I have researched the competition's pricing which is easy to do. In an instant, I pulled up dozens of competitors - all priced CONSIDERABLY LOWER than Nordstrom Rack. Rack was the highest priced with every single product search. And that price tag that claimed they was 24% lower? It was completely false. The original price at every other store was $37.99 or $39.99 for a set of 2, about $25 for 1 - ORIGINAL price. I looked up Nordstrom Rack's pricing adjustment policy and, guess what? They don't offer price adjustments. Here's what their website says: "At Nordstrom Rack stores and nordstromrack.com, we work hard to offer competitive prices on everything we sell. With this effort in mind, we do not price match or make adjustments, as our prices change often to ensure the best possible value, every day." So, guys, looks like Nordstrom Rack is taking advantage of people who trust the Nordstrom name and believe that Nordstrom Rack is still a discount store. I'll be returning my $1000 worth of purchases which is a big bummer.
I purchased a dress as a gift for my sister on Christmas two weeks before Christmas. She didn't like it and it didn't fit her right plus the fabric was too rough on her skin. I took the dress to Nordstrom Rack across from Galleria Mall in Redondo Beach, the manager was so rude and declined me the return saying it was a final sale dress and that I should have known. I was very surprised because I would never buy a dress with a final sale sign on it. I wanted to try another location hoping they would believe me, so I went to the Rack in Elsegundo and the manager there didn't even want to hear my explanation or look me in the eye. She declined my request for a return. I swore to her that I didn't see it and even if I had seen it, I would not have known that the final sale word is a non refundable one because It never happened with me before. I felt so embarrassed for the way she dealt with me. Yet I have called customer service several times and each time I get someone that puts me on hold over and over again only to get someone at the end telling me they would not return the dress. I feel I'm punished to keep a dress in my closet that's theirs. They're forcing their merchandise on me. This is what I get for being a loyal customer of Nordstrom. Stay away for Nordstrom Rack. They're so disrespectful and unprofessional not to mention how rude in stores and on the phone. No more shopping from them. If playing customers for fools is how they make their profits, then people should be aware and stay away. I'm so upset at how disrespectful they have treated me with this matter.

I ordered a beautiful leather bag for my husband's birthday. When it was delivered, I opened the box to old worn sneakers. I called corporate and they would just hang up every time I called. I had to physically go to the store which is 30 mins away from me. They didn't even have the bag in the store so the best they could do is return the money to my card. I was left with no gift for my Husband. Never doing online shopping for Nordstrom Rack Again! After reading reviews I see this is not the first time this has happened
I purchased a pair of Nike shoes online and had them sent to the local Nordstrom Rack location. Despite the fact that it was the busy holiday shopping season they were shipped quickly and when I got to the store it was packed with shoppers but the staff was very organized and efficient and got me through the line quickly. They had the best price on these shoes and I would not hesitate to recommend Nordstrom again!
Will not price adjust if item purchased goes on sale even one day after purchase. Ridiculous… stores everywhere having trouble and they try to make it harder on customers.
I tried to cancel an order i placed that day and they wouldn't let me since it was processing, the said it was a final sale item so the only think i could do was to resell it online because they couldn't do anything to help me... their exact words "in this kind of situations I recommend you to try to sell this items online, you know, you can even get benefit with the price, because you bought it in a very good discount."

The Rack doesn't have the deals it used to have. Now, it's just a smaller version of Nordstrom. Until it changes, I have no reason to go out of my way to shop at the Rack since I can get the same thing at any other department store or online --and probably for a lower price.
I had an issue with my order and was told that I have to wait for 3 day for them to call me. No calls were made to me. After calling back the Costumer service rep got an attitude and told me that I need to wait for a call in order to process my order. At this point it has been a week with no call and my Christmas gifts will not make it on time. When attempting to address this with the costumer service rep, I was told there is nothing they can do for me. WORST SERVICE EVER. Will not try to purchase anything from this establishment again and I urge everyone to shop elsewhere as they dont care about your problems regardless if they created them or not.
If you order an item and they ship the wrong item to you, you end up getting a partial refund because you pay for the shipping both ways as well as the tax paid on the item that you never received! That was how I felt and rightly so. But I must admit that after contacting them thru their chat now line, I was kindly assisted and refunded the remainder so that I received all of my money back. I'm just not sure how I feel about trusting their shipping department again.

Won't refund my shipped items that I only bought to meet the minimum on shipping that I don't want without the sneakers and need money for now that I'm replacing gift. Placed an order for two pairs of boots on 11/30/2021. Received one pair December 7th and other pair was to arrive on December 8th. December 10th still no boots and the tracking info isn't updated. Call customer and there's a problem with the distribution center so they didn't go out right away. Despite the delay, they chose to send the package with a 14 day delivery. When I asked if they could expedite it to receive them earlier than 14 days especially since the package is already delayed I was told it's Christmas and what do I expect? There are delays this time of year. Customer Service representative was rude and condescending. First time shopping there and will definitely be the last!
I ordered some fairly expensive boots around November 23rd and have yet to receive them. Customer service did not even try to contact shipping to see what was going on. I tried to cancel, but they told me I had to wait until December 14th to cancel and that they could not do anything else for me. Nordstrom Rack took 16 days to ship a $200 item that I ordered. To make matters worse, LaserShip stopped updating tracking shortly after taking possession of the item. It hasn't moved in 10 days. Nordstrom says that, according to store policy, I have to wait 9 *business days* before they will consider it lost. LaserShip hasn't responded to me at all. Well, I'm not playing their games! I have a policy too: I *will not* wait more than a month for an order and I will not be victimized! I called my credit card company and initiated a charge back.
This company is simply unable to meet the expectation of today's shoppers. They take way too long to ship, have unreliable shipping partners and treat customers badly compared to other successful online businesses. This is what it looks like when business leaders fail to keep up with technology.
