Ordered two front and two rear shock towers which after 3 weeks of waiting never arrived. Rang and emailed and they stated they'd chase it up with Royal mail and get back to me. Emailed once again asking of the progress and could new parts be sent out. To which they confirmed they would send new parts through management. Been waiting overall just over 2 and a half months. Nothing at all has arrived and despite numerous emails asking and stating my disappointment and annoyance they now no longer reply to any of my emails. Absolutely disgusting company and appalling customer service. Highly recommend to avoid this company at all costs!
Pre ordered nitro car online, had no email on the dispatch date so decided to email them (as you cannot talk to anyone in store) and received an acknowledgment email back stating they would try to answer within 24hours. 20 hours later got an email back with tracking number. When I tracked my parcel it stated the parcel was NOT collected due to overweight item. Again I had to email and wait another 20 hours before a reply, by this time I had received my order. So far so good with the product but not having a phone contact that could have answered my question in 5 minutes (not waiting 40 hours) would have given more stars.
I would definitely recommend reading other reviews before buying from this site.
My kids have this expensive hobby and this is where I go to scratch their itch. You might also find some vintage HSP r/c kits that are long out of production. Great place to pick up really cool gifts. As far as hobby/toy stores go, Nitrotek is about as good as it gets.
Please beware if this company. Awful after sales rude staff who lie to you and no way of speaking to someone. Product arrived broken then won't send a new one out. Then it's just email after email arguing with them.

Will continue doing business there It's just the nature of this hobby, but RC vehicles will eventually break. Bought from Nitrotek as I was bored of buying cheaper RC cars for my kids and not being able to fix them due to spare parts not being available. Unsurprisingly the children crashed and broke the car in rapid time. I have just ordered the replacement part and we will soon be crashing again.
Bought a Zipper ebike from Nitrotek in October. Arrived on time, easy to assemble and I absolutely loved it, used it most days for fun and for avoiding horrendous parking charges in town. Only downside was someone else also loved it - enough to steal it from my garage. They could've stolen my Jag or my motorbike but no, the Zipper was more appealing. I've just ordered a replacement - when it arrives I'll sleep with it under my pillow so this one doesn't get stolen.

One of the best rc model stores I've seen in the town. You can find models on cars, planes and boats etc. Also, they've got a pretty big selection of miniatures. Very nice! Large selection of everything! They have great selection for hobby enthusiasts.
Bought R/C tank from Nitrotek. Model arrived faulty.It took me 3 years to get them fix it with spending extra £40 on postage. Model in the end cost me a lot more than it is worth. Looks like no body is there to control this on line thief of a company.In the end one should be on one's own guard and boycott such rouge companies who steal people's money in the name of on line shops.
Great motor for the lad and me! Excellent service and easy to find spare parts. Highly recommended. I recommend this site. I can see ya spending a bit of brass with these guys however the spare parts are reasonable and not too pricey. It could be expensive otherwise.
Easy to use site, great upgrades and selection of models. Bought my lad an R. C. Car for Christmas and as it is so damn fast, accidents happen. This site has allowed me to upgrade the weak parts and make it even better and more reliable. From what was a toy, has now turned into a hobby and an addictive one. Keep the fun going.
Ordered and paid for rc car with ease. It arrived really quickly. Great! Gave as a gift on Christmas Day and unfortunately over a week later it still doesn't work. Communication between the site and myself is awful. They are really slow to return information and nothing is being sorted out. I have a very unhappy son and I'll be returning the item as soon as I can get response from them as to how I do this!

When it arrived I charged the RX battery put batteries in the transmitter and filled it with fuel absolutely ready to go straight out of the box. Im very pleased with is and thinking of purchasing another one.

Delivery was efficient. But Day 2 the item failed.
Trying to get the item returned was an absolute nightmare. Even then they try to fob me off that a technician needs to inspect and report before the next course of action is decided. At this point I reminded them of the Distance Selling Laws which apply here in the UK and that I am entitled to a full refund within 14 days of ordering which this was. If they ignore this there are several options to me which will be considered

I've just bought a petrol buggy for my son.
This company has so many bad reviews that I wished I had checked out. The product I purchased is of poor quality even though it was the most expensive r/c car at £479.00.
It has had so many faults and the company are totally non contactable by phone and have totally ignored my refund request. AWFUL! Please do not take the risk. There are lots of alternative shops.
