I came here to find a gown for a red carpet event and I absolutely hate shopping for gowns. Not only did the women here know what size I wore, but they also knew what would look good on me. This site seems to get mixed reviews. From my experience, it was quite good. Nice selection of big brands but prices usually over my budget. Delivery was fine and no great drama. There was a small problem and it took a few attempts to get it sorted but it came good in the end. Not my first choice but I think I would shop here again.
I was so disappointed with this site. The dress arrived completely wrong size. The measurements were 4-6 inches off. I sent the dress back as I couldn't even zip it up. Their customer service claims that it is to size so it is my word against theirs. I got a store credit. I tried buying other items, same result every single time. I spend over $600 and have only $200 of it left in store credit and I never ever wish to purchase anything from them ever again. The only reason why I give them 2 stars is because the quality of their product is a step up from Chinese sites... if you are lucky enough to get the product that fits.

Fantastic dresses! But to a budget friendly student, I can only look up at those gorgeous dresses outside of the shopwindow now. I have been searching for a prom dresses for a while. These prom dresses stores I have browsed, talkaboutprom.com, persundresses.com, coralsbridal.com, forever 21 and so on, New York dresses has the prices twice or even three times higher than them. But their dresses are really nice. I have bookmarked a few really stunning styles.

I must say i have purchased a few dresses and i am not happy with the quality of the fabrics. The laces used are average quality and the fabric underlay is less than average. The costs of the dresses should ensure better quality fabrics - or even a detailed description of the fabric. I find myself changing the underlay to a better quality which then adds to the cost of the dress when i receive it.

I wish I did see all these reviews before my purchase. As Amy A. I ordered dresses on 4th of July and was promised to receive them during 2 weeks. But I have never received any of them. Called to company today and got the same answer from Vidya that the dresses were lost in transit and I will never receive them. The worst customer service ever. The worst company ever!

After reading all the reviews good/bad, I did my own research. I went on the designers website and found New York dress to be an authorized seller of this designer. So... the gowns are authentic, NOT FAKES! I followed the size chart and ordered accordingly. I am a size 10, but as recommended, I ordered a size 14. My gown arrived in less than 1 week, and I have to say it is gorgeous! The quality is exquisite and the fit is perfect with exception of the length. I will need to get the hem shortened (which I assumed). Bottom line, this is a reputable company and I will definitely order from them again.

Omg! How did I not see all these reviews before buying from this company? The pictures of the dresses are all fake! The dress looked nothing like the pic and looked like it was counterfeit and very cheap quality. Now I can't get them to pick the phone or get back to me after I sent pictures like they asked in an email. I was just told the email didn't include pictures when it rightfully did!
I have 6 days to get my money back or go spend more money to find another dress before the wedding! Just horrible!
I recently bought my prom dress with this website and I received the dress 4 days after I ordered it. The dress fit perfectly and was exactly like how it looked in the picture. I recommend using their sizing chart to make sure you get the right fit. The dresses are a little expensive but they have unique and original designs. I do however advise those ordering from outside the U. S to read the return policy BEFORE ordering because I didn't realize that I would have to pay for shipping if I wanted to return the dress and that I would only get store credit, until after I ordered the dress. So read all the policies before ordering. Overall, I am very happy with my experience with this website and would recommend to others who are looking for prom dresses!

It was just over a year ago and I ordered a beautiful Allure gown from New York Dress and happy to say everything went well. There was a little bit of confusion at the start but I think that was my fault. But everything worked out fine. The dress was perfect but needed some small alterations. I was a bit skeptical with having to order my dress online as a final sale but if you get sized at a wedding shop and have them help you decide your size you will be fine. I had very minor alterations that needed to get done. My dress fit perfect, was flowing in the wind and looked great on a sandy beach. My daughter is ij a pageant this summer and the dress we ordered was spot on perfect and arrived on the day I was told it would arrive. Made an appointment online, received text the day before to confirm the appointment, showed up at our assigned appointment time to be told they were "in a meeting". Asked if we could come back in an hour. They had my contact information since they texted me the day before. A $50 Uber ride and the inconvenience put a bad taste in our mouth so we cancelled our appointment.
