Today we visited New York Dresses for the first time and were so impressed!
Made an appointment online which was very easy. We arrived to a beautiful showroom and our own personal stylist James. He gave us the time we needed to browse all the stunning gowns. They are arranged by color and very beautifully displayed James new his stuff and his inventory and did everything possible to match me with the perfect dress for my sons wedding.
We narrowed down the choices and I look forward to ordering the perfect dress soon. Thank you James for go the extra mile today. I will be letting all my friends know about my new favorite dress shop!
I purchased 2 dress for a sweet sixteen party since January 17th and has not received it as yet. I contact this company several times and they are taking no responsibility for the package. This is unacceptable. I am going to post my experience on every social media for the stress they caused.
We visited New York Dress over the weekend looking for a sweet sixteen dress for my daughter. We were greeted by our own personal stylist James. James was fantastic! He listened to my daughter wants / needs and he came up with a beautiful selection of dresses for my daughter to try on.
He was very professional, advised me in diverse ways, but respected my opinions at the same time. He gave us the time we needed to browse all the stunning gowns. We narrowed down the choices and ordered the perfect dress for my daughter. Thank you James for going the extra mile. It was a wonderful experience from beginning to end! James is an amazing and a wonderful person. Looking forward to seeing him again.
I'm so upset and disappointed at the service or lack there of NYD. I ordered a Portia and Scarlet Danielle dress for my daughter's 21st and it was to arrive within 2 weeks and after waiting for nearly 4 weeks with not even any correspondence from them for the reason even after I sent two emails. As I lived in Australia, I had to stay up at 12 pm to try to call them and after being disconnected twice. I was told by a sales lady Nicole that my dress is damaged and can't be delivered. To say that I'm disappointed is an understatement, now I have no dress for my daughter's big celebration.
After 12 days of ordering my dress, I sent an email to check what happened and turns out they don't have the size!
Called costumer service and they helped with nothing and gave me a refund!
Worst customer care I have ever experienced!
I got the Cinderella divine CD406 and it was the best decision ever. If you're thinking about buying please do! I was skeptical about it at first but I got a size 6 and it fit perfect, a little bug on the chest part but I'm small in that area. Here are some pictures!
I had ordered this dress about 15days a go or more, I paid extra money to have it delivered earlier which it didn't happened, not only the delay problem but the dress was bad quality and deciving picture too. Im not saying that because I want to return it either.

I had a terrible experience with NY Dress. I ordered a wedding dress from them to try on but it didn't fit and they're now telling me that they don't allow returns. I wouldn't order anything from them given their terrible customer service.

Thank you so much for the quick delivery and beautiful dress! I took the measurements according to the site for this dress and it fits like a glove. Well except for 10 inches which was expected since im only 5ft. Thank you. For the stress of buying a mother of the groom dress so much less stressful! Bless your company!
I was trying to find a particular dress to wear at my step-daughter's wedding...and even called the designer Mon Cheri trying to find the dress... I was told it would be available in August! I needed it in less than a week. So I looked online to see who sold Mon Cheri. Designer said I was looking for a needle in a haystack.
I contacted Danny at New York Dress and he was AMAZING! He went out of his way to help me and called around and found my dress! The EXACT dress that I wanted. And I got it in TWO days! It was a size too large but I've had it altered and it is just perfect. I cannot thank Danny enough! 5 stars all the way! Or in this case 10 stars! Just a wonderful experience during a stressful time.

This company is not accepting any returns - I have been searching for gowns for an upcoming formal wedding for my girls and have been so warry of non big store sites and now I know why I now have $1800 of gowns that can't get returned! Absolutely ridiculous that almost a year into Covid and they are still blaming no returns on that.

We had Cherrelle as our salesperson and she was THE BEST. She absolutely knew what she was doing and was so sweet, she pulled dresses that she thought would look good on me and they all did! The dresses themselves are stunning and although I didn't pick one, Cherrelle helped me narrow it down to the final two, and at least one was her original pick
My mom and I had an amazing experience at New York dress. They have a big variety with beautiful dresses and amazing help from James. Thank you so much.
They sent me a dress that was apparently for my exact measurements. It was a good 6 inches away from doing up in the back! How the hell is that even possible!? After Begging them to let me return it, they agreed but charged me 40 bucks in "fees" OH and I also had to pay 30.00 bucks to ship it back to them! Love flushing 70 bucks down the toilet for their mistake! Don't waste your time with this site! They will rip you off!

L wore the dress on my son's wedding day recently, and so many people came up to me and said how great l looked. They all asked ''where did you get your dress from", they loved the style, color and fit. Even when my husband made his speech at the reception he said during his speech "and l would like to thank my wife for looking like a million dollars" l truly love this dress, l felt great wearing it. We just don't seem to have the variety and styles that they have in my town.

A dress that I ordered from another site, did not arrive on time for important engagement I had in 3 days. I called them late at night, the agent was expert, within 30 minutes she helped choose not only a lovely cocktail dress but a matching shoes and evening bag. She made sure that all items are available to be ship on time. I received the order a day before my engagement and was very pleased. I have ordered twice from this company. Both times the gowns were perfectly described in their description. I read their refund policy which was standard and made sure that my gown was returnable, just in case something was not perfect. I did not return either time. I am a very satisfied customer and plan on ordering from them again. I need a gowns every year for Mardi Gras Balls.

6 days for dress to arrive to Australia. Lovely dress was given extra fabric and breast shapers! Measurements were spot on! I will still do some altering but it was the correct 00 size! Dress was beautifully made and exactly like the picture! Hope this helps other people!

I came here to find a gown for a red carpet event and I absolutely hate shopping for gowns. Not only did the women here know what size I wore, but they also knew what would look good on me. After reading all the reviews good/bad, I did my own research. I went on the designers website and found New York dress to be an authorized seller of this designer. So... the gowns are authentic, NOT FAKES! I followed the size chart and ordered accordingly. I am a size 10, but as recommended, I ordered a size 14. My gown arrived in less than 1 week, and I have to say it is gorgeous! The quality is exquisite and the fit is perfect with exception of the length. I will need to get the hem shortened (which I assumed). Bottom line, this is a reputable company and I will definitely order from them again.
