ASUS laptop

I bought a laptop from their site and it had so many problems over the time I had it that I eventually took my computer in to get it checked out. Basically I was told whoever put the computer together didn't seem like they put it together right which is why screws kept falling out even though it was fairly new. Also they sold me a laptop with a severed wifi cord piece and the cost of replacing it would be the same as me buying a new laptop. Couldn't be more angry that I spent $600 on a laptop that could barely last a year and of course I didn't get it checked out until after the warranty was up.

Bad

I ordered three things. A computer case, fans and a motherboard. The case was on time because it wasn't dropped off at smart post. Stupid idea, btw. The motherboard, which is what I need to complete a build is STILL not here after 6 days of nothing. I am in the same City from where it was shipped. I should have just payed the extra money for Amazon to give me the motherboard. I will NEVER use newegg again. Shipping sucks here.

Ordered 2 items from Newegg. Received shipment in a large box. Opened box and inside were 2 smaller boxes. One containing a processor was crushed. Not the other box or outside box were damaged. Which means, this item was shipped already damaged. I have tried repeatedly and without success to get a store credit for the full amount. They finally offered a store credit, but short 50 dollars. I turned this down as they were the ones to ship a damaged box. I in return have filed a complaint with the BBB there in California and I await their help. I would never recommend this company to anyone.

I bought a laptop from Newegg because they offered the best price. As a result, I got a fairly good amount of Newegg points. I spent the points in buying ink cartridges from one of the sellers in Newegg. Newegg points were not enough, so I paid additional 13 dollars. The item was never received. I requested redelivery. The item was not received again. The seller just gave me the tracking number and did nothing further. I sent them a request again, but the seller refused to deliver the item again. I contacted Newegg for further assistance. They just forwarded my claim to the seller! The answer was of course the same and my claim was declined and closed. What on earth is the role of Newegg if they just forward my message to the seller? I just lost my newegg points (which is fine, because I will never use the shop again) and my 13 dollars. Terrible customer service. Use Amazon.

My son was building himself a computer and researched and purchased all the components. Once he assembled the computer, it didn't work. We had to get diagnostics done by an IT specialist, who said the motherboard we purchased from NewEgg was faulty. They refused to refund because it had been more than 15 days, despite the fact they sold us a NON-WORKING PART. No way of knowing within the 15 days, because the other components hadn't arrived to assemble the computer. This is basically robbery.

I purchased a used dell computer from Newegg for overnight delivery. It arrived a week later and the hard drive was defective so I returned it. They acknowledged accepting the return, refunded the original shipping charges and said I would be refunded the cost of the computer within 4-5 business days. It didn't happen so I opened a dispute through my credit card. So far it's been over two months and Newegg still hasn't refunded the money. I contacted the credit card today and found out the dispute is being escalated because Newegg claims I agreed to go ahead and let them keep money even though I'd returned the computer and they agreed to me they would refund it. Obviously, since they have no evidence -- in fact evidence to the contrary -- that'd I would let them do this, I'll eventually get refunded my money. But I've never had this kind of problem with a legitimate company before and I highly recommend anyone considering it avoid doing business with them.

Newegg is a market place, not a vendor. It appears you are purchasing products and warranties from Newegg, but when the products are misrepresented (IE getting a Home version of Windows VS WINDOws Pro on your Laptop), they claim they did not sell it, and go as far as blocking your review calling out false advertising. When you purchase a extended warranty. It is a replacement warranty good for one replacement credit for the purchse price of your misrepresented junk. It refunds the list price of the junk when purchased, not shipping, handling or the price of the plan, which expires once you use it. Again this is through a third party. And Newegg gives you no indication of who warrantied the product or where to file a claim unless you call and ask for it. Expect the same nasty "not our problem attitude" when you call to get this information. Once you do file a claim expect to spend several weeks of being promised a credit in 2-3 day, another 5-7 days, another 8-10 days. The time gets longer every time they miss a deadline. I am currently in the 8-10 day cycle, I am confident on day 11 I will be told another 10 to 15 days. The warranty company (AIG) blames Newegg, Newegg blames AIG, If you put both companies on a conference call they blame the company who sold the computer. Don't bother asking for a manger, they will just put you on hold for 10 minutes and come back with the same answer.
3-6-17 Update: I just spent another hour cutting and pasting a response to Newegg's response requesting more information. Will see where this goes. Crazy that I have to go to these length's to in hopes of getting any results.

Ha-Ha Ha, got another response please allow 3-5 bussiness days for someone nto notice my response.

I've spent over $10,000 in the last year alone at Newegg. They've messed up numerous orders, and the customer has to jump through more hoops than a circus act to get anything. I cancelled an order and THREE WEEKS LATER they shipped it and charged me. I returned the UNOPENED package and they said it wasn't theirs... with the Newegg packaging and name all over. After 12+ hours (yep, that's right) of trying to deal with "managers," I finally disputed it with my card company as I had no other choice. My Newegg account was instantly suspended. What a crappy company with crappy morals and zero accountability. Shop anywhere else.

Waited over threee months. Had to call two or three times and still never got the rebate.
Also tried to post a review accurately describing the fact that I never got the rebate and Newegg censored it and would not allow it to post. Newegg agreed my post was fair and accurate but said they "did not allow information about rebates to be posted"!

I bot a computer from them. It ended up being so cheaply made that within 2 months the wires connecting the keyboard to the computer were exposed. I get a 'free' headset bundled with the computer. It didn't work and calling customer service was a total nightmare. One person hung up on me because I asked if I could speak with a supervisor. I ended up sending the headset back in at my expense only for it to go into a black hole. Looks like I will never get the replacement headset I was told I would get.

I am sorry I ever ran across Newegg.

Poor service

I ordered a part from Newegg that went to the wrong address (not my fault) When i contacted them they told me it was sold by a different company even though the receipt shows Newegg and all correspondence is with Newegg. Bottom line i now have to chase the 3rd party down to resolve the issue since Newegg says it is not their issue.

I order screen for my hp stream computer from this company, they send me not working screen, as soon as i put the screen in it did not work,(just showing me some vertical lines) so I try to contact them by phone, did not work (nobody will answer) then by the Email, nobody answer again, I try on chat... that did not do anything either) and that goes on for a days, So I think for this many years that I been buying things trough Internet I have never ever seen something like that.

Terrible customer service. They have no desire to fix the issue they created.
I ordered a product for my business and paid $20 extra for 2 day Exress Shipping in order to finish my project for work on time. The order delivered 8 days later. And they have no intentions of reimbursing my shipping charge.
Terrible Terrible Terrible Online company.
I will go with what I know... I will stick to my Amazon Prime thanks!
And will NEVER use Newegg again.
