I purchased a 5700 xt for $450 on Oct 2.the GPU came defective, I returned it two weeks ago it says it was delivered back to the warehouse on Oct 9. A week later I don't even have acknowledgment email of them receiving it or getting a replacement. I have no GPU so I don't have a computer. Amazon would never do this to me. This is criminal behavior at its finest, I don't really want to go through my bank but it looks like I might have to. NEVER AGAIN WILL I BUY FROM THEM
I bought a MSI MPG Z690 CARBON WIFI and CPU light would instantly turn on. Tried the headless Bios flash option, checked RAM, CPU, etc and nothing worked. (All hardware worked perfectly on a ASUS ROG MB).
Sent it back and they told me the board was switched in the box and would grant the refund request. Now I'm a few 100$ short with an expensive book holder.
Go with Amazon, at least they will refund / replace if you get a bad luck with an online order.

I have been a customer of Newegg for about a year and a half now and I love the way they treat you and take action if something doesn't go right or if you are not satisfied with your product and anything of that nature. Personally I have never had any problems with Newegg I love the design and their shipping is amazing I ordered a monitor on sep 2nd and it got there on sep 3rd in less then 24hrs I am very appreciative of there staff and if you ever need any help just contact support they will be glad to help and resolve your problem.

I used to be a loyal customer with Newegg, cause they had great customer service. BUT NOW A DAY EVERYTHING CHANGED! I just order a hard drive from them, and when i got the item, it was defective! Then i do the RMA with them, and they said i did some scratch on the label!? I really shock! I used to do computer maintenance with my customer, i know how to treat my hard drive in the right way, while it in my hand there is no drop no hit with anything! Now they said i scratch the label and void the warranty!? NICE MOVE Newegg.com! REALLY NICE! I want to tell everyone watch out for their RMA, if you got your purchase just wish you won't get the defective one! Or you will get a hell of the way to return the item, by the way, you need to pay for the shipping even they send you the defective item, and it's not cheap, my hard drive cost me $15 if i use their UPS shipping.
I am very satisfied with it. The ship time was short and they treated me great! The service rep also had a very good recommendation which i followed and i LOVE my new 40 inch TV!

I returned a product and they shorted my refund by almost $8. There was no shipping, so it wasn't that. I contacted them and they told me to contact the independent company that sent me the item. They never responded to my 3 contacts and I contacted Newegg 3 more times to tell them I want my dang money. NOTHING FROM ANYONE! Won't buy from them anymore.

I have been a customer of newegg for more than 20 years. Newegg has been my "go to" place for all my computer parts.
I placed an order on July 5th, 2023 for some memory sticks, the ad said I would have it in 5-7 days. More than a week later, my purchase still ha not shipped! It seems newegg has started letting 3rd party sellers (scammers) sell on their website. After multiple attempts to get a intelligent answer from the 3rd party seller as to why my order has not shipped yet, I told them to cancel the order and refund my money. I also called newegg customer service and they were of little help. Thier answer - " we will contact the seller and see what the problem is." 5 days later I have still not been contacted by newegg with an answer!
I called my credit card and told them to stop payment on this order. After explaining to them the problem, they agreed and said I would see the money back in my account in 2-3 days.
Stay away from newegg, they are no longer a reliable bussiness! After just checking the Better Business Bureau, I see they have an "F" rating. That's really to bad, I really liked doing business with newegg for 20 plus years!

I've been buying things from Newegg since 2006 without any major complaints, but within the past couple years their shipping times have became horrendous. I'm writing this the day after Christmas (which is understandable for there to be shipping delays and is exempt from my criticism).
I decided to enroll in the Newegg Premier program thinking that would solve my issues - but even with rush processing and overnight shipping (you have to pay for anything but their cheap-o option even with Premier) I'm getting things slower than the free shipping options (not Prime) from Amazon. It's kind of embarrassing.
After my Premier program runs out I'm not going to renew and I'll stick to Amazon. Shame really, they used to be the best place for PC parts and now I cry when the part I need/want on PCPartPicker is only available on Newegg.
I will say that their customer support is fantastic however. I've had to contact them for a part that got lost/stolen in the mail and a couple times for price matching parts and every time things were solved flawlessly, so A+ for that.

SHADY. Watch carefully when you do anything here. Went to order, processor asked for additional card information, kept declining claiming our mastercard couldn't be verified. I got irritated and went to eBay (found it cheaper by a few dollars anyway). Wrote a product review telling them to make sure the order was cancelled as their processor was incorrect. About 2 hours later, received a "payment authorized" email. Basically, they went in after fact and authorized my payment after I told them not to and their system declined the purchase. Have since asked multiple times through email and telephone to cancel and later pick up their package before it is trashed. Well, guess my bank will have to deal with them now. What a joke these people are. Makes me wonder if they write their own reviews, judging from the rating they have on other sites! USE CAUTION WITH THESE FOLKS. Oh, and also it has been over a month now with no response to my demands. That's more than enough time before I write these reviews wherever I can possibly find!

I've been ordering from Newegg for a good ten years. A handful of times my order didn't go as planned and Newegg has always taken care of me. One time I just plain ol' ordered the wrong thing. By the time I realized it, it had already shipped. Called the support team and told me to just send it back and credited me for the entire amount of my purchase.
Twice I when I had issues with an order Newegg had stepped up and took care of the problem. Once it was my fault and they gave me a credit anyway. I only order my PC components and related parts form them, and have never used their newer home related pages or their 3rd party sellers so I can't comment on that. But if it is sold by Newegg directly, then you can't go wrong. They have online chat and telephone support and neither one of these is hard to find if you have a problem. Most of the time their prices are better or at least comparable to others, but honestly; don't mind paying a bit more for their support and my piece of mind. My experiences with Newegg have been nothing but top notch.

Newegg used to be awesome. I used them for all my computer parts for about 20 years. Now I avoid them at all cost. I hate what they've become. The site is convoluted with high priced marketplace junk from the same sellers that ruined eBay. If you decide to sift through all the garbage and see what they are actually selling, you'll find their prices are higher than just about everyone else. They have changed their policies over the years and you really need to read them closely for each product as many different items carry different return policies. My last purchase was a GPU that failed within minutes of being installed. It came with a "free" game that I did not want and could not purchase the card without. Upon trying to rma the gpu, they tried to deduct $60 from the refund for the game. I had to contact them and wait on hold then fight with them to get refunded for the game I did not want or use. Finally get a refund a week and a half later and they did not refund the $10 shipping charge on a defective product returned within 24 hours. That was the final nail in the coffin. Personally, I don't need the headaches dealing with companies like this. Respectable companies refund shipping on defective products. I don't see any value or advantage to buying from Newegg anymore.

I purchased a Samsung TV for my sons birthday from Newegg and had it shipped to him at the college he is attending. When the TV arrived he called me to tel mel the bolts to attach the TV to the stand were missing. In turn on 6/13/2014 I called Newegg and told them to please send the bolts directly to my son. They said they would contact Samsumg and have them shipped out UPS. On 6/23/2014 I called Newegg and told them the bolts had not arrived. They said they would contact Samsung and call me back the next day. THIS NEVER HAPPENED. I sent numerous emails to Newegg of which I received NO reply. I finally became so frustrated I called Samsung directly and they said they would make sure the bolts were sent out immediately. If this is the kind of customer service that Newegg provides I would never do business with them again.

Answer: The reason why i gave a bad review was because i ordered a phone for my wife, An I-phone 5 and NewEgg.com only sent a box with the manual and a charger for the phone. I called NewEgg.com and explained to them and they stated i needed to wait while they investigate, they never got back to me so i called them again. The person i talked to put me on hold then came back to me and stated she was checking this what was going on and kept putting me on hold for a total of 45 minutes to only come back and tell me that i need to send them a picture of the box and contents. I have no clue what my wife or children did with the box now i am screwed. 219.00 down the drain. This was the first and last purchase i will make until the get this straight.
